Chapter 4

The young master has always been smart. Others may have not notice but I have. I am the head stewardess of the Aether Family. I was by the young master’s side since the day he had been born.

I’ve been closer to him than either of his parents. His mother had been with him for one month. His father has only seen him once in his life. Neither of them know what love is. Mistress Lily seemed to have noticed what love was but it disappeared within a month after giving birth.

All they had was their research. Research that furthers humanities technology. Research that saves billions of lives. Research that makes them the richest people in the world. Research that has left their only child alone.

I’ve noticed that the young master has always been smarter than other children. When he was a month old he always had a sparkle in his eye. A sparkle as if he understood what we said to him.

At the age of one, he was already able to speak before he could walk. When he was two years old he had known how to use a computer. He had hacked his way into government protected information.

He was genius. Maybe even more of a genius than his parents. He a child born from geniuses was a genius. The perfect heir to their legacy.

But their was one flaw. The young master wasn’t interested in research. He was interested in fighting. To be specific fighting the monsters in dungeons.

And today the young master has become three years old. The age when every child in the world’s status will be formed.

When the young master had seen his status, he had visibly paled. Then he had run away from me locking himself inside the Artificial Dungeon.

It could’ve been seen as excitement to use his skills against monsters, but it was the first time I had seen the young master ever look so scared. In these three years of his life he had always smiled and looked happy.

Whatever he had seen it had thoroughly scared him into hiding. By the time I had noticed he was already gone. I would have answers.

The Mistress Lily had called me later to inform me that a emergency had happened. Her and her husband will be disappearing for a long time. She didn’t even allow me to have even one word in the call.

Truly cruel parents.

Their only childs Status Day and they didn’t even return home to only say later they will be disappearing for a while. I pity the young master for having parents like them,

Later from the maids I had heard that the Mistress and Master had gone into Dungeon Siphila. Truly they care more of their research than anything else in the world. Even the most dangerous and unexplored dungeon is being explored by them.

I truly pity the young master for having parents such as them.

I am Lily Aether the wife of Tony Aether and the mother of Adonis Aether. But more than that I am a researcher.

I have just entered the Dungeon Siphila with my husband and a group twenty elites from our guild. We had entered the dungeon through its North Opening to find the reason of why so many monsters had come out of this dungeon.

It was a simple recon mission. To find the reason why and go back to base to discuss with other guilds. But we have made a mistake. It was something we had never realised.

This mission will probably cost me my life. The only regret I have is my son Adonis. He was after all still a child.

My name is Tony Aether. I created and still am the research leader of Wolfgang. I had never felt happiness, sadness, joy, anger, envy, or even pride for anything.  But this is the first time I had ever felt this feeling. I think they call it fear.

I had entered the Dungeon Siphila with the top twenty members of Wolfgang. We had penetrated through the North entrance. Everything had gone smoothly until Lily my wife told me she felt something was wrong.

That was when everything went to hell. We had lost fifteen members within seconds. Their was only five of us left. Two of our members and Lily were in critical condition.

Another member and I had come out unscathed. We were scouting the front when we had heard screaming and sounds of fighting behind us. When we had arrived they were already dead and the three of them had become mortally injured.

We tried to escape with the injured but we had become trapped. There was no way out of this dungeon. The strongest Dungeon Siphila was truly terrifying. I truly regret coming here.

My name is Marianne. I’ve been a ability user under the guild Cawdor ever since I was three years old. I was the genius of that year.

Currently monsters have invaded the Pacific Ocean and has gone through to the Indian Ocean. My team of ability users have just been tasked to join the main force to stop the monsters from flooding into the Indian Ocean.

We’ve been fighting underwater for hours now. We are all noticeable weaker. Especially our Magic Ability User’s who have been fainting or dying with magic overflowing. We’ve had half our force decimated from the waves of monsters we have faced.

I currently don’t even know if I would survive being here. We had run out of potions hours ago. We are also out of ammo and oxygen tanks are almost all empty. Our boat has also received considerable damage and has started to flood in the hull.

There has been no word from HQ causing us to not be able to return. We had also lost contact with the other main force who is fighting to keep the monsters from spilling into the Atlantic Ocean. It is almost as if we were stranded in the middle of nowhere.

I am T’mar Franse the guild leader of Kingdom. We had lost all communications with the Cawdor guild main force #2, hours ago. Other guilds have also tried to contact them. We have declared they are MIA and are priorities to be found.

Currently the monsters have destroyed Titan guild main force #3 with no survivors. They had been defending the waterway to the South Atlantic Ocean. They are already rushing through at the millions through the Atlantic Ocean.

Kingdom guild main force #1 has been clearing out Arctic Ocean and 75% of our forces have been killed already. Other guilds are also not faring to well against this monster flood. The only good thing about this flood is that no monsters have gone on land yet.

The Cawdor guild leaders have also disappeared after saying they would be going into the Dungeon to find the cause of this. The Titan guild leader has already decided to send the rest of their forces in a suicide mission into controlling the Atlantic Ocean with hundreds of other guild leaders.

I had tried to persuade him to save his forces and wait for the Cawdor guild leaders to come back with information. But in my 121 years of life I have never met a leader more foolish than him. He was willing to fight the enemies with no information beforehand. He even persuaded other guild leaders to take action with him.

Truly a horrible leader.
