“What are you looking for,” Daphne asked half asleep.
“I can't sleep, and I forgot my sleeping pills at home.” Raven explained.
“Oh, that sucks. Oh, I read somewhere that if you can't fall asleep, trying can only make it worse or something like that.”
Raven sighed, “Yeah, I think I heard something like that too.”
“We're in Los Angeles, maybe we could go explore it a bit?”
“At night? Do you want to get killed?”
Daphne sighed, of course Raven was right.
“Though, maybe this hotel has some activities?”
“We could check,” Daphne responded.
“Thank you,” Raven thanked Daphne, who then smiled.
They changed out of their PJ’s and went to the lobby, and Raven was right, there surprisingly were some activities in the hotel even at night. The bar was open, as well as a disco.
“Wanna dance?” Daphne asked Raven.
“As long as the music isn't too loud,” Raven responded.
Daphne laughed, “It's a disco of course it's gonna be loud.”
Raven laughed as well, “Okay, yeah. Let's dance.”

And they went inside the club. The music was loud, and overwhelming, making Raven unsure of what to do. When Daphne saw that, she took her hands and led her through a dance.
Daphne stepped and spun, leading her as they danced. Raven soon started to move to the rhythm, stepping faster and faster, the adrenaline rushing through her veins, making her forget the absurdity of the situation.
Daphne let go with one of her hands, did a twist and grabbed Raven by her waist as they furiously danced through the dance floor, not caring for others, just the two of them in their own world. Dancing in sync, in perfect harmony.
Step, step. Let go with a hand, twist, step closer, and turn, and step, and twist, step closer. And then back away, and step closer, and move through the dance floor.
It was an exhilarating experience to say the least, but it also tired Raven out so much that when they finally stopped and returned to their hotel room, she just plopped on her bed, and soon fell asleep.
Next morning the alarm rang, and Raven pressed her phone to stop it. She took her clothes out of her suitcase, and went to the bathroom to change. Today they were going to meet with Tara Hill, and in the afternoon they were going to the concert.
Though that should be what she was thinking about, being excited about meeting these celebrities, she couldn't help but replay that dance in her head over and over again. It was weird, how she didn't even notice the bright lights, or the horribly loud music. That dance had Raven’s full concentration, as she just went with the flow.
“You're a really good dancer,” Raven said to Daphne as stretched after just waking up.
Daphne smiled, like a child whose drawing you just complimented, “Thank you! I had a good dancing partner.”
Raven giggled. Then they hurried up changing and started putting on makeup.
“Wow, you look beautiful,” Daphne said when she saw Raven’s outfit.
Now Raven was the one smiling brightly.
Raven was wearing her blouse and black pants that she packed specially for meeting Tara Hill.
Once they got ready they hurried to the lobby, where others were already waiting. They lost each other in the crowd, and instead of trying to find each other, they just followed that guy. He seemed very young to be a manger, so Daphne guessed he might be a nepo baby, a son or maybe a nephew of someone important. Either way it would be best not to get on his bad side.
That, or he just had a very good skin routine that made him look as if he just finished high-school. Daphne wondered which it is, as she compared who of the people in charge he looks like the most.
