Chapter 22: A Learning Experience

Kyle dashed across the yard like an idiot, barefooted.  In his excitement to run and get Sera, he’d ran outside without putting his shoes or jacket on.  Her home was right next door, but the ground was still frozen and covered with frost, and he was running and hopping like an idiot in the predawn dark.  Trying to jump the hedge between the two properties, Kyle misjudged, got tangled in the shrubbery, and ended up crashing face down on Sera’s frozen yard, lightly scraping up his elbow and staining his thin school shirt.

Scurrying to his feet, Kyle glanced around left and right to make certain no one saw how foolish he looked, and then when he saw the coast was clear and his ego was still safe, he dashed the remaining distance around the house and slid open the kitchen door.  Once inside, Kyle rubbed his arms several times and half jogged in place to get his circulation and temperature back up.  While he was jogging in place, a sudden thought hit Kyle and he stopped in his tracks.

‘The kitchen door wasn’t ever locked.’  Kyle knew this for a fact.  Franklin wasn’t worried about being robbed.  Everyone knew where he lived, and no one was going to break into his house and chance him being at home, or somehow learning who they were afterwards.  Being the size of a grizzly bear had some distinct advantages to it.  Sera was over at his house, and using his shower, because she said her door was locked!

Why the heck didn’t she just walk around and come in the kitchen door?!

Frowning slightly in puzzlement to himself, Kyle slowly tiptoed through the kitchen and up the stairs to the second floor.  It was still dark, but he didn’t want to turn on a light and wake up her parents early on a Saturday morning.  Besides, unless Fanny had booby trapped the hall again with something she’d misplaced or sat down in a weird spot, he knew the way well enough that he didn’t need any lights.  Still though, with the possibility of Fanny’s landmines being ever present, Kyle slowly and cautiously crept down the hallway until he turned the corner, eased open the door, and crept into Sera’s room.

There was a small lava lamp giving off pale shades of pink and purple light, and what it illuminated made Kyle almost go blind in his one good eye!  Sera was laid on her back on the bed, wearing nothing but what looked like one of his tee-shirts, which was bunched and shoved up almost to her chin; eyes closed, with a deep peaceful look on her face.  Lying half atop her was Heather, wearing nothing more than a pair of thin, stringy black panties, who was ever so lightly kissing around Sera’s belly button.

Rubbing his one good eye to make certain that he wasn’t imagining things, Kyle blinked several times as Heather was still there! In fact, she was slowly starting to kiss and work her way up Sera’s stomach.  At which point, Kyle had to cough slightly a few times to get her attention.

With the first little cough, Heather stopped like a deer caught in the headlights of a tractor-trailer.   With the second little cough, she slowly lifted her head and stared to see who had caught her.  With the third cough, she gently slid Kyle’s shirt down over Sera’s chest until it almost covered her again, and then she slowly eased out of the bed and brushed past him to go out into the hall.  Stopping at the entrance to the guest room, she slowly turned and stared at Kyle for a few moments to make certain he would follow, and then she went into the room.

Bewildered, Kyle eased out of Sera’s room and into the guestroom.  Heather was standing there, no more than five feet away, with a hand regally placed on both hips.  In nothing more than her panties!

At this point, Kyle was certain that he was still probably in his bed, dreaming.  Heather’s long blond hair was loose and cascading down her back, and even in the dark, the silhouette of her bare torso was enough to make his young male hormones race while he stood awkwardly at attention.

“So?”  Heather asked, raising an eyebrow.  “What do you want?”

“Umm… What do I want?”  Kyle repeated, blankly.

“Money? Me to recommend you to father for a job, or a scholarship?”  Heather snorted disdainfully.  “What is it you want?”

“For what?” Kyle asked puzzled.

“To keep your mouth shut, of course!”  Heather snapped at him.  “Just let me know what it is, and we’ll sort something out.  Not sex of course,” she half shivered at the thought of it, but definitely didn’t try to cover herself at all.  “Honestly, as you realize now, I don’t swing that way.”

“Umm…  You’re na.. naked.”  Kyle stammered out the obvious, his mind seeming to have problems following along with whatever Heather was saying.

Snorting, Heather moved her hands and began to remove her panties.  “If that’s all you want is to look, then fine.  Keep your mouth shut, and your hands to yourself, and you can look until your eyes fall out!  Should’ve known,” she muttered to herself.

“Uhhhh…”  Kyle simply stared for several confusing moments, and then slowly turned and walked back out and down the stairs.

“You just remember to keep your mouth shut, if you expect to ever have another look,” Heather half called out behind him.

In a daze, Kyle opened the kitchen door, walked out, and gently shut it behind him.   The morning air didn’t seem as cold as it had before; in fact, it felt nice and refreshingly cool against this skin.  Slowly he walked along the hedge and opened the gate, before going through and closing it behind him.  With the same slow pace, he worked his way to his house and inside. Shutting the door behind himself, Kyle slowly started up the stairs.

“Where’s Sera?” His mom asked, coming around the corner from the kitchen.

“She was tired and wanted to rest a bit more,” he lied.  What the hell was he supposed to say?!  “Think I’m going to go on up and get a little more rest as well.  The cold air made my eye ache.”

“But what about breakfast?”  His mom asked perplexed.

“I’ll get some later.” Kyle answered as he neared the top of the stairs.  “I’m just not hungry right now.”

His mom walked to the bottom of the steps and stared up watching him until he was in his room and the door shut behind him.  Clicking her tongue lightly against the roof of her mouth, she just sighed slightly.  “Idiot boy of mine!  Just had to go and pick a fight first thing in the morning.  When will you ever learn, you poor thing.”

Kyle was learning!  If she just knew what he’d just learnt, she’d probably feel completely different right now.
