Atesh slowly floated out of the ocean. He directly flew up high in the sky. He always felt comfortable when he was far away from the world. Despite spending 570 years using devour and sleeping for centuries. He felt refreshed.

"I've gone through about a third of my lifespan."

"Now it is time to accumulate knowledge."

Atesh had a lot of knowledge orbs in his storage ring. They contained common sense about the world. Spells, and meditation methods.

He found out through these that the inheritance he had gained was from a rank 4 official mage! It was no wonder everyone died besides him. If he had come before gaining sovereign comprehension. He also would've died.

As he absorbed the knowledge in these orbs. He started to have some unique ideas.

"I have tried forming contracts with souls so I can generate mental energy. But all my attempts have ended in failure."

"But this inheritance has given me a water seed."

What was a water seed? It was the channel to the water dimension. It was stored in his sea of consciousness. It directly nourished his body.

"This seed is from the pill and spiritual water I consumed. It is a heavenly treasure. But this means there also exist metal, wood, earth, and fire seeds."

"I have a heavenly treasure as a part of my body now."

The weird idea Atesh had was 'collecting' and consuming the seeds for each element. Perhaps there were shadow and light seeds as well. Potentially wind and other elements."

"Once I have a connection to the five main elemental dimensions. I wonder what sort of change that will bring to my body."

Gaining energy from the water seed wasn't the only perk he gained.

He felt the seed in his mind.

"It seems to have a sort of healing effect!"

"I wonder what the other elements are capable of doing."

Atesh didn't expect to be able to gather all the elements before running out of lifespan. It took centuries to refine a single water seed. The benefits were immense. But it didn't extend his lifespan. He could only live for 10,000 years.

As Atesh digested the knowledge of this water wizard. He frowned at the lack of a higher cultivation method.

The technique in the storage ring was only able to practice to a level 3 acolyte.

It didn't even describe the process of breaking through to an official wizard.

"I suppose my plan to spend centuries up in space cultivating falls through. But I should at least become a level 3 acolyte first. Then my sovereign soul can upgrade my disguise."

"The main problem I have to deal with his hiding my water seed. I'm too weak to protect such a treasure. Others might covet it."

Atesh spent a decade developing layers to his sea of consciousness. He used his experience of when he had multiple dimensions to his visualization technique.

Now, his sea of consciousnesses looked empty. But hidden within it was a connection to the water dimension. Despite this. The seed wasn't fully fused with his sea of consciousness. He hadn't done so because it may cause problems in the future.

"Hopefully in the future I can collect all the seeds for each element."

Atesh still had plans to build his own dimension. But he didn't want a simple source castle that was constructed from mental energy. He wanted something on a far larger scale. He hadn't forgotten his main goal.

Visdre created an 'avatar' named Somnus so that he could assimilate with the concept of dreams. He would then control Somnus and fuse with it. This would make him insane and sane at the same time. Controlled insanity. He wouldn't become a puppet to reality. But a true master.

But this goal was far away. He had been rather lucky to make it so far. If it weren't for his system genesis triggering upon completion of his visualization technique. If it weren't for becoming an elf. He never would've made it this far.

You could say his path was very unique. Anybody else put in his situation would have died a long time ago.

He started to practice the visualization technique for wizards.

Wizards radiate energy particles from their life field. This is because their bodies have been tempered with energy particles. But this energy is almost like radiation when being released into the environment.

"But the way to become a monarch isn't tied to meditation methods at all. You could spend a thousand years comprehending an element. Unlike wizards, as long as a wizard has the proper technique and resources. They won't suffer from any shackles..."

"But a monarch is raised purely based on comprehension and resources. If you had the proper resources. You could become a monarch in an instant."

"There is no need to 'meditate' on runes or memorize spell models. You directly manipulate the elements! No... you directly manipulate reality to get the desired effect."

"This path I've constructed is completely unique. You must integrate natural treasures in the body and have a connection with the elemental dimensions."

Atesh didn't plan on becoming a wizard anymore. He was going to become monarch!

"There seems to only be 9 treasures in total. What about wind, or thunder? I suppose they aren't required."

"If it takes 300 years to integrate an element into my body. I have 8 more treasures to find. That's 2400 years to reach Monarch level."

"But I had the help of a massive amount of spiritual water for the water seed..."

"How am I supposed to find these treasures? I was lucky to enter that ruin by chance."

"That was an inheritance of a rank 4 water magus."

"Inheritances won't just fall into my lap from random exploring... right?"

Atesh looked into the steps needed for this technique.

"I need to enter the wizards circle and potentially buy or steal these treasures."

"From the knowledge I inherited. Wizards use these seeds as expensive batteries. They are valuable and the relics of powerful mages. But if I kill some rank 4 mages. I might be able to loot them."

"I must keep my sea of consciousness clear to house the seeds."

"The question is... how do I become powerful enough to fight rank 4 mages? My power is on the level of an official mage. I lack a means of attack..."

"I'm no match at all against wizards. My body is tough. My soul is strong. My will is flexible. My mind is sharp. But these guys excel at manipulating spells."

The pupils of Atesh constricted as he received the last bits of information on this path.

"I'll never be able to become a mage. I won't be able to use spell models in my sea of consciousness to conjure spells."

Atesh needed to think.

"I could become a wizard and reach a level 3 acolyte in an instant. I could then explore this world and find a proper inheritance."

"Or..."

"I could follow a path nobody has ever taken before. Instead of simply using the seeds like a battery of energy particles. I'll completely integrate them with my consciousness and step on the path of a monarch."

"The information I've gotten shows these paths conflict. My sea of consciousness will transform the moment I fully fuse it with the water seed. The gateway will become one with my consciousness."
