Chapter 23 : Discovery

Chapter 23 : Discovery

After returning to the military base and healing her wounds with Shinohara Haru's help, Diana no longer left the military base, perhaps out of a fear that she would be assassinated once again, or perhaps fearing that something would happen to Jotaro whilst she was away from the military base.

But either way, for the two months that it had taken Haru to completely heal Jotaro's wounds, Diana stayed in the military base and did three things.

Firstly, Diana needed to regularly take care of the documents and reports that had piled up for her.

Thankfully, Diana had subordinates that could help her deal with the less important documents.

But although this still took quite a bit of time, even with the extra help, the actual bulk of her time was spent on points two and three.

Secondly, Diana spent a huge amount of her day fighting and training her fighting skills.

Even though Diana had an extremely powerful physical body and had fought quite a bit throughout her youth, which had allowed her to build up her fighting skills, her skills still paled in comparison to those of some of the extremely experienced soldiers and mercenaries.

Of course, this only applied to the beginning of the two months, as after some time, even whilst restraining her strength to the level of a normal human, Diana was able to defeat all of her most experienced soldiers.

By the end of the two months, though, Diana was able to defeat five soldiers whilst restraining her strength even further below that of a normal human.

Even though Diana did not know how useful this would truly be in a battle of stand users, it still felt extremely great to see your skills progress with your own eyes.

Lastly, Diana trained her ability to look all around her and predict any danger, as well as react to any danger in time.

To train this, Diana trained alongside some former KGB spies, who had to always be extremely careful about their surroundings, lest they be revealed and captured.

In truth, Diana did this so that she could avoid situations like her last assassination from happening again.

Right now, Diana did not know how successful her training was in doing so, but at the moment, she had to turn her attention to something else.

...

As she approached Jotaro, whose mouth had been gagged, whilst his body had been tied up and sedated, a faint smile appeared on Diana's face.

"It looks like he still caused you some trouble, even in this state," mumbled Diana as she looked at Andropov, as well as at the several soldiers, who were standing next to Jotaro.

At the moment, Andropov's left arm was tied up after being broken, as he had no time to go to Haru to ask for treatment.

"Yes Lady Diana, even whilst he was being restrained and weakened, the subject caused a lot of trouble, if not for the fact that I was a stand user, I don't think we could have kept him in here," said Andropov, causing Diana to let out a slight chuckle.

"It's a good thing that his stand had been weakened after he was transformed into a zombie, then," mumbled Diana as she looked at Andropov with a slight smile on her face.

As soon as he heard the words of Lady Diana, Andropov couldn't help but suddenly freeze, for a few moments.

"I see, that's good," said Andropov as he dropped the topic, no longer desiring to compare his fragile self to the likes of Lady Diana and the person tied to this table.

"Andropov, you can take your men and go back to your normal duties, I can handle things around here," said Diana, causing Andropov to breathe a silent sigh of relief before nodding.

"Understood Lady Diana," said Andropov before walking out of the room followed by his men.

Diana then turned her attention back onto Jotaro, who was currently unconscious, causing her to suddenly smile and place her fingers onto his face.

Usually, Diana did not have the ability to read minds very well, but thanks to the fact that Jotaro had been transformed into a zombie, she was able to quickly and thoroughly read his mind.

As she went through Jotaro's memories, a slightly complicated look appeared on Diana's face, especially as she watched over a certain part.

But after finishing reading those memories, a faint smile could still be seen on Diana's face.

Contrary to Diana's expectation's, the contents of her father's notebook were not the thing that truly interested her at the moment, as they only seemingly contained the acts necessary to achieve Heaven.

Rather, Diana was much more interested in something else, something that Jotaro had heard about from his grandfather, Joseph.

"That could prove quite handy," mumbled Diana as she took her hands off Jotaro's head and stared at him, thinking about what to do with him.

After a few moments of hesitation, Diana suddenly sent her fingers into Jotaro's left arm, taking out the sedative that had been injected into his body.

Not long after that, Jotaro's eyes popped open.

A moment after that, Jotaro's stand suddenly appeared next to him, causing Diana to suddenly smile, as Tempo Symphony grabbed the neck of Star Platinum.

"Jotaro, you've weakened after becoming a zombie, you aren't my match, don't try anything," said Diana, causing Jotaro to finally recognize her.

Even so, Jotaro did not seem to want to listen, as time suddenly slowed down, causing a faint smile to appear on Diana's face.

"I told you to stop struggling," said Diana, causing Tempo Symphony to suddenly kick Star Platinum in the stomach.

The instant that happened, Jotaro froze and began gasping, causing Diana to smile.

"Jotaro, as a reward for our past battle, I will allow you to choose your fate, you can either serve me or I can put you out of your misery, as I know you probably despise your current state," said Diana as she moved her nails alongside Jotaro's face.

"You will go to hell..."

"Sorry Jotaro, I don't plan to," said Diana as she suddenly grabbed Jotaro's head and crushed it into her palm, causing it to suddenly splatter all over.

A bit of blood even landed on Diana's lips, causing her to lick them before nodding.

"As expected of a Joestar, even as a zombie, the taste of your blood is still so delightful," mumbled Diana as she allowed the crushed mess of what was once Jotaro's head to fall to the floor.
