The very next day, Rehaan and Tevin decided to visit Tevin's house. Even though Rehaan had been to his house multiple times before, this time was different. It had been a while since their last visit, and Rehaan was feeling a bit nervous entering as Tevin's lover. On top of that, Tevin's father had never been fond of Rehaan.
As the clock struck 11:00, Rehaan and Tevin arrived at the house, both dressed in matching outfits. Rehaan wore a brown pant with a black t-shirt, while Tevin sported a black pant with a brown t-shirt. They made their way towards the house, with Tevin having already informed his mother about their arrival. Tevin rang the doorbell, and his mother warmly welcomed him upon seeing him. Tevin and Rehaan entered the house, noticing a change in his mother's behaviour. It felt a bit strange to Tevin, as he had never seen her so calm before. His father was waiting for them in the living room, and they both joined him there.
When his father saw Tevin, he greeted him with a big smile, but his expression turned slightly surprised upon seeing Rehaan. "I didn't expect Rehaan to be with you, son"- his father said, putting on a smile and continuing, "But it's alright. You both come and sit here."
Rehaan felt a bit embarrassed and glanced at Tevin. Tevin motioned for him to sit beside him, so he followed and took a seat across from his father.

"Rehaan, how are you, son?" Mother walked in and asked.
Rehaan smiled and replied, "I'm fine aunty".
"We're sorry, Rehaan, we didn't know you were coming too. We could have prepared your favourites". she said.
"No worries, aunty. I'm good with whatever Tevin likes"- he said suddenly. Tevin looked surprised at Rehaan, who realized what he had just said and blushed at his own words. The room fell silent.
Tevin's mother approached him and said, "Tevin, are you hungry, son? Let's eat first. Your mother prepared all your favourite food."
She took Tevin's hand and said, "Come, dear. Let's eat." Then she turned to Rehaan and said, "Come, Rehaan, let's eat together." Rehaan smiled and nodded in agreement. Tevin followed his mother to the dinner table, with Rehaan sitting beside him.
Tevin, your favourite paneer dish Mother said, as his mother served, Rehaan knows that Tevin didn't like paneer. He didn't want to spoil the day, so he remained silent.
Paneer is dad's favourite Tevin thought to himself, feeling disappointed by his parents behaviour. 'They still didn't know my likes and dislikes'. Tevin put his hands on his thighs, lips drawn tightly.
"Thanks, ma," Tevin said.
Rehaan put down his hands and held Tevin's hand, gesturing for him to stay calm. Tevin only hoped that his family would accept Rehaan.
