The twins, Kristine and Christopher, greeted the guests as they arrived at their mansion for their sixth birthday party.
Kristine wore a blue dress with a yellow ribbon across her waist and a matching headband. Christopher was wearing a blue dress shirt underneath a navy blue blazer and pants complete with shiny black shoes. The boy's hair was slicked back with the product while his sister's hair had beautiful curls like those of a princess.
The siblings looked like the perfect little angels, with their blond hair and golden eyes shining bright. Everyone who saw them couldn't help but feel drawn to their innocence and charming looks.
All the attendees couldn't help but feel envious of Garrett and Nicole, the parents of the twins.
Kristine and Christopher had spent hours preparing for this event. They purchased nothing but Beauty Trait books in order to maximize the amount of Love Points to be gained from this event.
They knew that the cuter they were, the more love and adoration they would receive from their family.
The room was decorated with balloons floating in mid-air and colorful streamers hanging from the ceiling and walls. Party music played by the DJ filled the air. It was a mix of popular hits and children's tunes.
The twins didn't care for the music, but they played along. They sang along from time to time with their sweet and enchanting voices. Their singing draw the attention of the attendees, and that's all that mattered to them.
The twins were still a little shocked by the number of attendees at their birthday party. Several members of their extended family came out from far away to celebrate the special occasion. All of them belonged to their mother's side of the family, and they were all wealthy
and well-respected.
The twins were curious about why they never saw relatives from their dad's side of the family. When they innocently asked their mother about their father's relatives, she tried her best to avoid the subject. So the twins didn't press the issue again.
Countless notifications popped up in the bottom right corner of their vision as the siblings greeted each new arrival.
"77 Love Points from Mary Oscar," a notification popped up in Kristine' vision as she greeted her aunt with a hug.
"45 Love Points from Tim Oscar," another notification appeared in Christopher' vision as he greeted his older cousin with a high five.
As they welcomed each guest, their popularity was clear as they smiled and hugged each new arrival. The amount of Love Points they already accumulated was getting ridiculous.
"Grandpa!" Christopher yelled as he ran into the living room to hug his grandfather, who had just arrived at the party after being at work all day.
"That's my little prince," his grandfather said with a warm smile before turning to Kristine. "And there's the lovely princess."
999 Love Points from Simon Oscar
28 Hatred Points from Simon Oscar
Two notifications appeared in Kristine's vision as her grandfather picked her up and swung her into the air. The twins often wondered why they would obtain hatred points from their sweet grandfather and it was later through the servants' gossip that they finally discovered the reason.
Their grandfather, Simon Oscar was a billionaire but he wanted his daughter to marry a good man, rather than someone who was only interested in his wealth and status. He had tried to set her up with a few kind and successful men, but she had always refused.
She always insisted that she would find someone on her own. So, when he discovered that she had begun dating a notorious playboy, he was furious.
Their grandfather had hated Garrett. He was convinced that he was a deceitful gigolo who had tricked his naive, innocent daughter.
Christopher found this funny because he couldn't imagine his father as anything other than a stern workaholic. If his father had indeed been a bit of a playboy in his younger days, he must’ve worked really hard to clean up his act.
But Kristine and Christopher knew that their grandfather loved them deeply, despite his initial reservations about their father. The Love Points they obtained from their grandfather were all the proof they needed.
"My babies are growing so fast, huh? You're going to grow up and become a beautiful lady someday," their grandfather said to Kristine before turning to Christopher. "And handsome gentlemen, I bet."
Then he set Kristine down on her feet gently before taking his place beside Christopher, smiling proudly at both kids as they giggled nervously. "Now then, where's that dang dad of yours?!"
"Hi Father," Garrett called out to his father-in-law as he entered the house and smiled at the two children. "Happy Birthday!"
He was dressed in a military-style white dress uniform and holding two hastily wrapped presents. His brown hair was still wet, most likely from a quick shower after leaving the base. It was obvious to everyone that he rushed to get here as quickly as possible.
"Dad!" Kristine and Christopher shouted simultaneously, holding their arms up as they hugged their father tightly.
"Hey, guys! You two are getting so big!" Garrett said with loving eyes. "I miss you both so much."

A notification popped up as the twins hugged their father.
"Love you, Daddy!" Kristine and Christopher yelled happily together as they continued hugging him tightly.
"You managed to find time to stop by for your children's birthday?" Simon asked, crossing his arms over his chest and glaring at his son-in-law. He remembered how his son-in-law wasn't even present for the birth of his grandchildren.
