Old Dragon
The heavens reveal who we are, but do they care, is there grace, consideration, for who we want to be, do the heavens have a plan for me, they allow our dreams, make us pay with our nightmares, the ocean depths go deep, we’re all wolves, beasts, some are just learning, what a man can be, under this skin, are scales, my horns are hiding, but in truth, I just want to be human, alas, the world is greater than me, the children have such wild dreams, I intend to work for a living, I'm curious, what they'll grow up to be, will they be good, or will they be just like me.
