"We should get going before the Demon King realizes what we did," Arthur said

"I agree" Luna agreed

They had decided to get to the Human Continent and introduce Luna and her cause to The King before uniting all the races under one army and defeating the Demon King's army. It sounded simple but it was anything but simple. Arthur estimated it would take them a week to get there maybe less if they optimized Luna's teleportation and Arthur's high speed and flash step.

Arthur decided it would be best if they conserved Luna's mana in case something in the Human Capital went wrong. He believed he could get the First Knight on his side but he didn't know the king that well, considering that they would have to tell them about what happened to Michael and Scarlett we might just be banished if they think were lying or spies sent from the Demon Realm.

They were attacked by Stone Golems twice on their journey but easily killed them since the Golems weren't even close to the skill level of Luna and Arthur. The few times they were attacked only slowed them down for a few minutes so they made it to the capital unharmed and in five days since killing Scarlett and Michael.

"You look human enough so you won't need to hide." Luna gave him a bit of a glare at that but Arthur just shrugged. "Don't glare at me like that. We should make it into the Castle if they hear my name since I've probably been thought dead all this time."

"Were you an important figure?"

"No, but I was tutored by the First Knight himself." She looked confused at that. "The First Knight is considered the best fighter in the capital by many and equivalent to your war general in power if I had to guess."

"That makes sense. Do you think we'd beat him?"

"I don't know, he never showed me his full strength."

"Then take a guess." She insisted.

"Fine, I guess he would be somewhere in the same skill range as Scarlett and Michael since they were two of the most powerful mages in the kingdom so with that in mind you and I both should be able to beat him. It's only a guess though so do not take it seriously and DON'T take antagonize him."

"Now why would I do such a thing?" Arthur just ignored her comment and went into the Capital after paying the entrance fee. they got to the Castle after some people were giving Luna a bit of a weird stare but nothing that would harm or slow them down.

"Your name and reason for entrance!" The guard screamed at them once more.

"Arthur Gresly and Luna... uhh what's your surname?" He whispered to Luna

"Common Demons don't have surnames."

"Well ok then, only Luna for her." He turned back to the guard. "we're here to see the King on suspicious demon activity"

"I'll go inform the King of your arrival and reason for being here. Please wait here." Arthur nodded and turned back to Luna.

"We should go clean ourselves up before heading in. I know where a barber and clothing shop is."

"I don't need it." Arthur gave her a skeptical look before urging her to follow.

"Just do it, the king might be entranced by your beauty." The comment made Luna blush a bit and hit him over the head. "Ouch."

"Fine let's get going."

They were walking through the city at a steady pace since the guard would not be back for the next hour or so. First going to the barber and getting a proper haircut, Arthur got a basic buzz cut while Luna got her hair cut a bit shorter than styled into a curled plait.

"That looks good on you," Arthur said seeing her for the first time after the barber. "Somehow it fits you, but don't take my word for it since I'm not the most fashionable person around."

"I won't take the compliment to heart, don't worry, you don't seem like the person to know a lot about different hairstyles."

"Well then let's go get new robes," Arthur suggested.

Arthur and Luna quickly went shopping for new robes and both got basic brown robes. Making their way back to the Castle since it's been an hour and a half since leaving the place. They saw the guard waiting for them when they got there.

"The King wants to meet with you immediately." The same guard as before informed them. "follow me please." Arthur took in the familiar surroundings almost forgetting the reason for coming here, the place wasn't as grand as the Demon Castle or as beautiful as the Elf Castle but it had a familiarity that attracted him to the place, it was these people who took care of him when his parents died. It was here where he learned to become competent with the sword.

"You seem euphoric, something important happens here?"

"Have you heard of the Massacre committed by the Demon Queen and her forces here about 14 months ago? Arthur answered with a question.

"I have, it's a widely celebrated day in the Demon Realm."

"Tsk, Of course it is. Well anyway, that day was when my parents and best friend were killed. I was taken care of here in this Castle and trained under the First Knight."

"I see that makes a lot of sense but we should continue this conversation later i think we've arrived in the throne room."

"I guess your right" Arthur locked eyes with the King knowing this would be hell to explain to him.
