Bruised

We used to follow every whim and fancy, we used to be in love, my god, the emotions, it was a flood, it was carved into us, who we are, as above so below, the vast expanse of the heavens, and their greatness, they showed us, what it meant to be human, but now I just seek to pass, I don’t want love, and I don’t want bonus points, so many scars, such painful emotions, it wrenched my heart, I just skip along, follow the rhythm of the song, mouth the words, do my part, but for the love of god, beauty and art, architecture and fate, I can’t stand to look at it, just stab me in the heart, and defile my dead body, it’s what I wish for me, a leviathan, whining.
