Life is scary, my thoughts are obscured, I don’t know where I'm going, all I've ever wanted was a road to walk on, the world and its story, all the sweet children, the rivers flowing, I'm glad that I exist, monsters and demons, hide in the distance, wait in the shadows, so many predators, wolves, looking for children to swallow, survive, survive, become educated, bite, struggle, fight, we have to make it through some way, even if it’s ugly, incorrect thinking, heaven and hell, again and again, it’s the reality we’re stuck with, but alas, such is life, like a worm, I try, wriggle and squirm, but I can’t quite get it right, do less, keep it simple, the birds and the beasts get fed, but when the sun shines, we get hungry, backed into the corner, this wolf, push too far and it will bite, freedom may seem obvious, but trust me, you’ll want to color within the lines…
