Can god truly love us, I don’t know, I've seen him do so much for people, he has a love for children, for innocence, when they make mistakes, the path to correction, is easy, like a river flowing into a lake, his love for them is contained, so much magic in the world, the candle you light, the lines you cross, there is payment, required, for all of it, but for the innocent, the heavens provide them with a way out, can god love us, maybe, but he can also resent us, for eating too much, for tasting lovely fruit, the juice and secretion of worms, he can damn us to hell, and wait, for us to come crawling back to him, begging him, for a renewed spirit, or a virgin, a feast, stamp once, in the next life, stamp twice, doomed to be dirt, for the rest of my life.
