Happy Ending
It’s easier to be pulled along, strings on a puppet, it makes the most sense for me, I hardly do anything willfully, my feelings guide me to the next action, sometimes oh so forcefully, unbearable love, the righteous wrath of god, all because, as I walk this road, the future looked back, and its how it remembers me, this life was hardly chosen, but its here, like the cold hard ground, and it only goes one direction, if it was all forgotten, destroyed, and consumed by the river, a giant fallen, and eaten by the daring, a hoard of treasure, that was inherited, it would allow me some satisfaction, but this road has always been here, how the branch reached for the sun, now it simply remains, till it bears the fruit it is dreaming of, my only hope is that my spirit moves along, finds a new life, a new road to discover, walk to the horizon, and live happily ever after, ages pass, and whatever composes me, forgets all about this place, next, next, another battle to face…
