He is stuck within a almost empty white room. There was a podium in the middle of the room. On this was a black book. On the cover of this book, there was unreadable text.
The inside of the book itself was entirely blank.
There was actually a door in this room. It was pure black, just like the book.
Visdre had tried everything to leave this room. He tried to exit through the door. He tried flipping through the book... but it was useless.
There was no escape.
So he expected this dream every night and it was a constant in his life.
He tried to make sense of the title of the book. But he couldn't comprehend it.
Luckily... the dream wasn't too long, otherwise, he would go insane.
Visdre had one hobby in life. This was what kept him going. He loved to live out stories through reading webnovels.
He didn't have the best comprehension or the fastest reading speed. But he found comfort in this hobby of his.
It was the source of his motivation.
An accident in the womb left his brain under developed. Despite his best efforts... he struggled even with his hobby. He could barely visualize the words he read. But he found the process of reading fun.
His IQ was tested to only be 70.
He barely graduated highschool even with assistance.
If his hobby wasn't reading webnovels. He never would've even accomplished that.
He found that with each new book. His understanding of the world deepened ever so slightly. Despite his intelligence being low. He knew he could still accumulate knowledge.

He quite liked the advertisments on this site as they were rather unique.
This advertisment just said three words:

He didn't think anything of this and even thought the advertisement was a little underwhelming.
There wasn't just these three words. There was also three circles. For a split second, he thought he saw the circles turn white.
"Must be a gif..."
He clicked next chapter and forgot all about this ad.
But the next time he slept...
His dream had changed!
The book cover title that was originally unreadable.
It read three words!

Visdre thought he had seen this somewhere. He opened up the book, but it was still blank. He then remembered!
"That ad!"
Upon having this realization. He woke up immediately.
He turned on his computer and went to the site he always used.
He couldn't find the advertisement out of the lot.
But he had an idea...

For some reason. His breathing had become rapid and his heart was pounding madly. His hands were shaking as he moved the mouse and scrolled down.
He saw the first chapter said 'Hidden Chapter'
He clicked it and the chapter appeared.

His browser then closed before he could read it.
"What? What happened?"
He assumed this was just a normal browser crash. He opened up his browser and restored his tabs. But the hidden chapter.
It was gone!
He looked at his browser history and there was proof that he had visited the page. He entered the url into his browser.

The page refreshed by itself and he was back at the main page. He checked his browser history again to try his luck. But it appeared that he had never visited "Path of Somnus: God's Death" at all.
He was feeling a bit paranoid and tired. But he wouldn't be able to sleep with this weird mystery in the back of his mind. So he typed in "Path of Somnus" again into the search bar.
The book was there... but even he remembered something had changed.
