When the river is too strong, you build a dam, you redirect it, you’re given a choice, between poverty and violence, or perversion and lust, everything is measured, the magick that flows through us, is what the world owes us, barriers and tribulations, you can never look directly at it, our place is decided, in many ways, how much money do you have, you can spend it on much, but does food still have taste, work hard and earn it, sweat, blood, and tears, what decides heaven and hell, our love, our fears, so many crossed boundaries, take your first kill, it’s a rite of passage, don’t look down on it, bloody blade in hand, your ancestors are smiling, when it gets too hot, and the world is burning, sacrifice a virgin, to the sun god, pray for rain, for release, that someone did a good thing, we’re all given a choice, did we get to eat, or did we do the right thing, these questions, they hurt, but it’s what we have inherited, walk along the path, will you settle by the river, we just need to be satisfied right, or do we keep going, your inner child is watching, he hates you so much, we want to be righteous, but alas, we can’t have everything…
