“Did you know it beforehand? No that’s impossible, I selected this at random from a selection of over 1,000,000 different documents.”
Lucifer put on an innocent expression. “I have a really great memory, it’s the truth.”
“Alright, it’s not unheard for a freshman to ace. I’m just surprised a normal human managed to do this. Now recite to me your understanding of the words you read.”
He started to lecture her about it and tell her what it truly meant. It made her face go from surprise, to shock, to amazement and then left her with a hanging jaw, gawking in astonishment at Lucifer as he lectured her about the creeds meaning.
“Y..your comprehension is too great. It’s even more in depth and detailed than my marking sheet. This…I can’t mark this. It’s beyond my ability.”
Him having great memory skills was impressive but in the vast universe how many had shocking memorization abilities? But his comprehension ability was something entirely different. Memorizing wasn’t that hard, it just meant you were able to record the information down inside your head. But being able to comprehend the truths of this creed so easily and break it down into so many different pieces.
It…it was godly. It was on another level. It was beyond her realm of expertise. Never in her life had she had someone who could enlighten her on the philosophical truths about a paper. Even her exam marking paper with perfect answers couldn’t measure up to his answer.
But of course it couldn’t, how could someone measure up to the understanding about a piece of work other than its creator? Especially a shortened version at that. Simply put, they were in two different realms.
In reality, if this paper had been anything other than this creed then 10 times out of 10 he would’ve been the one walking out of the room with his face pointed at the ground in defeat. But this wasn’t one of those times, luck had been on his side and he pointed his nose high into the sky and laughed inwardly in triumph.
She picked up her jaw, not really sure what to do or say. After 5 minutes passed Lucifer coughed and woke her up from her daze. “Ah, alright.
She started tapping away on her computer once again before a ding sound was heard. Light flashed from all around him and the room lit up. A robotic computer voice was heard from the intercom, “Scanning for interference, radio waves, robotic plants, sensors, receivers and listening devices.”

…
“Scan has returned with no results, area is clear of interference.”
The robot voice disappeared and the lady was holding her mouth. “Sorry, I thought you may have cheated by bringing a transmitter or something similar. This room is a natural safe zone built to keep out all radiation, including signals being transmitted in and out. I can’t believe it.”
She looked down at the desk one more time before straightening her expression and passing it off. “Okay, time for the second test.”
His vision began to blur. The surroundings turned to white, the chairs, table and walls all disappeared but his vision was still a blur. When everything returned to clarity again, his surroundings had morphed and changed. He now found himself in another world.
He looked around and slowly adjusted to his surroundings, “What’s going on?”
“It’s a virtual reality platform so don’t move around too much. This is just a projection, it’s not real.”
“It’s not? But it looks so real.” Lucifer reached out in front of him where the desk once was and felt it touch his hand. Although he was touching white space, in reality it was the table and he could feel it. This proved that this was all an illusion and he was still in the same room he had been in before.
“Are you telling me that a young kid like you has never played Virtual Reality games before?”
Lucif shook his head, “No, I haven’t played any games before.”
“What kind of kid hasn’t played any games before? Don’t tell me you spent your entire life studying? Kids need to enjoy themselves. But never mind, what’s done is done. This will be a good experience for you then.” She cleared her throat and sipped on her tea.
“Let me explain. This is just a projection and mixing of light, this room is full of sensors that can detect your body motions. By speaking and moving you can control what to do in here. But if you move too much you might bump my desk over so don’t jump around too much.”
“For this next test, your mission is simple. Take out the Daruma president. You get 10 chances, but each failure reduces your marks. I will now initialize the gaming program, good luck.” She waved her hand but Lucif couldn’t see her hand gestures.
She kicked her feet up on her desk, leaned back and sipped her tea. ‘Show me what you’re worth kid.’
The surroundings changed once again and he found himself in a new land. The area he was in now was something like an army base. As he looked around he noticed someone in an army suit sprinting towards him with incredible speed. A look of panic and fear was plastered across his face.
“Sarg, sarg! The Dars have stormed our front line, we have suffered major casualties and we are being encircled from all sides. Our air force has been completely swamped by their fire and the tanks have..”
The soldier paused and caught his breath. After 15 seconds Lucif couldn’t help but yell.
“The tanks have what?!”
“Been destroyed sir. Our window for taking out the Daruma president is closing bit by bit. What are we going to do sarg? Things aren’t looking good.”
Lucif reached out his hand to see if he could grab onto the soldiers shoulder but his hand went right through. ‘What kind of shitty virtual reality games is this? I can’t even grab onto him.’
