The King almost jumped out of his seat upon seeing Arthur. "Is it really you Arthur!?" The King asked
"Yes, Your Majesty. I am Arthur Gresly the person sent by you to the Demon Realm with Scarlett, Michael, and Eldarion."
"So it really is you. What happened in there, Scarlett and Michael said you were killed right in front of them." Arthur scowled at the mention of those two.
"Those two betrayed me and killed Eldarion. They incapacitated me and gave me to the Demon King for his experiments, which gave me this eye." Arthur followed by pointing towards the black eye. "It has the power to stop time depending but I didn't have any time to test this out for myself as of yet." He prepared himself for the next piece of information. "Me and my companion here were also the ones who killed Scarlett and Michael." Arthur threw Scarlett's head onto the ground, it landed with a loud THUMP.
"You...you killed them?" The King asked more to himself than anyone else, he had a hint of confusion on his face before everything started making sense to him. "They betrayed us for demon contracts?" Arthur was shocked he got to the conclusion that fast. "I've suspected something for a while now so need to act so surprised, Arthur. You killing them means you're quite the powerhouse, I would like you to spar with the First Knight."
"Right now, sir? I'm sorry but we had a long journey and I'm still exhausted from the fight with Scarlett that happened four days ago."
"No, of course not right now but in a week. For now, we still have stuff to discuss. The first is who you're friend under the hood is, do you mind them taking off their hood?"
"I do not mind, Sir but her safety has to be promised before she does that." The King raised his eyebrow but promised anyway.
"She was the one who helped you kill Scarlett and Michael, yes?" Arthur nodded. "then she's an ally to us." Following that Luna took off her hood to introduce herself. There were a few gasps as the nobles in the room realized she was a Demon.
"My name is Luna Nameless. My goal in teaming up with you is simple, Sire." She said politely. "I want to kill the Demon King and take his throne."
"Oh, is that so? That's a big goal little Demon, but if Arthur trusts you enough to allow you to stand beside him I do not have any objections, but I do have one request."

"What is it, Your Majesty?"
"I want to have peace after this war, which means peace with the Demons and all the other races."
Smiling Luna answered. "I had the same thought, Sire." They smiled and shook hands.
"That out of the way, I still have more to discuss with you, Arthur." Suddenly out of his throne and trying to stab Arthur with a pocket knife. Arthur blocked, confusion written all over his face. "Good just testing your skill." He returned to his throne leaving a very confused Arthur in his wake. "Back on a serious note, I want to discuss our military forces. Perhaps you know how many soldiers the Demon King has at his disposal?"
"I counted 200,000 in the capital alone. With three more cities around the Capital, my estimated guess would be around 280,000 - 300,000 soldiers."
"I figured as such. We're severely lacking in numbers, the whole of the human continent has a total of 80,000 total soldiers. If we could make the three other races join forces that number could equal that of the Demon King's army, but the problem is uniting the races under one army, they certainly would not believe that the War is incoming, excluding the Dwarfs. The Dwarfs have already agreed to help us."
"I was planning on uniting the races on my own but if you could make the Elves join us, Me and Luna will go and try to convince the Orcs. How does that sound, Your Majesty?"
"Are you sure you want to go after the Orcs alone? They are widely known for being uncooperative."
"Yes, Sir, I have connections there that will make the negotiations move smoother than otherwise."
"That sounds like a plan then, Arthur, but for now prepare to fight the First Knight. Oh and because of the War efforts, we only have one room spare in the castle." The King winked at Arthur.
"Uh, Sir?"
"There's two beds of course so don't worry and lots of space."
"Uhm I'll just go to an inn just outside the Castle."
"I insist that you stay here." Arthur slowly turned to face Luna searching for help, but she agreed that staying at the Castle would be more efficient. 'I can't believe this.' They started walking towards their room when Arthur was stopped by the First Knight. He told Luna to go ahead.
"Hi Sir, How's it going?"
"Well the war is pretty annoying but everything else is going well." He said in a matter-of-fact tone.
"I see but I guess you didn't just stop me to have a chat about the good old times did you?"
"No, in fact, I have something important to discuss with you."
"Continue." Arthur requested.
"Can you tell me your Gifts?" Now Arthur was very confused, why would the First Knight ask such a private question, he knew that The First Knight told him about his Gift of speed but he also told the Knight about his Gift so it was a trade-off of sorts.
"No, I cannot do that Sir, were in war times anyone could be listening in or be able to read minds or something more absurd than that. So I will not reveal anything that might give the Demons an advantage in this war."
"That's a pity, well that was all I wanted, Goodbye now, and sleep tight." Arthur shrugged off the inquiry as curiosity and moved on.
