Chapter 5 : Jotaro Kujo

Chapter 5 : Jotaro Kujo

The moment the man, Jotaro Kujo, approached the alleyway, Diana knew it, and how could she not?

Even if she didn't have her enhanced vampire senses, Diana would have known that Jotaro, that hateful being who had killed her father had come here.

Even without her senses, Diana felt it, felt the connection their bodies had, the same bloodline flowing through their veins.

Staring at the three men on the ground, Diana couldn't help but touch the back of her left shoulder.

'I need to get out of here, otherwise, they might find me,' thought Diana as she continued staring at the two Joestars, as well as at Yoshikage Kira, who was just about to die.

Although in her haste, Diana was somewhat sloppy, with the entirety of his internal organs destroyed, Yoshikage did not have even a single chance at life.

Suddenly, Diana's expression changed, as she stared at the stand which had just appeared behind the young boy with the pompadour, which was now touching the soon-to-be corpse of Yoshikage Kira.

...

Quickly Jotaro ran through the alley, occasionally turning his head, staring in the smaller alleys, making sure that the killer had not run far away.

'This may be our only chance to catch the killer which plagued Morioh,' thought Jotaro, as suddenly, a weird feeling overcame him, calling out to him.

Without any warning, Jotaro raised his head, staring at the top of the building in front of him, ignoring the sun which shone straight into his eyes.

Up there, on top of the building, Jotaro had seen something, a small part of something, of a person.

Without any warning, Jotaro's left leg suddenly became purple for a moment, as the latter then performed a standing jump, sending him flying over ten meters into the air.

After only a few more jumps, Jotaro was at the top of the building, staring at the empty space in front of him.

"That felt, familiar," mumbled Jotaro, staring at the empty space in front of him, frowning.

Although Jotaro could not place his finger on it, something, something here felt extremely familiar to the Marine Biologist.

But as time passed, the feeling began fading, leaving Jotaro standing on the roof alone, feeling a little lost.

...

The moment Jotaro began searching for the killer Josuke took action, as Crazy Diamond suddenly appeared behind him, quickly moving in front of him a moment later, touching the body of the man lying on the ground.

As soon as Crazy Diamon touched the body, Josuke's expression suddenly shifted, causing a stupified expression to appear on his face.

But even so, he quickly took action, healing the body of the man up to tip-top shape.

...

'Ugly,' this was the first thought of Yoshikage Kira as he opened his eyes, staring straight at the pompadour of the man above him.

Of course, soon after, more complicated thoughts appeared in Kira's mind.

'Was he the one who saved me? The friend of that brat Shugekiyo?' thought Kira as he stared at Josuke, who was above him.

At the same time, remembering how that woman had ambushed him from the top of a building not long ago, Kira's attention couldn't help but turn to them once again.

As he was on the ground, Kira was more than easily able to see the top of the building, or at least the edges, all except for one, one blocked by the ugly pompadour of a teenager.

...

Seeing that the man on the ground was slowly but surely regaining his senses, Josuke slightly smiled.

"Can you understand me?!" asked Josuke in a slightly loud voice, breaking the man out of his trance, and causing an extremely confused expression to appear on his face.

"What happe-"

Although the wanted to shout, sadly, Josuke blocked off his mouth with his hand, not allowing him to.

"Don't talk," said Josuke, noticing that the man did not seem to be aggressive, merely staring at the sky, as such, Josuke slowly released his hold on him.

"Sir, are you fine?" asked Josuke, causing a confused expression to appear on the face of the man.

"I gue-ss so," said the man, slightly shivering whilst staying on the ground.

"So, what happened to you?" asked Josuke as he looked at the man, causing the latter's expression to suddenly change.

But although fear seemingly filled the man up, he did not falter, continuing on as he opened his mouth.

"I was just walking down the street when suddenly I felt pain in my chest, and before I could do anything else other than look, I fell on the ground, feeling something stabbing me from behind, that's why I shouted," said the man, causing Josuke to frown.

"So, did you notice anything important?" asked Josuke as he stared at the man, causing him to slightly hesitate for a few moments before responding.

"I don't know how important this information is, but when I fell down backward, I think I saw some blond hair," said the man, causing the face of Jataro, who had just approached, to change.

Seeing Jotaro arrive, Josuke turned his attention away from the man and onto him.

"Mr. Jotaro, have you found anything?" asked Josuke, causing Jotaro to shake his head.

"No, it looks like the killer escaped, but how were the wounds on this person's body?" asked Jotaro as he walked beside Josuke, frowning.

"Although he looked relatively fine from the outside, all of his major organs were nearly completely fried, he should be thankful he was still alive, otherwise nothing in the world would have been able to save him," said Josuke, causing Jotaro to nod.

"It seems as though this is not our killer, it looks like we have to investigate both of them now," said Jotaro as he turned his attention to the fainted man on the ground.

...

Inside of a certain room in the Morioh Grand Hotel,

"Josuke Higashikata, that healing ability could be troublesome," mumbled Diana as she used her fingers to cut off the scar tissue on her neck, which had remained there since she had been wounded by that random stand.
