Well, there are a few items left from the ganking. The longsword and war hammer are only three kilos together and might be useful in the dungeon soon. The rat tails didn't grab the thugs' eyes either, and they ended up in the inventory again without thinking.
That should be the first thing to look up on the marketplace.
How much has their price changed since midnight? The search yields results before the bottom of the stairs, and the square ahead is eerie quiet. While the minimap shows some people nearby, the gankers aren't here.
The clutter disappeared in the last half an hour too, at least someone cleaned up after them. They might return soon, so lowering the guard would be stupid before entering that vault. This sounds all kinds of wrong since that place should be way more dangerous than them.
"Thirty-three coppers?!" The tails don't disappoint. "Wow."
Who would stay online all night to adjust the prices, and at such huge increments too? It was twenty at the last visit, already double what they paid earlier, while the guild offered five. The ratting quests are gone, but who thought the effect would be so immediate?
What the hell do they need those things for anyway? There are twenty of them in the inventory and loads more in the stash, so there's no reason to complain. Houses rush by, as the avatar makes its way for the eastern spawn points.
When will it feel like it's me, and not a puppet under my control?
It might be the lowered pain levels, and why the Wrodditors didn't recommend turning it off. No matter how immersive the experience is, being in this body still feels strange. It's often hard to tell who's thoughts are inside this head too, though that could be me being weird.
Okay, focus on the task at hand. What else is there to sell? The bandit's bows and swords might be a rarity, though if people don't post a buy order for them, it won't matter. Please appear on the site, or they'll be no more than useless lumps of metal.

"Oh, what the fuck?" The offers in Origin are all over the place.
The site refreshes in real-time, tracking recent changes, and it's like a roller-coaster. With the huge percent increases and drops in the last ten minutes, the ganking fucked this place up hard. If they flood the place with cheap looted items that could work to my advantage.
The starter village was so overpriced, but now they even undercut the Taji Market. Of course, some items are either unaffected, or armor is even more expensive than before. Those don't seem to drop from combat so the gankers couldn't get any.
Ugh, let's hope that glitchy merchant still has that cheap set.
Well, that fifteen gold or whatever is still over the current budget. The stash has seven golds and eight silvers in it. A few crystals that aren't worth much, and many rat tails that still won't make me rich. All that would pay eleven gold in the Pharmacy, if the prices stay the same.
And this temporary drop will be gone once the players return after the initial shock and try to buy new gear. It's all the more reason to hurry up and take advantage of it while it lasts. There are new buy orders too, it's the first that someone has offered money for bandit swords.
"Ten gold for each?" Okay, that's more than expected.
And these are buy prices, not sell. Their bows only go for three, though that's still way higher than earlier. The lock could fetch a nice sum, except it's not in demand, and it's the same for that green-marked sword. Nobody seems to even think about them.
Holy shit, and that sword with the plus-eight median is crazy. According to the site, it has a d12+3 damage roll. These use the dexterity stat instead of regular blades that get a bonus from strength. So that's why they are all level-locked? It would sell for two hundred gold in Taji.
That could pay for most of the gear, though it'd be a shame to sell.
The shield won't fetch a high price and it's too heavy to bring back. Some extra daggers remained from earlier, but the guide warns everyone to take at least one with them. They don't weigh much and are the fastest weapons out there.
[It's nice to have a two-handed axe or a greatsword to fight the boss. Good luck with that when facing swarms of enemies though. Always have a backup dagger or two for each party member. Think of the goblins in 'Dragon's Hoard' or the Death Rats in 'Laboratory of Madness'.]

How much equipment does this expedition need? There are five different themes for the Cursed Dungeon, and he lists the optimal gear for each. Of course, since they are random, you must take them all, or pick weapons that could work in each setup.
It's a tricky one because specialized gear can be expensive already. Take an item that is good at everything, and the price will increase. And if it's a jack of all trades, the efficiency will be worse in the specialized tasks. Sometimes it's better to buy cheaper weapons for every situation.
Except weight is a consideration too. Argh, why is it so difficult?
[Never go over the forty-kilo limit, if you have to bail, you must run fast. You have to think twice before starting to loot during solo runs too, no matter how tempting. I tend to buy the cheapest gear for stuff only needed on one theme, and drop them at the start.]
Yeah, after experimenting with different jogging speeds and weights, this is a no-brainer. And it doesn't matter what I end up buying, everything in the inventory will be gone forever anyway. You can only return from the dungeon after clearing the boss room, and it's impossible.
This means there is no reason to buy those expensive two-handed weapons either. That's a few kilo minus, and lots of gold coins less. See? This is why it's important to understand the guide, rather than to follow it without thinking.
