“Who should I ask?” Daphne pondered, as she stared at the letter.
Wyatt took the letter, “Ask me! I'll go with you.”
Daphne rolled her eyes, “Who from Phantasm should I ask?”
Wyatt gave the letter back, of course he knew that's what she meant, but playing with her was always so fun.
“Where will you be going?”
“To LA in California,” Daphne answered as she re-read the letter.
Wyatt crossed his arms, “Damn, now I really wanna go. So unfair. Can't you just hire me for a few days and take me with you?”
Daphne rolled her eyes.
“You know how many people I could meet in LA? And I'm talking about important people. Rich people.”
Daphne laughed, of course all Wyatt could think about of was money.
“Oh, and we're gonna be meeting some big celebrities,” Daphne continued, knowing that was going to make Wyatt wanna go even more.
“No way! Like who?”
“Oh, you know just some small local celebrities,” Daphne said casually.
“Like Tara Hill.”
Wyatt jumped, “Tara? Tara Hill! Are you crazy! Oh, my god! You're gonna meet Tara Hill! You know I am her biggest fan! She is in no way a local celebrity.”
Daphne laughed, of course Tara Hill wasn't a local celebrity, but it was too fun to toy with Wyatt. Tara Hill was a 21 year old actress, who starred in many popular films. She was only half American, with her mom, Hanako Hill, being an old star in Japan. She was part of a nineties J-pop group called Atmosphere Star, which she left to be with a now famous producer Taylor Hill.

Seriously, it's their whole family that's so famous! Daphne could even remember hearing about Hanako leaving a J-Pop group, when she was around 4 years old, as it was all over the news. So yeah, Tara Hill was a huge deal, and Daphne was excited to meet her.
Wyatt looked devastated, so Daphne thought it might be better to not let him know about how they will also go to a concert of Aurora Reeves.
Daphne was given an invitation for this as a part of her job at Phantasm, since the company was going to make a very important deal, and they picked Daphne to go along to their meeting, alongside some of the other managers. And she was told to bring one of her workers with her.
Though she wasn't told what they would need that worker for, which made it even more complicated for her to pick, and so she's been putting off thinking about it for the past month. But now it was really late, and she had to pick.
“Okay, thinking about it, why don't you just bring that smart worker of yours. The one who made Heart Goes Doki, I love that game. Really is a shame she isn't in the credits, what's her name again?”
“Raven,” Daphne said as she thought about it. It wasn't a bad option, Raven was the most skilled of the workers, and if they needed someone to show them something about their work as programmers, she was a clear pick.
“You might be right. I'm gonna ask her, I really hope she won't refuse since it's so late already.”
They were scheduled to leave for the weekend, stay over in a fancy hotel, meet with Tara then go to Aurora's concert. It really seemed more like a vacation than a work trip, but it seems to make sense if your goal isn't to be productive, but to strike a huge deal.
Wyatt's phone rang, “Hey babe, what's up?”
Daphne sat on a chair, re-reading the letter again, to make sure she didn't miss anything.
Wyatt, “Of course! I'll meet you there, love you!”
Wyatt hung up the phone.
“Who was that?” Daphne teasingly said.
“You know that guy from the club?”
Daphne nodded, it was only two days ago.
“Well, he was there yesterday so I started the conversation, and one thing led to another and now we're dating.”
Daphne laughed, “That was fast, and I thought it was a lesbian stereotype to move through stages super quickly.”
Wyatt smiled, “Well, there's also a stereotype of them not talking to the ones they like.”
Daphne shook her head as she smiled, “Okay, you got me there. Wait. Wouldn't that make you like a stereotypical lesbian?”
“I talked to him this time!”
Daphne laughed.
“So… Do you have any girl you don't talk to?”
“Nah, I mean, I talk to all the girls.”
“Sure you do.”
