It was Monday again, and Raven was back to working hard at her game. The prototype was almost ready, and way before the deadline too. Just a few more tweaks… And it was done! Raven loaded the game to test it one more time.
The game opens in the first view as the camera moves around, as if the protagonist is looking around. Then it switches to the 3rd person, which shows that the protagonist is laying on the bed in an old, overrun with flora, hospital. There's text saying, “Press E to stand up.”
Raven presses it.
The character stands up, as the first line of dialogue says, “Where am I?”
There's a first task, which asks you to check surroundings.
Raven moves around and interacts with the mirror, “Who am I?”
Next she interacts with some old hospital equipment, “Why am I in a hospital?”
Lastly she interacts with a window, “Maybe I should go outside…”
As Raven has interacted with all three things, the task is completed, and tells her to move outside.
She moves to the door, opens them, and a monster attacks her, starting a fighting scene. Raven successfully kills the monster and in it finds a vile.
“Huh? What is that?” The character asks.
There's another bigger monster that runs up to the character, making them freak out and drop the bottle. The liquid spreads, and it makes the character disappear.

The game now loads a street in a city. There's a clip of the previous version of the character walking past the street the current (playable) version is.
You get a few seconds of walking around, before the game sends you back to the present, where the monster is standing right in front of you.
You level up, and then have to kill the monster. Raven quickly does so, and one last dialogue plays, “Who am I?”
Then there's a title screen saying, "Made by Raven Saper.”
And under it a button saying, “Play again.”
It was done, and everything worked just fine. Raven was proud of herself for in the end being able to make a prototype that showed some of the key mechanics, as well as the story.
“I finished the game prototype,” Raven said to Daphne, who then followed her to the computer and played the game herself.
“This, this is it! That's the game I was looking for!” Daphne happily said.
Raven smiled, “And I even have some plans for further development. For example, once you leave the hospital you're greeted with an open world. That's when you find your travel guide, and basically you're trying to figure out a way to teleport back in time to figure out who you are.”
Daphne nodded as Raven explained her ideas.
“Well, then I'll look into putting a team together for you. You've led a team already in your Heart Goes Doki project, so it shouldn't be a problem.”
Raven stared at Daphne, “You- You know I made Heart Goes Doki? How?”
Raven never said anything about working there on any of her resumes, as she knew she couldn't prove it.
“A friend of mine worked at that game of yours. You should know her, Meave?
“I remember her! She made homemade smoothies for us. She was such a good girl. And you're saying she's your friend? Huh. The world really is small.”
Daphne smiled, “I guess so. Well, if you want you can leave early today, I'm gonna mark you as being here the whole time. And tomorrow you'll be back at work, with your new team.”
Raven nodded, taking Daphne up on her offer. It's not as if she had anything else to do here. Best she could do now is get some good rest and prepare for tomorrow's work.
