Rivers and Roads

Rivers and Roads

My father built roads, all along the mountain,

The sheep, they know how to do the walking,

As a shepherd, your job,

Is to keep them on the path,

It’s not hard, but in the world,

If you spot this story on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.

There’s much more than that,

There are snakes, foxes, and wolves,

These proud beasts, walk a different road,

All the lovely hens, just want to lay their eggs,

The delightful bunnies, they hide and they multiply,

When they’re eaten,

They’re quite accepting,

Such is nature, and the way of the world,

But each life,

Has its way to survive,

We dance and we fight,

We don’t want to be monsters,

But we must all live,

We must feed,

The river flows,

And the fire continues burning…
