Chapter 11.3 : The End?

Chapter 11.3 : The End?

As he looked at the stairs below him, Joseph took in a deep breath as he moved his hand forward.

One step after another, Joseph moved his hands, which were coated by a golden light, forward and down the stairs, holding up his body with them.

Every time Joseph moved his body, his hands would shake, threatening to give up, as the fragile bones inside of them creaked.

But even so, Joseph himself did not give up, as he moved forward, and down the staircase.

By the time Joseph had reached the halfway mark between the third and second floor, he had already lost nearly all of his strength, when suddenly, his eyes brightened.

"You two there, I need your help!!" said Joseph, causing two men, who were just about to go into the second floor to stop in their tracks.

...

As he looked at the cave around him, which had clearly not been formed naturally, a faint frown appeared on Jotaro's face.

From what Jotaro could see, this cave had been dug out not too long ago in fact, probably by the person in front of him, or her helpers.

Without any warning, Jotaro suddenly moved to the side, as a golden hand suddenly emerged from the ground, causing the entire cave to suddenly shake.

Thankfully though, the moment the hand emerged from the ground, star platinum took action, blocking it from reaching Jotaro.

Only a fraction of a moment later, the owner of that hand was suddenly revealed, as a golden stand suddenly burst through the rock next to Diana.

As she looked at Jotaro, as well as at Star Platinum, a faint smile appeared on Diana's face.

"Tempo Symphony, it's time to end this," mumbled Diana, causing the golden stand next to her, 'Tempo Symphony' to take action.

Without wasting any time, Tempo Symphony suddenly jumped toward Star Platinum, letting out a flurry of punches toward the purple-blue stand, causing it to retaliate in the same fashion, letting out a flurry of even more powerful punches.

Suddenly, Star Platinum retreated, letting Tempo Symphony get a few good punches in on it's body.

Just a fraction of a moment before that, seven zombies suddenly leaped out of the hole that Tempo Symphony had created not long ago, jumping toward Jotaro.

In only a fraction of a moment, Star Platinum appeared, smashing the seven zombies to bits in seven punches.

Although the zombies were much more powerful than normal humans, they did nothing more than distract Star Platinum from the true danger, as they were far too weak to be of any use.

'As expected, the zombies were useless in a battle against a truly powerful stand user,' thought Diana, but even so, a faint smile still appeared on her face as she looked at the scene in front of her.

Even though it had been distracted for a little bit, causing its advantage to be lost, Star Platinum was physically more powerful, as well as faster than Tempo Symphony, allowing it to quickly gain back its advantage.

Every single moment, Star Platinum pushed back against Tempo Symphony, making it retreat further and further toward Diana.

Nevertheless, as he looked at the smile on the face of his opponent, a feeling of faint dread appeared in Jotaro's mind.

After over a minute of non-stop fighting, Star Platinum had gotten rather close to Diana, so much so that if Jotaro used Time-Stop, he could probably reach her, but even so, a heavy look was present on his face.

As he looked at the smile on the face of his opponent, a single thought went through Jotaro's mind.

She's baiting me to use Time-Stop.

Although Jotaro did not know what trap his opponent had planned for him, he knew that one existed.

Suddenly, for only a quarter of a second, time stopped.

The moment time stopped, the floor, which both Diana and Jotaro were standing on, started moving, causing both of them to move as well.

Thankfully, before the floor could fully collapse, time began moving as well, giving Diana back control over the floor.

After Jotaro let time continue once again, he did not have much time to think, as Tempo Symphony which was just getting beaten up by Star Platinum, suddenly sped up.

In only a fraction of a moment, Tempo Symphony sped up seven times, becoming overwhelmingly fast, allowing it to easily begin overwhelming Star Platinum.

Looking at the Tempo Symphony, which was moving about, easily dodging Star Platinum's punches, Jotaro grits his teeth, as he began having Star Platinum move forward, towards his opponent.

With every single step he took, Jotaro felt extreme pain throughout his body, as the attacks of Tempo Symphony battered Star Platinum.

Thankfully though, Star Platinum was extraordinarily resilient, otherwise, Jotaro would be dead by now.

At the same time, as Star Platinum pushed Tempo Symphony back towards Diana, who was in a corner, it limited the space the latter could use for moving, allowing it to get some hits in as well.

Of course, even now, a faint smile still lingered on Diana's face.

"So Jotaro, how are you feeling you feeling, as you approach your impending doom?" asked Diana as she looked at Jotaro.

"Are you feeling we-"

Without any warning, blood suddenly began seeping out of Diana's mouth, causing Tempo Symphony's speed to suddenly double.

Not giving Star Platinum any time to react, Tempo Symphony used it's, by now, insane speed to try to restrain Star Platinum.

Of course, Star Platinum only needed around one second to break free, but sadly, Jotaro did not have this one second, as Diana suddenly leaped towards him, two sonic booms behind her.

'The movement wasn't caused by the floor,' this was the only thought in Jotaro's mind as he stared at the scene in front of him, realizing how he had been tricked.

Remembering how Diana had slightly moved whilst time was stopped, something which he had thought was caused by the movement of the floor, Jotaro felt a weird feeling emerge within him.

'She used the movement of the floor to mask her own inherent movements from me,' thought Jotaro.

"I was tricked," mumbled Jotaro as Diana's hand suddenly pierced through the left side of his chest, whilst time was still stopped.

Just as Star Platinum was about to break free from Tempo Symphony, Diana suddenly ripped Jotaro's body into two pieces, causing it to freeze in place.
