"Are you ready, Kris?" Christopher said as he closed the system menu. He locked eyes with his twin sister, who stood opposite him. The two had just graduated from middle school and were now back at their family's luxurious estate. They had already changed out of their graduation gowns and into their training attire, ready to spar.

Christopher was dressed in a pair of black shorts, the fabric hugging his toned legs tightly. His chest was bare and his muscles rippled, as he eagerly waited to put their newly maxed Muay Thai skills to the test. Kristine wore a sleek black sports singlet and matching shorts, and stepped forward to meet him. Her own muscles were taut and toned, although they were lacking the definition of her brother's physique. Both siblings wore red gloves and headgear. Their servants and parents would never allow them to engage in sparring without proper protective gear.

Kristine nodded as she raised her arms and gloved hands in a Muay Thai stance, knees bent and ready to move. Christopher mirrored her as the two began to circle each other.

She began, lunging forward with her fists flying toward Christopher's face. He deftly dodged her strikes and threw out a front kick in retaliation. It missed.

Christopher's larger frame and longer reach allowed him to keep his sister at distance with his punches and kicks. But Kristine's agility and speed made it difficult for him to connect.

The twin continued to spar with all their might, their bodies glistening with sweat from the intense exertion as their servants and family staff looked on. The servants who were watching them couldn't help but be impressed by the twins' martial prowess, especially Kristine's. They recalled how skeptical and worried they were when Kristine first expressed her desire to learn combat from her brother.

They were well aware of how talented their young master Christopher was at fighting, as attested by the numerous trainers and coaches the family had hired. However, they were surprised to discover that their young miss possessed the same aptitude for combat. They continued watching in awe as the siblings fought on, demonstrating a level of expertise that was unusual for their young age.

Christopher's muscles bulged with each combination, his fists, elbows, feet, and knees moving with deadly precision. Kristine, though not as heavily muscled as her brother, was no less fierce. Her movements were quick and agile, her strikes aimed at her brother's vital spots at where they would do the most damage.

Thanks to the knowledge from the system, the vulnerable spots on each other's bodies were as clear as day. It was almost as if they were being illuminated and highlighted in their minds as they fought.

Soon Kristine's muscles began to burn with fatigue and her movements were becoming slower and less precise. She began to show signs of exhaustion first due to a lack of conditioning in comparison to her brother. Despite this, she was still unwilling to give up.

"Come on, Kris, you can do better than that!" Christopher taunted as he dodged another one of Kristine's sluggish punches.

Kristine gritted her teeth, determined to wipe the smug look off his face. She had been training hard these past few months, and she had improved a lot but it still didn't amount to much. Her brother has been training in combat since the day they obtained the Muay Thai skills from the system.

"Shut up," Kristine yelled with anger as she aimed a lightning-fast inner leg kick toward her brother's lower quad.

Christopher lifted his leg, blocking her kick with ease. He was ever vigilant as his gaze was locked onto his sister's. He could see the determination in her eyes, and he knew it would be foolish to underestimate her.

"Nice try," Christopher complimented before he stepped in and countered with a powerful right hook.

Kristine was stuck square in the temple with her headgear absorbing some of the force. It was still enough to send her crashing to the matted floor.

She hit the mat face-first with a dull thud, the noise echoing through the gym.

Kristine was done. Christopher's last strike had drained the rest of her stamina, leaving her exhausted.

She rolled onto her back and lay there for a moment. Her chest rose and fell with each labored breath, and her clothes were stuck to the sweat on her skin. Her muscles ached and her vision was blurry as her sweat-drenched blond hair covered her eyes like a veil.

"Good job," Christopher said as he walked over. He was proud of her improvement, and he knew that their next sparring session would be even more intense. He offered his sister a hand to help her up.

Kristine took his hand and pulled herself up. "I'll get you next time," she smiled, as she and Christopher shared a brief hug.

Garrett observed as his children engaged in their sparring match. He had just arrived home with bags full of graduation gifts. He set the bags down, his attention fully captured by the display before him. As he watched, he couldn't help but be impressed by Kristine's skill in Muay Thai, which was on par with her brother's. He had always known about Christopher's impressive fighting abilities, having received praise from numerous trainers and coaches over the years. But Kristine was a different story. When he had heard whispers from the servants about her newfound talent for martial arts, he brushed it off as an exaggeration. But now, he was left speechless after seeing it with his own eyes.

Both of his children exuded an air of lethality. He also couldn't help but wonder where they had learned Muay Thai, given that Thailand had been destroyed by Psi-beasts many years ago. Maybe they had learned it from the internet?

Suddenly, Christopher found an opening and delivered a powerful right hook, sending Kristine crashing to the mat. Garrett started but quickly regained his composure. They were wearing protective gear after all.

He couldn't help but feel proud as he watched them end the spar and hugged each other. He began to clap loudly, the noise echoing through the gym. It only then did his children and servants realized that he had been watching them all along.

"Dad!" Kristine exclaimed as she hugged him tightly, not caring about her sweat-coated body. Christopher was right behind her but refrained from hugging him as he was still sweating and shirtless.

"How was it? Wasn't I awesome?" she asked with puppy dog eyes. "Can I go to military school now?"

Garrett resisted her daughter's puppy dog eyes. He couldn't deny that she had grown stronger and more capable but he still refused her request. He placed a hand on her shoulder. "I'm sorry dear, but my answer is still no. Your martial arts won't be of much use in military school. The new military school will have Psions, and it's too dangerous for you. And some of them come from forces or families that don't like me very much," he said, trying to scare his daughter into giving up.

Kristine's face fell when she heard her father's words. But she didn't let it get to her for long. Instead, she quickly began to brainstorm a new plan. Her plan of learning martial arts didn't work. She knew she had to think fast and come up with something that would persuade her father to change his mind.

She scoured her mind for any possible solution, any idea that would give her the edge she needed. And then it hit her. She had a sudden inspiration, a sure-fire method that would get her into the military school. She had a determined look on her face as she began to put her plan into action.

"But Christopher and I have Psion powers too!" Kristine lied, pretending that her system was actually Psionic powers. She knew it was a risky move, but she believed that it was the only way to convince her father to let her attend military school.

She felt this was a brilliant idea. They could pretend the abilities they obtained from the Devil and Angel system were actually Psionic abilities.

Christopher was stunned by Kristine's statement. He had always been hesitant about revealing their powers to their father because they were different from natural Psionic abilities. He was not confident that he would be able to hide the true origins of their powers.

Especially in front of their father who possessed the Psionic ability to read minds and emotions through touch. He remembered the shock both of them felt when their driver Mr. Daniels revealed their father's Psionic ability to them. It was a frightening ability, and he could understand why his father had been promoted to general. He was grateful that their father respected their privacy and never used his ability on them. But he didn't know if there was a threshold to his respect for their privacy.

Suddenly, Christopher watched in shock as his father lunged forward and clamped his hand firmly on Kristine's wrist. A faint blue aura was emanating from his hand.
