Chapter 28.4 : Peak

Chapter 28.4 : Peak

Extremely quickly, Joseph's eyes moved all around his office, making sure that the person in front of him was the only one in here.

Thankfully though, this seemed to be the case, allowing Joseph to suddenly leap towards Diana at a speed far beyond what his old age should have allowed him to have, making Diana faintly smile.

Just as Joseph's fist, which was coated with hamon, was about to smash against Diana's face, Diana disappeared.

"I admire your spirit old man, not many people are able to keep themselves in just a good shape at your age," said Diana from behind Joseph, with that same smile still present on her face.

Although Diana had learned from her father's mistakes, and didn't usually toy with her food, right now, she was in quite a good mood.

But even though he had heard Diana's words, Joseph did not seem to have any care in the world, as he once again jumped towards her and let out a hamon coated punch.

Seeing this, Diana couldn't help but shake her head.

'A light kick shouldn't kill him,' thought Diana before raising her leg and sending Joseph flying.

Thankfully, though, Joseph was far more resilient than even Diana had expected, allowing him to quickly rise from the ground and try to battle her once again.

Diana then repeated this cycle of dodging and sending Joseph flying a few more times, when suddenly, Joseph had enough.

No, it was not that Joseph had given up, in fact, he had finally found his opportunity, causing flames and liquid metal to erupt all around Diana, pouring onto her skin and causing her to faintly frown.

Before Joseph could see the effects of his sneak attack, Diana's still hot fist suddenly hit him right in the face.

"As expected of a Joestar, if you were facing a normal vampire, this should have been enough to at least seriously incapacitate them, you were very prepared," said Diana as approached Joseph, who was down on the floor.

"I sincerely appreciate your spirit, If you didn't intervene in my plans I would have spared you, but sadly it seems like you Joestars really can't keep your noses out of other people's business," said Diana whilst grabbing the old man by his neck and raising him from the ground.

A moment later, Diana's hand suddenly smashed through the chest of the old man, causing her to drop him to the floor and begin walking away with a smile on her face.

If you come across this story on Amazon, it's taken without permission from the author. Report it.

But after just walking for a few meters, Diana suddenly stopped.

At this very moment, the door to the room was suddenly opened, allowing a teen with a very ugly haircut, at least in Diana's opinion, to walk in.

The instant Josuke saw his father laying on the floor, struggling for his life, he ignored anything else and suddenly jumped towards him alongside Crazy Diamond, completely ignoring the other person in the room, who simply stared at the scene in front of her without doing anything.

Seeing this scene, Diana couldn't help but feel faintly touched.

"As expected, the love between father and son is one of the strongest forces in the world..." mumbled Diana whilst letting out a loud sigh, causing both Josuke, and the healed Joseph, to look at her.

Just as Diana was about to once again attack the two, though, Josuke suddenly spoke up.

"You can't kill us just yet!!" said Josuke, causing Diana to faintly frown, her foot near the face of the teen, having just been prepared to blow his head off his body.

"And why is that?" asked Diana, causing Josuke to continue.

"There's actually two reasons why you can't," continued Josuke.

"Firstly, if you kill us, you wil-"

Right in the middle of his sentence, Josuke, as well as over twenty other people, all stand users, took action and attacked Diana.

'If those abilities hit me, it could spell a bit of trouble,' thought Diana as she stared at the attacks coming her way.

But even so, Diana stood completely still, seemingly ignoring them.

And then, when the attacks were just around twenty centimeters away from her, and it seemed as though she could not escape, Diana suddenly disappeared.

Three seconds then passed, causing every attack to then miss, causing Diana to suddenly reappear.

The moment Diana reappeared, though, the attackers no longer had any chance to do anything, as both Diana and Tempo Symphony killed all of them before they could even realize that she had reappeared.

Compared to before Diana's absorption of the Red Stone of Aja, Tempo Symphony now looked nearly completely different, with only it's golden color being similar to its past self.

This left only Diana, Josuke and Joseph alive as well as an awkward silence filling the room, which was now also filled with corpses.

"You know, taking advantage of my carelessness and arrogance was quite a good plan, the best option you had in fact, if not for some things outside your control you might have been able to kill me as well, as expected of one of the Joestars, you guys never really disappoint, leaving you guys alive just for some fun is really tempting," mumbled Diana as she looked at the two.

But before they could respond, Diana's foot suddenly smashed through Josuke's head, causing his brain to fly across the room.

A moment later, Diana picked up the old Joseph.

"I guess this is our goodbye, old man," said Diana.

...

Russia, unknown location.

Hundreds of mangled corpses littered the scene, some holding weapons in their hands, while others were simply defenceless, but at the center of all of this carnage stood eight men kneeling on the ground, blood flowing over their bodies.

Next to these men, stood a 'human', as well as a stand.

As the men kneeling on the ground caught glimpses of their captor, who did not have any sort of skin in the slightest, and was composed of pure muscles, they couldn't help but shake.

Next to this man stood a stand, also without any sort of skin.

"As expected, a bunch of trash," mumbled Mikhail with an angry look on his 'face'.
