Chapter 15.2 : Report

Chapter 15.2 : Report

One week later,

As he stared at the report in his hands, a large frown hung over Amaya Minori's face.

"This is going to be really troublesome," mumbled Minori as she touched his chin whilst continuing to read his emote.

Hearing this, neither the man standing next to Minori, nor Minori's assistant said anything, as they merely stared at him, waiting for him to speak.

Finally, after a few minutes of thought, Minori turned to the man standing nearby.

"Can you be one hundred percent sure that the DNA test was accurate?" asked Minori, causing the man to nod.

"Yes, the test is one hundred percent accurate, Jotaro Joestar has been in that coffin at one point or another, that's for sure," said the man, causing Minori to nod.

"Very well then, If you need anything else, I'm sure that you will be able to contact me using the phone number I have provided," said Minori as he looked at the man with a calm, but rather cold look in his eyes.

Seeing this, the man couldn't help but unconsciously lower his eyes.

"Yea, that's a good an idea, I shouldn't disturb you any longer," said the man before quickly bolting out of the room.

As he stared at the departing back of the man, Minori shook his head before turning his attention back to the report in his hands.

Back whilst he had been reading the report, he had noticed something rather suspicious, which had attracted his attention.

'Although the coffin shows signs of tempering from the outside, only Jotaro Joestar's DNA was found on the coffin'.

"It couldn't have been someone using protective gear, but even so, they didn't leave any DNA evidence behind," mumbled Minori with a rather huge frown on his face.

As one would expect, although someone can protect themselves from leaving behind their DNA using special suits, even these suits were extremely imperfect.

As such, the Speedwagon foundation would be able to quickly find the perpetrator if they had been just doing something like that.

"Another stand user, how annoying," mumbled Minor as she sat back down on his seat, not even thinking about the possibility that the person who had dug out Jotaro was the same person who had buried him.

After a few moments, Minori couldn't help but turn towards his assistant, who was sitting on a chair nearby, doing paperwork.

"Make me a list of murders that happened in high risk areas over the past seven days," said Minori as he looked at his assistant, causing the latter to nod.

"Including right now?" asked the assistant, causing Minori to nod.

"Including right now and whatever you find before the list is finished," said Minori as he once again began burying himself into his paperwork, unaware of the rather interesting things that were happening all around him.

...

As he stared at Asato, who was lying on a hospital bed, a huge smile couldn't help but appear on Kou's face.

"Twenty million yen for a week of work, In a single week of work I made more than in the past five years," mumbled Amano as he looked at his comrades, a rather huge smile visible on his face.

Although nearly nothing for the Speedwagon foundation, especially for the extremely important task of finding Jotaro's body, the trio of friends was very satisfied with the reward, and would do pretty much anything to manage to obtain a job like this once again.

Sadly, though, nobody is able to find a job like commonly.

"I'm going to save some of that twenty million to use it in case something happens," said Kou, causing a faint look of surprise to appear on the faces of Amano and Asato.

"You are actually doing something smart, I didn't expect to see something like this my entire life," mumbled Asato, who was currently bed-bound as he stared Kou.

Hearing these words, Amano couldn't help but nod in agreement.

"That is indeed very true," mumbled Amano as she nodded and agreed with his friend.

Just as Kou was about to speak up and say something, all three of the friends stopped, as they heard a knock from the door.

"You can come in," said Asato as he looked at the door, as well as at the person that had walked in.

Doctor James, an extremely reputable doctor that had been hired by the Speedwagon Foundation to take care and monitor Asato, and to make sure that nothing bad had happened to him.

"I'm going to have checked out your friends' leg, could you place go to the side?" asked James, causing the two to nod.

"We wanted to leave anyway, we won't stay here any longer and disturb your check-up," said Amaya before quickly walking out of the room and leaving Doctor James to do his work.

In what seemed like just a few moments, James had untied Asato's leg and had though roughly examined it.

"Based on my experience, it looks as though you are healing rather normally, and although the process I not too fast, you should be able to heal your leg in about three more weeks," said James, causing Asato to freeze for a moment.

"But if you want to, I can go and do an even more thorough examination of your leg, completed with an x-ray," said James as he looked at Asato.

After a few moments of hesitation, Asato nodded.

"I feel excellent, I don't need any more examinations for now," said Asato as he looked at the rather old doctor.

Hearing this, a faint smile appeared on James' face.

"I understand, by now you should know who to contact if you ever need anything in the slightest," said James before walking out of the room and leaving Asato behind.

...

As he walked through the hallways of the hospital, a rather serene smile appeared on James' face, when suddenly, another figure appeared next to him.

In the blink of an eye, a golden arrow had been stabbing into James neck.

Instantly, James fell to the ground, dead.

"Another useless trash," mumbled the man before walking into a wall, leaving the dead body behind.
