“Hey, excited for California?” Daphne asked, as she sat next to Raven.
Raven nodded with a big smile, “Yes, you?”
“Of course! I can't wait! I just hope the hotel rooms aren't going to be bad.”
The guy that had the tablet before, overhead Daphne, opened the plane's microphone, “Hi, everyone! We'll start the take off soon, so before that I just want to give you some more information. You'll be sharing a room. They are all rooms for two. The budget is a bit tight, hope you won't mind.”
Of course people minded, you could hear the whole plane whispering to their seat partners. It was obvious no-one expected that.
“Since you're already sitting in twos, I'm just gonna hand out the keys, and if you wanna switch roommates you're all adults, just talk amongst each other.”
He stopped the mic and started going around giving each row of seats two keys, 1 per person. and Daphne looked at each other.
“So, guess we'll be sharing a room, unless you wanna be with someone else,” Raven said to her awkwardly.
“Yeah, I guess so,” she responded.
As the plane slowly descended below the clouds Raven looked through the window. The city was filled with pretty lights, and from above, it looked magical.
“California, here we are,” she said to herself.
The plane safely landed and everyone got off.

“There are taxis waiting for us at the airport that will drive us to our hotel.” Said that guy.
“Tomorrow at 9am we'll be meeting at the hotel's lobby, don't be late.”
Raven took her suitcase and left the plane where she saw taxis lined up. She stepped in one of them, and waited for it to be filled with two other people, before the taxi started and drove them to their hotel.
Daphne went with another taxi, so Raven was the first in their room. Then it started to settle in her mind, just how awkward it's going to be. Sleeping in the same room as her boss sounded like something straight out of a romance novel, well at very least there were two beds, each at its side of the small room.
Raven started unpacking, she wanted to get her night routine in before Daphne gets to the room. She found her soap, and so she went to take a shower.
As she showered she could hear the doors unlocking, so Daphne finally made it here. Raven quickly finished with her shower and dried herself with a towel, only to realize she forgot to take clean clothes with her to the bathroom. The towel was big enough for her to wrap herself in it, and so she did. She opened the doors to Daphne sitting on her bed, doing something on her phone.
“I forgot my clothes,” Raven blushed, and quickly went to her suitcase to take them out.
It was clear Daphne didn't know how to react, so she just half mumbled an mhm. Raven went back to the bathroom, and put on her clothes, god that was so embarrassing.
Raven stepped out of the bathroom once again, this time wearing PJ's. Daphne then searched through her own suitcase and went to take a shower herself.
After they closed the lights, Raven’s heart was still pounding. It felt so weird to be in the room with her boss. And after that bathroom incident was so awkward. I mean sure, Raven’s changed her clothes around other girls before, but this time it felt different, somehow more intimate.
Maybe it's because it was her boss, or maybe- No, there's no way Raven actually likes Daphne. Raven became flustered just thinking about it. Better sleep through it.
Raven twisted and turned in her bed, yet couldn't fall asleep. She went to her suitcase only to remember she never packed her sleeping pills.
