Chapter 49: Race Change

Chapter 49: Race Change

"I am not Gou..."

"I am Atesh of Gaia's Island!" Atesh's disguise had disappeared. He allowed his soul fluctuations to return to normal.

His friends just stood there in a daze.

"Are you human?" Zhar asked.

"I am not. Soon you won't be either!"

The group backed away from Atesh. But there was nowhere to run. Atesh grabbed Jay by his shirt and threw him into a wall.

In an instant he appeared in front of him and started to pummel him into the wall. Jay's bones were sticking out and his organs had ruptured.

Everyone ignored their survival instinct and tried to pull Atesh off of Jay. But he was like an immovable object.

Atesh ignored them and waited until Jay was on the verge of death. He pulled him out of the wall and threw him onto the ground.

"Wh-y?"

Atesh kicked him onto his back.

"I don't need weaklings!"

"This pain will be worth it."

Atesh flicked his fingers and Jay was cut a thousand times. He then held his hand over Jay's dying body and used his will to cut his own wrist. Blood flowed from Atesh onto Jay.

Once Jay was covered in blood. A pentagram appeared underneath him. This was made up of gaps through Atesh's will.

"I lack the focus of mental energy. So I had to get a little creative..."

Atesh couldn't manipulate mental energy easily without his pendent as a focus. So he had to do things a bit more extreme.

"If I can't brute force changing your race. I'll start by replacing your bones and organs. I'll drain your body of blood. I'll replace your marrow."

Jay started to float about a meter above the ground. He was dripping with blood and his bones were still sticking out. Atesh used his will to remove most of his broken bones. He took out Jay's destroyed organs.

All that was left was a ball of flesh with a spine and skull.

Atesh then covered Jay in spiritual water. Jay started to rapidly heal. But Atesh was controlling HOW he healed. Making him go through a true race change.

"Without the blessing of that tree. You won't have the normal elf lifespan. But living a thousand years should be possible."

"You are now a half elf!"

The group was confused. At one moment, Atesh was killing someone. But the next moment, that person was completely fine! He even said that their lifespan was increased to a thousand years!

"Changing your bloodline is just the beginning. This world used to have energy particles that one could use to become a wizard."

Atesh touched Jay's head. Jay didn't resist as Atesh used sovereign soul to look within Jay's sea of consciousness.

"A wizard can house a single elemental seed..."

If high ranking magi knew what Atesh was about to do. They would be incredibly shocked!

That's right! He planned to condense a water seed using his comprehension of the water dimension. While others needed to find the physical heavenly treasure. He could condense it if he had the coordinates engraved in his existence.

This wasn't because he was Somnus.

This was due to the path of a monarch. A perk never before seen.

He couldn't condense the other seeds without a foundation. But since he had a foundation for the water and fire dimension. He could unlimitedly create these heavenly treasures!

A spiritual cocoon formed around Jay.

"What did you do to him?" Zhar asked cautiously.

"His lifespan had been increased. Now I am restructuring his body so that he can survive in a void or vacuum."

"I am also giving him a permanent source of energy particles. So that he can walk the path of a wizard."

The others looked at Jay curiously. Then Lo asked:

"How long will this transformation take?"

"It took me about 300 years..." Atesh said.

"300 years!?"

"Don't worry. My lifespan is a lot larger then a mere thousand years. He should be partially integrated after 30 years."

"30 years..." Ta whispered.

"So in the interest of saving time. Who is next?" Atesh's smile looked evil.

Despite Atesh putting on a friendly smile. His 'friends' thought about what had just happened to Jay. They knew that this was an opportunity. But wasn't it... a bit cruel? To have all the bones in your body broken and pulled out along with your organs? Even if you were healed instantly. That had to be mental trauma inducing... right?

Atesh then spoke:

"To be honest. I could have knocked him out first. But that might've lowered the odds of him surviving the bloodline transformation..."

"You all will be responsible for helping me do various task. I can't have you lacking in willpower and resolve! So... Who is next?"

Zhar was the oldest. He grit his teeth and walked towards Atesh.

"Excellent!"

Atesh had discarded all technology on him and this group. He had also buried them alive temporarily as he stole their organs and bones and replaced their bloodline with his.

Soon all four of them were in spiritual cocoons. They all had water seeds in their sea of consciousness.

"After my body emerged from that spiritual water cocoon. I was able to withstand the pressure of my environment. It should be no problem for them to survive in space."

Atesh transported their bodies to the wizard tower that was still orbiting around the world.

"I now have thirty years to kill..."

"My memories of the water mages inheritance aren't complete. I have lost some of it. The world has changed and will likely continue to change in these 30 years of dormancy."

"I felt that I had trained enough already. But now I have subordinates to train. I will need to teach them everything I know."

Atesh didn't plan on teaching them how to become a hidden existence as that could lead to conflict in the future. But he planned on making them as powerful as possible. It was no joke to challenge a super intelligence. He himself didn't remember how one becomes a hidden existence. His memory of that technique had long turned into dream force. His existence was special and couldn't be replicated without proper knowledge.

"Unfortunately... I won't be able to make them go through system genesis. It took me a long time to master sovereign comprehension. Even if I try to teach them how it works. It'll take hundreds of years to pass on the method. Not to mention they aren't me. Their mind might get assimilated by the overflow of information."

"I use sovereign comprehension as a flexible technique. Unfortunately, they won't have access to this."

"I just need to design a power system and train them..."