"Yes, I managed to take some time off," Garrett replied nervously. "I wouldn't have missed my children's birthday for anything."
"It's a bit tough to get time off work, but I've been doing such a great job so I was able to get a few days off," Garrett continued, glancing guiltily at his children. "Besides, I've missed too many occasions like this."
"Good, good!" Simon exclaimed, feeling a little guilty himself.
He knew that before Garrett met his daughter, he was a bit of a delinquent and a playboy, not really caring about anyone except himself. But then Simon gave him an ultimatum, either straighten out and become a respected member of society or say goodbye to his daughter forever.
It was that ultimatum that had finally pushed Garrett to expose his psionic abilities and join the army.
Garrett's current transformation had been a complete surprise to everyone, including Simon.
As a Brigadier General in the military, Garrett was far more respected than a hooligan who spent his weekends partying in bars and chasing women.
"Dad, let's go see Mom. She'll be so surprised," Christopher said excitedly, trying to tug on his father's military jacket. "Come on, Dad!"
Christopher just couldn't stand the awkwardness of the interaction between their father and grandpa. It was clear that they were still not quite comfortable around one another yet.
As the three of them walked towards the kitchen, Christopher and Kristine were practically bouncing with excitement. They couldn't wait to see the look on their mother's face when they all walked in together.
"Mom! Dad's here!" Christopher yelled as they entered the kitchen. Their mother, who was busy directing the servants, turned around with a surprised look on her face.
"Garrett, what are you doing here?" She asked, her eyes lighting up with joy as she saw her husband and children.
"I couldn't miss my babies' birthday," Garrett replied as he pulled his wife into a hug.
As the couple hugged each other tightly, Kristine and Christopher couldn't help but feel grateful for their new life.
They may have been reincarnated into a wealthy and powerful family, but it was how loving their new family was that truly made them happy.

"Come on, everyone is already outside. It's time for the cake!" Christopher yelled excitedly at his sister while trying to grab her hand.
"Okay, okay, I'm coming," Kristine grumbled as Christopher tugged on her arm. "Honestly, you're acting like a real six year old. Are you sure we have the same memories of our past lives?"
Christopher stuck his tongue out at her, "Hey, it's our birthday. We're allowed to act like kids today. And we got Love Points to earn."
She hopped down from her seat and followed her brother outside. The twins made their way to the backyard, which was decked out with flowers and decorations.
Tables were set up with white tablecloths and silverware for all the guests, most of whom were adults, including some relatives who had recently moved abroad. Their parents beamed with pride as they watched over them.
Flowers and colorful decorations hung down from arches over the lawn, and the tables were set with white tablecloths covered in silverware and cups for all the guests.
As they took their seats at the end of an elegant crystal dinner table, Christopher turned to Kristine and said, "Don’t you feel kinda spoiled right now? I mean, look at all this stuff."
Kristine shrugged, "Really? It seems pretty normal now, you know?" She had already become somewhat numb to it all and didn't find it strange at all.
Christopher nodded, "I guess you're right. But still, it's kind of crazy when you think about it. Not everyone gets to have a birthday party like this."
Kristine nodded in agreement, "Yeah, I know. I guess we're really lucky."
Despite the twins' appreciation for their new privileged upbringing, it was still hard for them to fully grasp the extravagance of it all.
As the twins looked at their surroundings, they couldn't help but notice that there wasn't a single person their own age at the party.
Everyone else was an adult or teenager, including some relatives who had recently returned from overseas.
"We really need to make some friends our own age," Christopher said to Kristine. "People are starting to get worried."
Kristine rolled her eyes. "Well, I guess having memories of our past lives does make us a bit more mature," she whispered to her brother as they sat at the end of the long dining table. "But honestly, I don't feel like dealing with brats."
Just then, an extravagant birthday cake was carried to their table, interrupting their conversation. The multistory cake was adorned with six candles arranged around it.
The twins were shocked by how beautiful the cake was up-close and stared at it in awe as everyone sang "Happy Birthday" to them.
"Damn, this cake must have cost a fortune," Kristine whispered to Christopher.
"Yeah, looks like I'm still not used to all this money" Christopher replied.
"Time to blow out your candles and make a wish," their mom said from the crowd. Cameras flashed as the twins closed their eyes and made their wishes. They already knew their Love Points were skyrocketed.
Their mom and dad walked over to them, smiling.
"Happy birthday, my little angels," their mom said, giving them a hug after they blew out the candles.
Their dad patted their heads before posing with them for the cameras.
Through the camera flashes, the twins exchanged a genuine smile with each other. Their new life was everything they could have ever hoped for.
