After finishing their meal, they both exited the house. Now it was Rehaan's turn to drive, with Tevin sitting beside him. Tevin was already in a bad mood before today's meeting with his parents, and he wasn't happy about how it went. As they drove, Rehaan noticed Tevin's unhappy face. He took a quick look outside, flicked on the left turn signal, and pulled the car over to the side of the road.
"Why did you stop the car, Rehaan?" Tevin asked.
"I have something to take care of here. Just wait for me, I'll be back soon," Rehaan explained.
"Hmm," Tevin responded with a pouty face. "Hurry back, okay?"
Rehaan nodded and disappeared. Tevin waited in the car, turning on some music to try and improve his mood. After a while, Rehaan returned. Tevin spotted him and smiled, getting back into the vehicle. Rehaan had a small package in his hand.
"You took forever to come back," Tevin said with a smile.
"Hmm... the line was really long," Rehaan replied.
"For what?" Tevin asked.
Rehaan handed Tevin the package, and Tevin took it in his hands.
"What's this?" Tevin questioned.
"Open it and you'll find out," Rehaan said.
Tevin eagerly opened the package and his face lit up when he saw what was inside. "Roast chicken!" he exclaimed. "Is this for me?"
"Hmm... it's all for you. Extra crispy fried chicken, your favourite," Rehaan confirmed.
Tevin's face brightened even more as he turned to Rehaan. "Thank you so much, baby."
Rehaan tries to comfort Tevin, "I understand you were upset about your parents forgetting your favourite food and making something you dislike. Just give them some time to get to know you better. I'm confident things will improve. Trust me."
Tevin questions, "But what if they never really understand my preferences?"
"Stay positive, Tevin," Rehaan encourages. Tevin's smile fades once more. Rehaan then takes Tevin's right hand, holding it firmly.

"If your parents don't change, I'll step in and cook your favourite meal for you. I might not know how to make everything, but I'll learn. And if I can't learn, we can always go shopping like we did today" Rehaan reassures.
Really? Tevin asks
"Yes," he replies.
"I promise," Rehaan says, raising his hand and pointing his Pinky finger towards Tevin. Tevin places his Pinky finger on his finger and promises.
"Hmm," Rehaan says. "In return, I want to see your smile."
"For my smile, you will do anything?" Tevin asks.
Rehaan nods. Tevin smiles.
Tevin grabs Rehaan's hand and pushes him towards Tevin, giving a peck kiss on his lips.
Rehaan is surprised. "We are outside, Tevin. What if people see us?" he says.
"So what, no one is around," Tevin says with a smirk.
"So what?" Rehaan asks.
"Oh, I was kissing my boyfriend. Do you have any problem?" Tevin says.
"Is that what you call a kiss?" Rehaan says, grabbing Tevin's collar and moving closer to him, kissing deeper on the lips. Rehaan kisses deeper and deeper whenever he moves his lower lips. They both don't want to stop. Both their bodies heat up. Tevin stops kissing and moves back. "We should go home, Rehaan," Tevin says.
Rehaan looks confused. "What happened? Did I hurt you, Tevin?" he asks.
"Nope, I'm just hungry," he says, touching Rehaan's shoulder. "And I think before eating this crispy chicken, I need to eat something much tastier than that." Tevin looks at him with his flirty eyes.
Rehaan smiles. Tevin takes his hand and says, "What do you say, Rehaan?"
"As you say. I also wanted to unwrap that" Rehaan replies.
"Then... what are you waiting for?" Tevin smiles and says. Rehaan playfully winks his eye and starts the engine.
The car set off on a long journey of two beautiful souls.
