Sam and Tevin at their current house
Sam and Tevin share a house together. Tevin bought the house and they decided to live together. They have a bond like real brothers.
"Hey Tevin, I need to apologize for lying to you," Sam admits.
"It's alright. But why did you go along with it? Did something happen?" Tevin asks.
"Well, she said she would consider being with us if we both made up with her brother," Sam explains.
"Oh really? That's great," Tevin responds, pausing for a moment. "Anyway, thanks for making the effort."
"Please don't mention this deal to Rehaan," Sam requests.
"He already..." Tevin pauses, walking over to sit on the sofa. "Okay, I won't. I'll make good use of the time." Tevin wanted to tell the truth, but he was afraid of disappointing Sam and losing the chance to meet Rehaan.
Sam nods and sits down next to Tevin.
"Tevin, why did you two break up?" Sam asks.
"We... it's a long story. But just remember, I was being a jerk at that time," Tevin admits, getting up.
The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
"I'm going to freshen up. We have practice this evening," Tevin informs.
"Aren't you tired? We had a long day, Tevin," Sam questions.
"I am tired, but if I rest, I'm scared I'll fail. I don't want to, and you know why," Tevin replies.
"Hmm, don't push yourself too hard. Remember what happened to you," Sam warns.
Tevin nods. "I know, my friend. I'll go now." Tevin says as he rushes to the bathroom. He undresses and turns on the shower for a hot bath. Water drips from his body.
"Rehaan, I won't let you slip away this time. I don't want to lose you too," Tevin whispers, rubbing his face. "I couldn't say it today, but I've missed you so much."
Tevin closes the tap and dries his body with a towel. He changes into a black leather jacket, a white t-shirt, and black biker jeans. He leaves his hair to air dry and exits the dressing room. He grabs his bike gloves and puts them on. He then turns and takes his guitar before walking out of the room.
Sam was busy working on his computer when he suddenly paused upon hearing Tevin's footsteps.
"Tevin, did you dry your hair?" Sam asked.
"Haha, I forgot," Tevin replied, rubbing his hair and causing water droplets to fall.
"Make sure to dry it before you leave, Tevin. Otherwise, you might catch a cold," Sam advised.
"I won't. Don't you know who I am? I'm the rock star Tevin," Tevin confidently declared.
"I know, but you should also remember that you're still human," Sam warned.
"Hmm, but I'm so... so happy today, Sam. Nothing can harm me," Tevin said with a smile.
"Are you happy because of Rehaan?" Sam inquired.
Tevin didn't answer and simply walked away, saying, "I'll go then. Bye!" He waved, still wearing a smile.
"Hmm, take care," Sam replied, waving back.
Tevin opened the main door and disappeared. Sam smiled to himself, thinking, "It's the first time I've seen you smile like that, Tevin. And I know the reason. I promise to keep that smile on your face. I was being a jerk, using you for winning Mahi. But now, I'll do something for you, Tevin." He picked up his phone and left a message for Maahi...
