The sound of guns and bullets echos outside, like a rain bullets poured down relentlessly to us. I tried to fire back, but there too many gunshot. "Damn it!" I cursed aloud in frustration.
We are hiding at an unmanned building. Steven, a fellow comrade, attempted to shoot back, but as he aimed his weapon through the window, he was killed in an instant.
"Just how did I end up here?! how did my life became full of survival and death?!"
The monotony of my life was interrupted that fateful night. My name is Lee Minseo, a Korean, and up until that point, my life had been nothing more than a series of normalcy. I had a regular family, an average job, an ordinary paycheck, and an unremarkable love life. My days were predictably dull, but I found my solace and happiness in one place: the game, Player's Online BattleGround, or POBG for short.
POBG was a survival game, pitting 100 players against each other in solo, duo, or squad battles. It was in this virtual battleground that I could escape from the mundanity of life and find a glimmer of joy.
It looks I fall asleep but it felt as if time itself had come to a standstill. Had I fallen asleep at my computer? I pondered if I had perhaps played the game for far too long. But when I looked around, I realized I was no longer in my own home. This place was undeniably familiar.
This is it – the unmistakable interface of POBG. How am I here? Had my gaming habits led me into a delusional state?
And then, a woman materialized in a shimmering holographic form before me.
"Welcome to The World of Games," she declared, her voice resonating with an otherworldly echo.
"This is the place where dreams and imagination will intertwine. The reality from which you've escaped no longer exists, and now, you've arrived at your most cherished game of all. This will become your new life, where dreams will be forged, and memories will be created, alongside your fellow gamers. Here, this will be your reality."

"The Admin will grant you access to all the Game World Systems of Player's Online BattleGround. Simply command 'SYSTEM' to activate the system. To connect with fellow gamers and explore other game worlds, say 'WORLD SYSTEM.'
You'll also observe the Realitization Bar; once it reaches 100%, this game and all others will become your ultimate reality. Thank you, and enjoy!" She slowly vanish as she give a eerie and unsettling smile.
I though this will be awesome, and I believed my life was about to transform into something extraordinary. In my haste, I didn't bother to understand any potential consequences. I jumped right into a solo game, a decision I would come to regret.
It was a surreal experience as the game's virtual battleground began to intertwine with my reality. I believe that it was all still a game, even as I faced the daunting challenge of a 100 vs 1 scenario. My own mind seemed to be playing tricks on me.
Looking back, I realized that in that moment, I must have been truly crazy to believe that this was all part of a game, despite the very real and perilous circumstances I was in.
The airship we were on bustled with life and chatter. A hundred people occupied this floating vessel, conversing as if their existence was as real as the air we breathed. But I couldn't bring myself to believe that everything is true. To me, this all felt like a dream, something beyond the boundaries of reality and I am just having fun but I am truly dumb thinking that at that time.
As the airship hovered above Bitter River, a city nestled next to a winding river, my fellow passengers and I prepared to leap into the unknown. I leaped from the airship, my heart pounding with adrenaline. Dozens of others joined me, diving into the same area, but I couldn't shake the feeling that this was just a dream, or perhaps a typical game.
Little did I know that in those fleeting moments, my life was about to undergo a transformation that I could never have foreseen. The line between what I considered reality and fantasy was about to blur beyond recognition, and my world was on the brink of a monumental change.
Parachuting was a completely new experience for me, and I fumbled to grasp how to handle it. The only reference I had was what I'd seen on videos, and I attempted to imitate the actions I'd observed. However, in my panic, I deployed my parachute prematurely, causing me to descend far more slowly than others. I watched as the majority of players continued to plummet towards the ground.
It was only then that I realized my mistake saved my life. A lot fell to the ground one by one completely... they did not use the parachute, where is the automatic parachuting? or at least why did not use it? Am I still dreaming?! They are dead!! there flesh and organs is scattered on the ground!! This dream is far too real?!
I don't know at that time my life will about to turn into hell.
