"We plan to first disguise ourselves as mercenaries from the human continent to get into the Capital, then sneak into the City through the gap in defenses."
"And where is the gap?"
"Underground."
"Underground? How will we get under the Castle?"
"Luna will use her black holes to dig underneath," Seifer explained.
"But wouldn't that make a lot of noise?"
"No, her ability absorbs anything it touches without making a sound."
"Oh, I see."
"I'll explain further when we get into the Capital."
Seifer walked away from Arthur, leaving him alone in the training yard. Suddenly Arthur's head felt like it imploded. "ARGH!". He grabbed his head in pain, trying to figure out what could do this to him, but just as he thought the pain would subside he heard a voice. "What are you doing Arthur? Wasn't your plan to kill the Demon King and the Woman who killed your parents?". Arthur desperately looked around searching for the voice.
"SHOW YOURSELF!"
"I already am." Arthur still searching around unsheathed his sword.
"Stop playing around."
"I'm you, Arthur," The Voice said.
"What nonsense are you talking about?"
"Let me show you." Arthur's world started distorting and turning, and when it stopped everything was white and a single man stood in front of him. That man was Arthur, a replica of him. "This is the world the Eye of Ugallu has shoved me into, and left you a husk of your former self." Arthur was struggling to grasp this whole concept, he tried walking back but realized there was nowhere he could go to escape this place. "Only you can pull me out of this world."
"Why would I do that?" Frowning the Replica answered him. "Because without me you'll kill everyone and anything you've ever cared for. You have already joined the Demon Army, how long do you think it will be until they force you to kill the Human Continent?"
"After killing the Dwarf king I would assume they would want us to go after the Human King."
"Correct, and you don't want that. The current you might not realize it yet but you care for the Human Continent."
"You keep telling me I'm supposed to care for the Humans and not listen to the Demons but I have no desire to do anything you say." Arthur said nonchalantly
"Mhm, yes currently you don't have any emotions or feel any connections to your past. Which in turn makes you a loyal servant for the Demon King, this is troubling." The Voice told Arthur.
The story has been illicitly taken; should you find it on Amazon, report the infringement.
"I guess you're correct but what's the difference in me following the Demon King instead of the Human King? They have the same goal."
"The simple answer would be that you are a Human and not a Demon. But I could already see that it won't convince you, maybe waiting for the effects of the Eye to dissipate and then trying to convince you again might work."
"So you'll force me back into your world after a few months?"
"Preferably weeks but if it takes months or even years then so be it. That's all I wanted to tell you, I had to test the water you know?" Before Arthur could answer he was back in the training ground. He walked back to his quarters deep in thought, wondering what the hell just happened to him.

Luna, Seifer, and Arthur walked to the portal that connected the Demon Realm to Akippe, already having prepared for the venture. They decided that after Luna made the tunnel underneath the Castle she would retreat out of the Continent since she wouldn't be able to fight in the Castle without drawing attention to them. Which left Seifer and Arthur to kill the King before they were spotted. It was the most simple plan they could come up with, with the least amount of things that could go wrong.
They walked through the portal getting sent somewhere to the right of the Dwarf Capital. The Demon King said that the travel time between their current location and the Capital should be three days if they made haste, which meant that they immediately had to start jogging toward the Capital.
Three days later they stood in front of the gates all of them dressed with hoods to cover their face and robes.
"Identity and reason for being here!" The guard yelled at them.
"James, Charles, and Olivia," Seifer said pointing toward each of us. "We're mercenary's on business here."
"I see, alright pay 2 Riel then you can enter."
"Thanks." Seifer handed them 2 Riel and they all walked in. They were hastily making their way through the city, Seifer told them that they should start mining the tunnel behind the Castle walls since that should be the least guarded. Quickly getting behind the Castle walls, they first scouted the area to make sure no one would see them before Luna started using black holes to blast through the ground. It took them a few hours to get into the correct position before getting out of the tunnel in the backside of the Castle.
"Alright, I'll be going back now, I'll meet you east of the Dwarf continent." Luna Whispered.
"Get going then Luna." Seifer whispered back.
Arthur and Seifer crept through the dark corridors of the Dwarf castle, avoiding the torches and the patrols. They had infiltrated the fortress under the cover of night. They reached the royal wing, where the King's quarters were located. They saw two guards standing outside the door, armed with axes and helmets. Arthur signaled to Seifer, who nodded. They split up and approached the guards from behind, using their swords to slit their throats. The guards fell to the ground without a sound.
Arthur and Seifer quickly dragged the bodies into a nearby closet and locked it. They wiped their blades and put on the guards' helmets. They knocked on the door and pretended to be the guards.
"Your Majesty, we have an urgent message for you," Arthur said in a low voice.
"Come in," a gruff voice replied.
Arthur and Seifer opened the door and entered the room. They saw the King sitting on his bed, wearing a nightgown and a crown. He was short and looked old and tired, with a long beard and a scarred face.
"What is it?" he asked.
Arthur didn't answer and used a flash step to close the distance instantly, stabbing him in the chest and the throat. The King gasped and choked on his own blood. He tried to reach for his sword, but it was too late. He fell back on his bed, dead. Arthur and Seifer searched the room for any documents or valuables. They found a map of the war plans, a gold necklace, and a ring with the royal seal. They pocketed them and left the room, closing the door behind them.
They ran back to the exit, leaving the castle. They heard shouts coming from the Castle in the distance as the guards tried searching for the killers of the King. They had completed their mission. They had killed the Dwarf King.
