The flashback ends, and as I look around, the realization sinks in. I mutter to myself, "So, all this monsters that I see are not truly monsters, but innocent children. Tears continue to fall from my eyes; they've suffered so much. They are too young for all of this.
Old Grammy, a witch powerful but good witch, she chosen to reside in the mountains, dedicating herself to protecting nature and using it as her retirement abode. There she met the children, save and choose to protect them
But Old Grammy met her tragic end when soldiers, accompanied by a priest wielding holy magic, attacked her while she and Stead were gathering herbs. Though Old Grammy possessed the power to defeat them, the soldiers cunningly used the child Stead as leverage to force her to surrender.
Heartbreakingly, they callously ended Stead's life even after she had been disarmed. With Old Grammy's demise, the last protection array on the cottage disappeared, leaving it vulnerable to further attack. Thats when the soldiers killed and burned all of the remaining children.
In her dying moments, Old Grammy, with the last remnants of her magic, made a profound sacrifice. She delved into dark magic, offering her humanity and soul as a price to revive all the dying children, hoping to give them a second chance. This act of extraordinary selflessness is why they are as they are now.
Stead, the young boy, had his life cruelly cut short, leaving only his head intact. Through Old Grammy's magic, he transformed into a human-spider hybrid.
The other children, who had suffered from severe beatings and burns, were tragically pushed beyond the limits of humanity, turning them into dark and grotesque entities. They had lost their humanity, but Old Grammy's intention was clear—to provide them with the love and care that the world had tragically failed to provide to these innocent children.
I return to the cottage, everything is apparently in ruins, the result of a destructive fire. The menacing monsters, along with Old Grammy, bear terrifying appearances, yet I can sense the innocence within them.
Slowly, I approach them, unable to resist the urge to embrace them. I weep as I hug them, just like a child seeking comfort. "Why is the world like this?" I mutter. "Why is there so much suffering? Those who are fortunate could help, but instead, they cause pain to others Why??!!

(Flashback)
"Larry, what are you looking at?" Lena inquires, her curiosity piqued.
"Tadaaa," Larry exclaims, unveiling an old camera. "Ohhh, what's that?" Stead asks, showing interest.
"I took this when we escaped; they call this a camera," Larry explains.
"Ca..me..ra?" Beca, the young girl, repeats, her eyes wide with wonder.
"Yes, a camera," Larry confirms. "They say you can use this to capture beautiful things in one click, and a piece of paper called a picture will come out."
Lena, however, is not pleased. "Seriously, why did you take that?" she questions, her tone filled with annoyance.
Larry disregards her and instead says, "Look, look at this," as he clicks the camera, capturing a stunning image of the forest. "See, beautiful, right?"
"Amazing wow! Oh, how about us?" Stead eagerly suggests.
Larry agrees, and they gather all the other children, Old Grammy, and even Lena, despite her initial reluctance. Together, they capture a picture of happy smiles and create lasting memories. It is a remembrance for at least one moment of their lives, they experience happiness, love, and the care of the world.
(Flashback End)
After giving a long, emotional hug, I gradually regain my composure. Although tears still linger in my eyes, they're slowly fading away. Old Grammy, wearing a warm and grateful smile, speaks, "Thank you... because of you, we can be free."
Suddenly, the grotesque appearances of Old Grammy and the other children begin to change, transforming them back into human form. As my vision clears, I realize that it's not just the original six survivors; I can see more children, many more. These are the children who had once failed to survive at the manor. They surround me, their presence overwhelming.
Once again, tears flow freely from my eyes, not just for the six survivors but for all these innocent souls. Old Grammy's magic has not only saved the original six but all the lost children, even those who had already passed on. She granted them a brief moment of happiness before they vanished from this world completely.
Bowing deeply in the presence of so much gratitude and love, I whisper, "Old Grammy, thank you, thank you," offering the greatest gratitude of my life.
As the moment with Old Grammy and the children fills my heart with warmth, I suddenly hear a notification, "Game Cleared." Confused, I look around, only to see that they are gradually fading away. The entire world around me starts to dissolve, and I realize that I'm being pulled back to my own world, returning me back.
I finish the game but at what cause?
