Raven woke up at noon. After she looked at the clock on her phone she frantically started getting ready and packing everything back to the suitcase.
After she's finished with that she took clean clothes and went to take a shower, but before she could do that she saw herself in the mirror. The makeup on her face was completely smudged.
“Oh, god,” she said, and went back to her room where she looked for her make-up remover.
When she managed to take off all her makeup she stepped into the shower and turned it on. The warm water calmed her down, as the sound of it worked as some sort of white noise. She could stay there forever if she didn't have to be ready to leave the hotel at 2pm, that included eating lunch, and it was almost 1pm already.
Raven hurried up and dried off her body before starting to apply fresh make-up. Raven was a big fan of the no-make-up-make-up look. It was that type of make-up that people who say they don't like make-up actually mean. Like good CGI, you couldn't tell she wore make-up. Well, unless you yourself were very into make-up.
Once she finished with make-up it was already 15 past 1pm, meaning there was just a little bit more time to go eat lunch, which she of course did.
Once she entered the cafeteria her eyes immediately spotted Daphne at a table with other people, eating and talking.
Raven sighed sadly, of course someone as cool as her would be able to get new friends no problem. Raven couldn’t help but feel jealous, tho it was hard to tell whether she was jealous of Daphne or her new found friends.

Raven sat at an empty table and looked at what she should order, all while sadly glancing at Daphne, who was laughing and passionately talking about something.
“What was I even thinking,” Raven said to herself, feeling dumb for letting her feelings develop so much.
Though she ended up ordering the same thing she eat yesterday, today the food didn't feel quite right. As if it were way more bland and without taste. Even the colors seemed a bit duller than yesterday, as if the whole world was suddenly painted gray.
Raven finished eating just in time to pack a few last things, and walk to the lobby, where she waited with other people for that son-in-law to speak. Raven realized she never heard his name, and she probably never will.
“Okay! I hope everyone is here, we'll be leaving with taxies to the airport in just a few minutes. We are still waiting for the mr. Vinson. Oh, never mind. There he is!”
Raven looked in the direction he was looking and saw the CEO, who was bursting with happiness. Even though he was an old man his step was light, and his before serious face had a beautiful smile plastered all over it. And besides him was his son, also gleaming with happiness. When the son saw his boyfriend he ran to him and hugged and kissed him, “We made the deal!”
“You made the deal!” Son in law said, now for the first time dropping his serious demeanor.
They truly looked like the happiest couple, which of course made Raven even more jealous and sad.
“Hey everyone! Tara Hill is going to voice-act in our new game!”
Raven blinked twice trying to comprehend what she just heard. THE Tara Hill is going to voice act in one of their upcoming games! Though which one exactly? Raven was sure it couldn't be hers, as she has yet to show the prototype.
There were for sure so many games being produced, even such that are already at a stage where they are looking for voice actors.
On the flight back everyone was happily talking about Tara Hill joining the company, everyone except for Raven, who put her headphones on the moment the plane lifted off.
