Zhar's POV:
"Atesh?"
Zhar had been given his own layer in the spiritual forum. He was also the one that stayed behind with Atesh despite being told his fate would be worse then death.
Zhar was destroyed when he exited the bounds of the dream force waves. But Atesh had absorbed his revival artifact.
It was through this that Zhar revived!
Zhar had gained an ability from the 'radiation' of dream force during the explosion. He found himself in a sort of null realm. This was a nameless place. It belonged to none of the multiverses. But in consequence it also lacked a connection to them.
There existed many null realms.
Mental energy was the process of converting consciousness from physical energy. Eating, drinking and breathing powering the brain. Zhar couldn't perform any of these activities. If his body wasn't a manifestation of his spirit turned from false to true. He would've died long ago.
He was burning through his mental energy in order to remain conscious.
Zhar had no idea he was on a clock. But his mental energy reserves were rather vast. Enough to last him a few decades at the least.
Zhar found this space to be very interesting. He had learned a sort of creation magic because of the dream force that warped him. It was like he still was an operator.
"I am in neither heaven or hell... where am I?"
Zhar grabbed the seed and used the 'feeling' from when he was in the spiritual forum. A platform appeared from nothing.
He landed on it.
He started to breathe heavily. It was as if it took a lot out of him. What he didn't know was that he had indirectly used mental energy to create matter.
He tried to use his key. But that didn't work.
His transformation into an elf meant he had a lifespan of 1000 years. But he wasn't connected to that body at the moment. Without even the elemental seed or access to energy. His only resource was mental energy.
He had actually comprehended something insane. The ability to create objects with mental energy alone! Even Visdre hadn't mastered such applications of mental energy.
But Visdre was no more.
Zhar spent a year building a temple. In this temple was an altar.
On this altar was the dream seed.
This temple was on a mountain.
This mountain lacked a foundation. It was just floating in this void space.
Hidden in a mechanism was Zhar's revival artifact.
Despite it being only a year. He felt incredibly tired. He had burned through most of his mental energy. He stood guard at the altar for a few months.
"I'm sorry... I can no longer guard you..."
Zhar's body collapsed. But his corpse remained 'guarding' the dream seed.
----------------------------------------
Millions of years later.
The metaphysical stars aligned.
The null realm was like a comet soaring through space. It wasn't actual space however. There exist a constant in his previous multiverse.
Every universe has an abyss, chaos realm, otz room, etc. There are also countless null realms. They are like the water of the universe. They collide with universes like bubbles. But because they have nothing within them. The impact is as small as a single drop of water into an ocean.
Despite millions of years passing. The temple hadn't aged a day. There was no wear and tear.
If you spot this narrative on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
The null realm that the temple was housed in collided not with a universe. But it entered a place that should not be named.
Original Incarnations! These were beings that made up countless multiverses. They raised these multiverses like cattle. They consumed them for entertainment.
The scale of power in most universes had god's at the bottom. Mortals weren't even considered as people. You then had overgods.
The difference between a god and an overgod was that the overgod was essentially the processor of the universe. You then had gods that maintained their creations.
Below them were the non-divine.
These were entities like hidden existences or higher beings.
Below those.
You had the ordinary that peaked at their universes power system. The true immortals or rank 8 wizards or evolvers. Or the highest level of technology. Nanotech and Interdimensional travel.
Below those.
You had normal humans, animals and insects.
Microorganisms.
The special thing about the space that shouldn't be named was that it it had been named.
There existed a entity named Gaia. It was he who transformed this space into his sea of consciousness. The original incarnation Knowledge had seen through infinite outcomes and developed a plan to win it all.
Gaia didn't pull off this feat alone.
He had a bit of help.
An entity named Somnus had given him a few boons. Without this help... He never would've succeeded.
So what was the origin of this Somnus?
Somnus was an entity without origin! That didn't mean he lacked a history. He got to this point through his efforts and destiny.
So as his temple invaded the sea of consciousness. What he faced wasn't original incarnations that he would need to be wary of.
It was an endless stone maze and a floating island. On this island was a tree monster sitting on a throne.
The temple was like a speck of dust. The overgods of the multiverses were like energy particles in this space. This was one of the top existences in the territory of this cosmic order.
There was a secret to the rules of reality. The original incarnations consciousness were pulled from mortals that met the requirements.
There was a major law that should never be broken. Original Incarnations are NEVER to enter a universe itself. They must stay outside of reality in the place that shouldn't be named.
Somnus had served time as an original incarnation.
He had left reality to explore the cosmic order. But he wasn't the only entity to touch the cosmic order. Much like how Knowledge schemed. Somnus had been a step ahead.
He was cursed across all of reality!
So what original incarnation had he been? He had experienced Time! But he had also broken the rules by bringing Time into reality.
There existed a being named Moltzrar. They were sealed.
The origin of [ECHO] was incomprehensible!
Visdre Mallaichte was an absolute terrifying entity.
He not only became a hidden existence. But he tricked reality into giving him power he never should've had.
Surpassing overgods and the other entities.
His enemies and allies danced in the palm of his hand.
Somnus had five sublime abilities thanks to his scheming.
Rewind
Travel
Dream
Distort
Displace
The Somnus that left to explore the cosmic order had retroactively upgraded these abilities from being divine to sublime.
Visdre Mallaichte had learned how to tap into the power of distort. They had learned how to create dream force. But now something insane was happening.
The temple that had entered Gaia's sea of consciousness vanished!
An entity that observed the cosmic order had taken it before Gaia had even realized or interacted with it.
That entity was the Somnus that explored the cosmic order. He had spent ALL TIME exploring multiverses.
"Oh? What is this?" Somnus was intrigued as he stepped foot on the mountain.
"This brings back memories!"
He walked up the mountain and entered the temple. He walked through the grand halls and came up to the altar. It was there that he saw the dream seed.
"This isn't a trick from that John Destinatus fellow is it?"
Somnus was always a step ahead. But even he didn't dare mess with that mortal.
"Or is it an experiment from Zero?"
"Definitely isn't like Gaia to do this..."
Dream
Somnus's consciousness probed into the seed. He experienced a flash of memories.
"Hahahahaha!!! That's what I'm talking about!"
"Moltzrar... Echo...God's Death."
"It seems this alternate version of me is quite capable."
"But this cosmic order already has its hands full..."
Somnus thought about it.
"But you have made yourself have no origin. I have long wanted to leave this cosmic order. An entirely new reality."
"As one Somnus to another..."
"I'll give you a boon!"
"You have no ties to this reality anymore. Overgods process reality. You really have bitten off more then you can chew..."
"I'll help you this once..."
"But where I'm sending you... it doesn't exist!"
"The rules will be entirely different there. I'm afraid I won't be able to go with you. Where you are going is a one way trip. It is a completely blank cosmic order esque space."
"There will be no abyss."
"There will be no chaos realm."
"No otz room..."
"No destiny..."
"I wish you luck! Even I won't be able to monitor you."
Somnus looked at Zhar's corpse.
"A revival artifact is hidden in this temple..."
Distort
Zhar came back to life.
"Atesh?"
"WRONG answer!"
Zhar froze.
"I'll push this entire temple into a new reality..."
"I wish you luck!"
Displace
The entire mountain was transported outside the bounds of this cosmic order. This was a newly generated reality! There were no overgods rendering reality. There were no gods or hidden existences.
Everything was blank.
There was no other realms.
There were no concepts.
Even matter, space and time didn't exist.
Zhar was still frozen.
But the dream seed started to shake.
