Chapter 29: The Old Grammy💀👵💀

Great, that's 5 out of 10 pieces, and it seems like a picture of a person? I'm still missing 5 pieces, so who knows what this is. Fortunately, I haven't seen the human-headed spider. Slowly, my fear changed into my strength. I need to survive this place, and now, I'm halfway there.

As I'm looking at the pieces of pictures, I hear a sound coming from the alleyway. I'm inside a room, and I know that it's not the human-headed spider because every time I hear it walk, everything feels ominous it is very different.

I quickly hide inside one of the cabinets as the sounds keep growing louder and more unsettling. With trembling breath, I peer out, and that's when I see her—an old woman, a twisted visage of what once was humanity. Her wrinkled skin clings to her bony frame, draped in tattered rags that seem to have been stained by unspeakable horrors.

Her milky, sightless eyes, devoid of life, cast an eerie, empty gaze that sends shivers down my spine. The tangled, matted hair on her head hangs like a curtain of shadows, concealing secrets best left unknown. Every step she takes is a discordant, unholy melody of creaking joints and echoing whispers. My heart races as I realize I'm not alone in this nightmarish place.

The old woman stands there, her presence exuding an eerie and malevolent aura, as she silently fixates on the door. With methodical, deliberate movements, she begins to explore the room, her twisted form resembling a ghastly specter. Each of her actions sends a chill through the room, as if the very air is tainted by her sinister presence.

Suddenly, a bone-chilling scuttle emanates from outside the room, signaling the approach of the human-headed spider. It draws near to the old woman, its grotesque and nightmarish appearance further intensifying the atmosphere of horror.

In a voice that sends shivers down my spine, the old woman speaks, her words dripping with a sinister, unsettling tone.

Taken from Royal Road, this narrative should be reported if found on Amazon.

"Little one, did you feed your brothers?" she hisses, her bony fingers patting the head of the human-headed spider.

The human-headed spider nods, unable to speak, its grotesque appearance serving as a silent response.

The old woman continues, her voice growing even more unsettling. "What happened? Is it Larry? It seems like he's out for play. I told you all to stay inside when eating, right?!!!" Her words are laced with dread, her scolding tone resonating with a sinister edge.

As she raises her voice in anger, the room is engulfed in a nightmarish aura. Her terrifying shriek sends out eerie waves that seem to seep into every corner, leaving an indelible sense of dread.

"Seems like a rat has escaped, huh?" she mutters. She scans the room, her gaze unsettlingly sharp, as if she senses my presence. Please, no, I silently beg. She begins walking toward the cabinet where I'm hiding, my heart pounding in my chest.

I close my eyes and start to pray, hoping she'll go away. Suddenly, I hear the spine-tingling sound of a cabinet slowly creaking open. It's a terrifying, drawn-out sound that fills me with dread. I'm trapped, and fear surges through me as I realize I may be discovered.

Thank God, it's the locked cabinet next to me its the cabinet I can't open before seems like she take a bunch of metals from it, which appear to be keys. Her voice, though still eerie, takes on an increasingly frustrated tone.

"Ahhh, one key is missing. It seems like someone freed him. Who could it be?" she ponders aloud, her dread-inducing presence hanging heavily in the room.

In a shocking and inexplicably swift move, she rushes toward the human-headed spider and grips its neck tightly. The creature convulses in apparent agony, struggling to breathe as she chokes it. It seems like the creature is dying.

Then, suddenly her eerie presence undergoes a profound transformation. She becomes an old grandmother who seems genuinely sorry. Her vice-like grip on the human-headed spider's neck gradually loosens, and she begins to lower her hand. With a quivering voice, she repeatedly says, "I'm sorry... I'm sorry, little one."

Everything I saw in this world is truly crazy and it feels like I would die any moment, I truly need to escape this place.
