After the incident with David, Kristine went home and tried to put the whole thing out of her mind. She didn't want to dwell on it and instead focused on other things in her life, like her studies and her next musical recital.
She sat down at the grand piano in her bedroom. The light pink piano with gold trims was gaudy, but Kristine didn't mind it. She began to play, her fingers dancing all over the keys as the notes of the piano piece filled the room.
She was lost in the music as she reached the middle of the piano solo. Then, as usual, Chris burst into her room without any regard for her privacy.
"Hey Kris, I heard you got confessed to again," Christopher said, a mischievous smirk on his face. "Who's the unlucky guy this time?"
"Yeah, same as usual," Kristine stopped her playing and replied with a sigh. "It was David, the scholarship student who's really good at studying. He's a good kid."
As reincarnated individuals who lived a past life as an adult, the twins viewed all of their peers as children and would refer to them as "kids" in private.
Christopher chuckled. "Oh, him. Let’s have a little chat with him”
Kristine raised an eyebrow at her brother's sudden interest. "Why? You've never cared about a guy confessing to me before," she pointed out. "You usually just tease me a bit, then brush it off."
Christopher shrugged. "I’m just sick of people annoying my sister.”

The next day, David rushed to his next class, his dark hair swaying. As a scholarship student, his grades were a top priority. He knew that he couldn't afford to be late for class. He sped his pace and quickly turned the corner, determined to make it to class on time. Suddenly, he slammed into a large figure.
It was Christopher, Kristine's brother. His glossy blond hair and golden eyes drew the attention of everyone in the hallway. Everyone in hallway knew him as his face was plastered all over posters as the star forward-center of the school's basketball team.
David thought it was an accident. He tried to step around him but Christopher sidestepped to block his way again. It was clear to David and the students nearby that this was no accident. Something was about to start.
"Hey, scholarship boy," Christopher said, starting the conversation.
"Hello, Chris," David replied, feeling a sense of unease. He felt the hostility emulating from Chris for some unknown reason.
"So you think you're good enough to even confess to my sister?" Christopher asked, his voice filled with disdain. "A poor bastard like you isn’t even fit to be in the same room as my sister."
"Why was he trying to pick a fight with me?" David thought to himself, feeling confused. He had always known that he was an outsider at this elite private school, but nobody ever gave him trouble. He thought that after getting rejected by Kristine, that would be the end of it.
"I already got rejected by Kris. Why are you trying to start something?" David asked, trying to understand Christopher's motives. "You think you can just insult people and get away with it?"
Christopher crossed his arms. "Yeah, I do," he said. "You're a nobody, unlike the other boys that confessed to my sister. Your parents are nothing but a couple of low-class peasants holding you back. It’s too bad you were born to parents like that.”
Those words hit a nerve. David loved his parents. They were not wealthy, but they work hard to provide for him. He thought of his exhausted father, working late nights as a construction worker, and his mother, tirelessly running a small food cart until the late hours of the evening. Chris had no idea what his parents sacrificed for him.
"What did you just say?" David growled, his face turning red with anger. He couldn't believe that Christopher would go so far as to insult his parents for no reason.
Christopher chuckled mockingly and shook his head. "You heard me," he said, his voice full of arrogance. "Your parents are holding you back, David. They're a burden to you. You could be so much more if you weren't born to them. Now, you'll never be anything more than the son of low-class peasants."
That was it. David couldn't take it anymore. He charged at Christopher with his fists raised. At this moment, he didn't care how large or strong Christopher was. All he wanted to do was teach him a lesson for insulting his parents.
The crowd of students backed away in a hurry as David ran towards Christopher.
David reached his target and swung his fist wildly, trying to land a punch. But he missed every strike. Chris was too fast, easily dodging and weaving around him. His reflexes were honed by his skills and experience in Muay Thai, which he had received from the Angel and Devil System.
David couldn't land a single punch no matter how hard he tried.
Christopher was too fast. His movements were fluid and contained traces of combat experience.
But David persisted in chasing after him, blinded by rage. The Hatred Points he generated for Christopher were maxed out in the instant.
That was not all. Some of the students couldn't help but stare in awe at Christopher's combat movements. They had always thought of him as just a handsome, popular, boy, but the combat skills he was showing made him even more attractive. Some of the students began to root for Christopher, due to his handsomeness, earning him both love points and hatred points simultaneously.
Christopher smiled as the points piled up. He was pleased with himself for coming up with the idea to antagonize David and patted himself in the back, unaware of how cruel his plan was.
