She rushed forward and they quickly followed behind. She was moving so quick that they couldn’t get a good look at her face.
“Why are you rushing so much? Are you going to be late for your flight?”
“No, no…It’s not that, it’s the line. If you don’t get in line quick, then you will end up waiting for days to catch your skybus.”
“How is that possible when there are so many hovercrafts?” Ambrosia couldn’t help but chime, like the rest she was new to this situation.
The girl kept rushing as she quickly spoke, “Hovercraft? That’s an old term, most people call them Skybuses and Skycars nowadays.”
The girl fastened her bag over her shoulder so she could have better weight distribution so she could increase her speed once again.
“Maybe for normal flights you wouldn’t have to wait so long but the holidays have now ended. There are only 10 hoverbuses and there are 100,000 returning students all flying to Enochian Academia. It’s a real rush because the mega transport ship arrived almost 7 days late. If I don’t get in early and get there today then I will ruin my 100 percent perfect attendance record. Argh!”
She screamed as pushed her legs to the limit and ran speedily through the transportation station. But she wasn’t alone in her quest. There were thousands and thousands of people all rushing off the giant colony spaceship towards the ticket office.
“Why don’t you hire a skycar instead?” Lucif suggested but his idea was quickly shot down by the girl.
“All of the hovercars have already been reserved months ago so there’s no point trying to apply today. Therefore this is the only option. Usually, the waiting period is not a big deal but the ship was 7 days late. 7 days late, argh!”
She pushed her legs once again as she motored along the tiles.
Lucif decided to sprint ahead with incredible speed, it was like he was aiming to break the running world record once again as he used all his skills to make it to the office first. In the blink of an eye he was there and the line was already filling up. There were 500-600 people here and 50 isles. That means he was only a few people away from the front.
The office was adorned in golden letters; above it said “International Space Transportation Center Ticket Office.”

‘Why not just call it a ticket office? Such a long name will just annoy everyone.’ Lucif thought.
By the time Aruna, Ambrosia and the unknown girl arrived, there were already 10,000 people that had made it to the office before them. The girl who led them here had her eyes go blank as she realized that she wouldn’t be able to get to school by tomorrow. There were just too many people in front of her.
Her face ashen, she lowered it towards the ground and started to gloat over her situation.
“Over here.” Lucif called out and waved his hand towards the girls. “Ah, there he is!” They waved back and hoped out of line.
Ambrosia looked back and noticed the girl wasn’t moving. “Are you coming?”
The girl was currently in her own dreamland so she only heard them faintly. “Are you?”
The second call prompted her awake from her haze “Ah…ah.. okay.”
‘Even if I left the line now it wouldn’t matter too much, my perfect attendance record has already been ruined.’
The three girls made their way past the other people and found Lucifer in line, right at the front. Only one or two people from the front.
“Just squeeze in front here.” Ambrosia and Aruna jumped over the barrier and slipped in front of Lucifer.
“Is….is this really alright?” The girl who ran like her life depended on it questioned quietly. She was afraid of breaking the rules and getting in trouble.
“Sure, why wouldn’t it be?” Lucif patted her shoulder and pulled her into the line. She was about to climb back over the rail and exit the line but she steeled her determination. ‘Tsk, it’s for the greater good. My perfect attendance takes priority.’
Lucif widened his eyes as he finally got a good look at her. He coughed and almost got a nose bleed. Her eyes were clear like glass and colored like a light green forest. Her skin was smooth to the touch; it reminded him of the fairy tale snow white, because her skin was incredibly fair and beautiful. He had seen his fair share of beautiful girls in his life time, but she was something else. Because…Because…She was an Elf!
Her ears were pointy; she was taller than him by a foot or so and also very slender despite her vivacious curves and bust.
‘Ahh, I feel so short.’ He thought to himself as a sense of inferiority washed over him, but that was quickly wiped away by the overwhelming confidence he had in himself to grow tall and strong.
A few blokes behind saw him pull the three girls into the line and they exploded in a rage.
“You dare push in line, you are courting….dea..th.”
They quickly shut their mouths when Lucifer turned his head to glare at them. If these people were anyone else they would have continued berating him like crazy but these few men just happened to be there when he beat the living daylights out of the giant Orc alien.
They quickly pointed their fingers into the distance looking down at someone they happened to see not too far away. The crowd heard the loud shouts from these men and got angry when they saw this person in the line. They quickly threw him out and sent him to the back.
“B…But I didn’t push in line. I’m being framed!” It was no use, the crowd’s anger washed out his voice many times over.
Lucifer turned his head back towards the front and started chatting with the elven girl.
A cold sweat slid down the men’s foreheads as they felt their hearts beat rapidly. After some time they slowly relaxed. Thanks to their quick thinking they had saved themselves from a beating.
