As he stared at John, who was sitting in front of him with a ball gag in his mouth, Bucks gritted his teeth before beginning to bandage what remained of his arm whilst they moved inside a truck.
A moment later, another man, Ian, suddenly walked up to the two, causing Bucks to go to the side and allow the latter to do his work.
Unlike Bucks, Steve and John, who had combat related stands, Ian was much more suited to a supporting role, because of this, he spent much less time on fighting and used it to train his first aid, medical knowledge and other things that could help the group complete their missions successfully.
A similar situation happened with May, who also played a supporting role to the three fighters, and was currently driving the truck the five of them were in.
A moment later, Steve, who was previously sitting in a corner of the trailer tinkering with something, got up from his seat and walked up to the three whilst holding a syringe in his hands.
Extremely quickly, Ian grabbed the morphine syringe and injected it into one of John's veins, causing a look of relief to quickly appear on his face.
Seeing that John's pain was temporarily relieved, Ian faintly nodded before turning to the other two men.
"I will make sure that his bleeding has stopped, the doctor on the plane should be able to take it from here," said Ian before turning his attention back towards John, as he then began carefully bandaging what remained of his arm.
A moment later, a female voice suddenly resounded from the front of the truck they were in.
"We're arriving at the airport, we need to get the hell away from this place as soon as possible, I have a vague feeling this place will soon be crawling with soldiers, wouldn't want to be seen here," said May as she slowed down the truck.
...
As he stared at the Russian soil, which was getting further and further away from him as the private jet rose up from the ground, Ian, who had been feeling tense up until now, couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief, as a large weight seemed to be taken off his shoulders.
At this moment, the group had escaped the brunt of the danger, as the chance for their plane to be intercepted was quite low for now.

Even though he knew that the Russians would realize something was wrong with this plane in just a few hours, by then, the five should have hopefully already arrived in Hawaii, where a plane to the US mainland awaited them.
But even though all of them had escaped Russia with their lives, none of the four members of the group seemed to be happy in the slightest, especially Ian, who had the ability to save John from this danger if he was just a tiny bit faster.
"I'm sorry, If I was just a bit faster, John wouldn't have had to have lost his arm..." said Ian as he looked at the rest of the group, causing them to instantly shake their heads.
But before anyone else from the group could speak, Bucks quickly responded.
"You don't have to worry so much, I know that If I were in your position I would be even slower," said Bucks as he got up from his seat and patted Ian on his shoulder.
"That's right, I'm sure that John himself doesn't blame you as well, the situation really changed too fast, one second we were extremely close to succeeding, another we were nearing death," said May as she shook her head, causing Ian to breathe another sigh of relief.
But before Ian could respond, Steve, who had not spoken up until now, suddenly dropped a bombshell.
"I'm abandoning the mission," said Steve, causing May to suddenly rise from her seat with an enraged expression on her face.
"We put so many resources into this, and were so close to succeeding, how would you explain giving up so early to John?!" asked May as she controlled herself to make sure that she didn't go over to Steve and try to teach him a lesson.
"May, don't let your emotions control you, even though it was relatively easy to get into Russia this time, I'm sure you know that the situation will soon change," said Steve.
"Yea but..."
"You bash your head into a wall once, and only get a small concussion, would you do it again? We have to cut our losses, I'm sure that John understands that best," said Steve as he looked at the rest of the group, causing a silence to ensue.
"That's true, going back to that place would be suicidal," said John as he walked into the cabin of the plane, causing all the eyes to turn to him.
But the moment he looked at John's arm, which had been amputated up to his shoulder, Ian immediately froze.
Seeing this, John shook his head.
"You don't have to worry, there is a reason why I fully amputated it and didn't try to use a partially mechanical hand, I know just the guy to help me, don't worry," said John, Ian to suddenly smile, for the first time since the assassination attempt.
Seeing this, John quickly smiled as well before beginning to speak.
...
As he finished listening to John's words, Steve couldn't help but fall into thought as well.
"Do you think it's really hopeless?" asked Steve.
Even though Steve had talked about abandoning the mission, he still held a little bit of hope in the back of his mind that they would be able to do it.
"Abandoning the mission is the best idea, even if we somehow manage to get to her, I have a faint feeling that things won't go so well as they did in our last fight," said John, causing Steve to suddenly become a little confused.
"Is there a reason?"
"Just my intuition," said John.