Suddenly, Christopher performed a push kick on David, sending him to the ground and knocking the wind out of him.
"A toad wants to eat a swan," Christopher humphed. The surrounding students were confused by this strange idiom but David got even angrier. It was obvious to him that Chris wasn't taking this seriously, and that he was just doing this for kicks.
If you stumble upon this tale on Amazon, it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.
"You think this is a joke?" David said, struggling to his feet.
"Damn straight, just like you," Christopher said in a mocking tone.
"You won't get away with this," David said, his voice shaky as he got on one knee. "There are too many witnesses here".
Christopher laughed. "Go ahead and report me," he said unconcerned. "I'll just deny it, and school will side with me. You're just a scholarship kid, with no money or power while my parents are major donors to this school."
The crowd's whispers grew after Christopher's confession. Their previously positive image of him had been shattered. A few of the scholarship students in the group wanted to say something, but they held it in. A new wave of Hatred Points was being generated, and it made him rejoice. And since it was the final year of middle school, he couldn't give a rat's ass about his reputation anymore.
"230 Hatred Points from ..."
"500 Hatred Points from ..."
"681 Hatred Points from ..."
David knew that Christopher was right, and he felt a sense of despair. He knew that he would probably be expelled but he wanted to at least wipe that smug look off Christopher's face. He charged at Christopher, attempting to take him down while he was distracted.
But Christopher noticed the David's charge, and with quick reflexes, he easily sidestepped him. Then he delivered a swift knee strike to David's stomach.
David felt like his lunch was about to come back up. His stomach was heaving as he fell on all fours.
The crowd winced because Christopher was going too far. But he was not done, smirking as he approached David who was dry-heaving on the ground.

Kristine sat in the school music room, her fingers flying over the keys of the piano in front of her students. She was a student tutor in the midst of teaching them and they were enchanted by her piano playing. Every note and chord that Kristine played felt like a life-changing experience to them.
As a musician with sold-out concerts, Kristine basked in their adoration and the Love Points they generated. But that was not all. She began to find joy in teaching students. She was always amazed by how much they improved under her guidance. She never expected to find such joy.
As she was finishing up the lesson, she noticed a shocking notification from the system amongst the generated Love Points.
468 Love Points from Peter Aronakis
688 Love Points from Li An Yue
999 Hatred Points from David Moreno
Kristine frowned, wondering what the hell her brother was doing to David. She quickly excused herself from her students and rushed out of the room, determined to stop whatever her brother was doing. She quickly sent Christopher a telepathic message, asking him what he was doing.
Christopher's smug reply came back almost immediately. "I'm farming Hatred Points," he said. "And thanks to you, I found an excellent source.”
Kristine knew instantly what Christopher was doing and sent another message. “Stop this right now. This is really fucked up." But there was no reply.
She raced through the school hallway until she finally found Christopher. He was using his Muay Thai skills to brutalize David in front of a crowd of students. Chris was easily dodging David's unskillful attacks. His head weaved with grace and precision as he avoided each attack and countered with a quick jab.
The fight was one-sided, with Christopher landing punch after punch on David's face. His face was a sight to behold. One of his eyes was swollen shut and his nose was dripping with blood.
Without hesitation, Kristine pushed her way through the crowd, determined to stop the fight and save David from further harm.
"Chris, what the fuck is wrong with you!" Kristine shouted, without a care for her image.
She was angry at Christopher for pulling this stunt and she wasn't going to hold back anymore. She launched a high kick toward Christopher's face, ignoring the fact that she was wearing a skirt.
Christopher was a little surprised by the sudden attack but it wasn't anything he couldn't handle.
"What are you talking about?" Christopher caught her foot and continued acting. "He's just a loser who thought he can win you over with his brains. I wanted to stop him from bothering you."
“That is fucking bullshit!” Kristine exclaimed, trying to free her foot from his grasp. She knew that Christopher was lying and that David was not that type of person.
After she spoke, the crowd exploded. They were shocked by Kristine's use of profanity. They had never heard her speak like this before, and they couldn’t help but stare in shock.
A few students already had their phones out and recorded the scene. It was unusual to hear such language from the normally gentle Kris.
Christopher noticed a school staff member pushing their way through the crowd and knew that this play of his was over. He released Kristine's foot and walked away.
Kristine glared at her brother as he walked away. She couldn't believe that he had used such a method to farm Hatred points. It was sick, twisted, and honestly a pretty fucked up thing to do.
She sighed and shook her head, knowing that she was going to have to have a serious talk with her brother after this.
