The concepts that had their sources mainly made up of the wood element. They can be described in a few words. Those being, curious and motivated. Like a trees roots, their will is to grow something over a long period of time. They have an advantage in terms of cultivation.
When it comes to repetitive action. Their personality is a step ahead.
The concepts that had their sources mainly made up of the fire element. They can be described as passionate. This passion is like a flickering flame of joy. They live in the moment and aren't so great at thinking ahead.
When it comes bravery. Their personality is a step ahead.
The concepts that had their sources mainly made up of the earth element. They can be described as honest, but with an inner turmoil that leads to anxiety. They balance themselves by planning ahead for the future.
When it comes to strategy. Their personality is a step ahead.
The concepts that had their sources mainly made up of the metal element. They can be described as sharp and intuitive. They won't hesitate to kill. Their battle sense is on another level.
When it comes to fighting. Their personality is a step ahead.
The concepts that had their sources mainly made up of the water element. They can be described cautious and resourceful. They accumulate wisdom faster then others and rely on their wit.
When it comes to wisdom. Their personality is a step ahead.
No single concept's source is made up of a single element. So their personality is a mixture of these characteristics. You can think of the source almost like the DNA of these entities. The environment and how they grow up will also affect how they develop.
But concepts spend ALL of their lifespan sleeping if they don't wake up.
If they are able to wake up. They will become immortal. But they will retain their source and spiritual roots. They will first have to shed their mortal coil and go through a redesign of their body. Making a body that they are satisfied with.
There were currently a hundred concepts sleeping in 'Universe #01'.
You can consider a concept having two birth dates. The moment their source forms and the moment they wake up and grow their law into their source. The difference is that when they are first born. A part of the world will and the elements create their source.
The source they start with is limited and has a timer before it fizzles out.
They then go through rebirth like a phoenix and restructure their source again. This concentrates their spiritual roots, sea of consciousness, spiritual vision, and dantian. This is also a crucial process and decides the base look of their body.
Before they wake up. You can see traces of them aging from youth to elderly. But their body is destroyed at the critical moment of waking up. This is how they become true concepts. They also get to name themselves.

TS: Year 879, Day 50;
01 was floating in the sky. They were still sleeping. The waves of chaos from their dreams weren't even causing fluctuations in the elements anymore. The maximum capacity of what this universe could hold had been reached.
What exactly did a blank existence dream of? Well, it wasn't entirely blank. There was contamination of memories from the world will. The world will's thinking was incredibly simple. But the memories were not. Somnus had fused with Visdre and gained fragments of memories from the souls of the players. Even though he tricked Visdre into converting his core memories into dream force. The fragments from the players had partially survived.
This meant that there were scenarios and things they dreamed about that didn't exist in 'Universe #01'.

01 was the first concept born. It had been dreaming for over 800 years. During these years it had developed an ego and identity. Whether it is male or female doesn't really matter as concepts give birth to more concepts through chaos.
They don't reproduce sexually. Male and female is just meant to describe their appearance. Somnus was just familiar with humanity and felt it was better concepts be more like humans then an eldritch horror like what he had become.
Their bodies will be more limited then an eldritch one. Their thinking won't transcend time. This meant he would have more control over them.

Ping's POV(01):
A blackhole was spinning in front of her. She traveled to the center of it. Passing through the event horizon without even getting stretched from the gravity! Just what was she made of? Well she didn't start this strong.
Ping remembered her early days. She didn't exist. Then she did. All she knew were dreams and the bizarre memories and experiences she had within them.
She started off as a naive girl that was simply trying to survive. She had died countless times. It was as if she were in a game. She would respawn after death in a new scenario and with a fresh body. She learned a few things about herself.
In these dreams, she wasn't alone.
She had come across 'humans'. She found herself to be different. Humans bleed, she does not. Humans sleep. She does not. Humans get tired. She does not.
But there was one thing in common.
Humans age...
And she noticed that she did as well! But it was far slower.
TS: Year 879, Day 50;
Ping has studied this world and scenery. She was no longer the naive girl. She realized an absolute truth from her days in this space!
You either advance or retreat!
You either live or die!
She was special and had the privilege to explore countless worlds. But she was growing older, slower, more dull. She felt as if she was running out of time!
She also felt as if there was an illusory wall blocking her.
She felt a special instinct. A drive to create.
Her body despite being different from a humans. It had a few core parts that she recognized from her years of studying what made her different.
The core 'organs' were her source, her dantian, brain, and spiritual roots.
She realized that in order to leave. She needed to grasp a law.
She was currently sitting in the center of a blackhole. She had long cultivated her body and spirit to the peak.
She had learned 'cultivation' from the mortals among the worlds she explored.
She noticed that the rules in this particular spot were breaking down. Perhaps she could use this to break the 'wall' that was blocking her.
TS: Year 901, Day 98;
"If I am to be the origin of something..."
"I'll make it..."
"The path to immortality!"
"I will be the beacon that gives mortals a chance to ascend!"
Ping weaved the fabric of the dream and felt the 'wall' breaking. A wave pulsed throughout her body as her dream body died.
But this was only the beginning of her journey.
"My source..."
"This power!"
----------------------------------------
The peaceful days were interrupted. A sort of fire ignited on Ping's body. She looked like an elderly women that was near the end of her lifespan. Nothing like the youth that first manifested.
This fire spread all over her. But she did not scream. Her expression simply looked to be in pain. It was as if she was having a nightmare. This was a critical point for concepts.
Her body turned to ash and her source scattered!
Had she failed?
The world started to shake.
The ashes formed a vortex as a thunderstorm started shoot lightning down everywhere. Her body was getting reconstructed according to her instructions!
First her source reformed!
From the source threads started to spread like roots.
A special nervous system formed.
Her brain was constructed.
A body formed around her source.
A dantian crystalized in it.
Her spiritual roots.
She then opened her eyes.
In an instant time seemed to freeze! A heavenly golden tablet appeared in front of her.
"Where am I?"
It was as if the centuries spent dreaming were an illusion. This was her first time waking up.
"I am in the cradle..."
"I am Ping'yan!"
Her imprint was engraved on the tablet with her name.
"My law? Cultivation!"
The tablet started to shake as a white thread connected to her source. The tablet then vanished.
Ping'yan looked around and saw dozens of old man and women floating near her. She had long returned to her youth.
She was now different from them.
She could feel her longevity.
It was infinite as long as she remained connected to that weird tablet.
"I have become immortal!"
"It seems I am the first."
Ping'yan felt that her body didn't have any special powers. However it seemed she ignored gravity and flew. She had spent so many years cultivating, that such tricks came natural to her.
She felt a connection to the tablet in her sea of consciousness. She knew that this world was nothing like the dream worlds she had explored.
"I see..."
"I get to decide the rules for cultivation."
"I better get started then."
01 was born year 0, day 1.
01 awakened year 901, day 98.
01 Law: Cultivation
Name: Ping'yan
Despite hundreds of years passing. Only she had woken up so far. So Ping'yan decided to try to help the others wake up. They were running out of time!
