Rehaan froze for a moment, his face turning red as he tried to process what had just happened. Tevin's lips were still lingering on his when he finally pushed him away, wiping his mouth in anger. He stood up abruptly.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" Rehaan demanded, his hand still touching his lips.
"Rehaan, please, let me explain," Tevin pleaded as he also got up.
"Explain? What's there to explain?" Rehaan questioned, his voice filled with hurt.
"It was a mistake, a moment of weakness. I didn't mean to hurt you," Tevin tried to clarify.
"You didn't mean it? Really, Tevin?" Rehaan's eyes welled up with tears. "Why are you doing this to me?" He asked, his voice breaking.
“Rehaan, I apologize for the pain I caused you. I...” He approaches Rehaan and gently grasps his hands. "I find it difficult to find the right words to console others, you know that about me."
"If you struggle with comforting, then just leave me alone." Rehaan retorts, forcefully pushing Tevin's hands away and heading towards the door.
"Rehaan, I... I love you," Tevin confesses, his voice barely above a whisper as he lowers his head.
"What!" Rehaan stops in his tracks, turning to face Tevin. "What did you just say?"
Tevin steps closer to Rehaan, taking hold of his hand and pulling him closer. "I understand it may be hard to believe, but please trust me. I truly do love you." Rehaan is taken aback, his gaze fixed on Tevin.

"You love me?" Rehaan tugs at Tevin's hand. "If you truly loved me, you wouldn't have hurt me like that before."
"I am sorry, but my love for you is genuine, Rehaan."
Tevin, you've fallen in love with me. Should I be thrilled now? Answer me," he says.
"Rehaan, I understand that you don't have faith in me. But can you please consider giving me a second chance? I am willing to go to great lengths for you," Tevin pleads.
Rehaan gazes at Tevin. "Truly, anything you're willing to do?"
"Hmm...anything. I give you my word," Tevin assures.
"In that case, just leave me be. I no longer wish to be near you. I cannot bear the thought of being hurt again," Rehaan declares as he exits the room and slams the door behind him.
Rehaan descended the stairs and entered the hall. Maahi and Sam were seated on the sofa, awaiting their arrival. Rehaan approached Maahi.
"Maahi, it's time to head home," he stated.
Maahi remained silent. She noticed Tevin approaching Rehaan.
"Let's leave, Maahi," he repeated.
"What's wrong, brother?" she inquired.
"I ALREADY TOLD YOU TO LEAVE," Rehaan yelled.
Tevin came closer to Rehaan. "Rehaan, please don't go. Allow me to explain."
"Wait, brother," Maahi uttered, halting Rehaan in his tracks. "I apologize," she confessed.
Rehaan pivoted, his gaze fixated on Maahi. "Why are you saying sorry?" he inquired.
"Brother, it's not Tevin's fault. It's mine. I was the one who desired for you two to reconcile," she admitted, her eyes locked with Rehaan's. "I know you were a couple, and you..."
"What did you just say?" he interjected, cutting her off. "Tevin and I were a couple? Did Tevin tell you this?"
"No, I overheard your conversation with mother the first time we met Tevin. And I stumbled upon an old photograph of the two of you. So, it was quite evident that you were indeed a couple," she explained.
"Maahi, please stop," Rehaan pleaded. "I thought you wanted me to befriend him because he was your idol. But I never imagined that you both had planned something like this," he expressed, his gaze shifting towards Tevin. "We are not lovers."
"But the way you both..." Maahi began.
"Maahi, I already told you we were never a thing," he interrupted, turning towards her and grasping her hand. "Maahi, let's just leave."
"Rehaan, please, I need to talk..." Tevin interjected, gripping his hands.
"Tevin, just let me go," Rehaan declared, turning around and delivering a forceful smack to Tevin's face. Tevin staggered backward, his cheek stinging from the impact. The pain mirrored the ache in his heart as he desperately tried to hold back tears.
