Chapter 28
“Wahh..Waa...Whh.” What the hell.
“Muu...vvvoo.” My voice.
“Ahh, did mommy wake you up?” said a gentle voice.
He felt a strong force lift his whole body like it was a ragdoll into the air. What he had thought was his helmet hiding the outside from his eyes was a blanket that was wrapped around him.
The person that lifted him up was a gentle looking women. She had a amiable smile that radiated darkness. She was dressed in a old fashion robe that looked to be from a chinese wuxia film.
Don’t be mistaken.
I said darkness.
Her smile looked amiable but it didn’t look like a smile at the same time. Her voice was gentle but it seemed forced. She looked gentle but a berserk air followed her. She was beautiful, but not like a fairy but like a devil. The lady had a nice smell, not pure but seductive.
“Wahh,Wah, wa, Wu.” Let me go.
“You must be hungry, fumu,”said the woman drawing him closer.
Drawing across her chest she revealed one of her breast. A white cake with a bright red cherry on top. Perfectly shaped it looked to be a work of art.
“Here, drink up,” she said gently pushing him closer.
Not withholding his desire he put his mouth down to suck on the bright red tip. A wave of softness enveloped his mouth as the taste of milk flooded in. Unlike cow milk a certain fattiness mixed in made it even more delicious.
Drinking his fill he laid down in her embrace in drowsiness falling asleep slowly. While falling asleep he heard her voice as she sang an incoherent lullaby.
Waking up from his slumber after a while he searched the room only to not find the woman. Using his time he studied the room.
It was a moderate sized room. The walls were covered with wallpaper of rubber duckys and on the ground there laid some baby toys. Even though on the inside he was a grown man he couldn’t help but want to play with the toys that laid on the ground. It was like the room had a power that made him like a child.
There was one window where light shown through illuminating the room. Outside the sky was dark even though sun light streamed through. In the distance he saw spires marking a wall with flags fluttering across. Once in awhile soldiers would appear patrolling the wall.
Shit what the hell I had plans for that life. I was gonna save Dylan and the rest of the guys. I was gonna keep my sister from straying off the right path. What the Hell.
“Wahh, Wahhh,” cried Mark remembering the promises he had made in his past life.
“Who hurt my baby!” came a shout from the other side of the door.
Then an explosion commenced as the glass from the window shattered falling into the room. From the window a couple of blurry figures appeared noiselessly.
They had an incoherent shape, morphing from a figure of nine feet to a two feet figure of different sizes.
The door blew open scattering wood pieces all over the room.
The incoherent figures that were closer to the door had been blown backwards laying on the ground without a twitch. The incoherent figures that were on the ground had become whole forming human like shapes.
There was no blood but a pungent smell spread through the room as the bodies went limp and disappeared leaving nothing but the black clothes they had been wearing.
The surviving figures rushed forwards towards the crib that Mark had been peacefully lying down in. The closest one almost reached before a sharp sound and a flash of metal resounded stopping him in his tracks.
It fell onto the ground revealing a headless body that had disappeared.
The rest of the group ignored their companions imminent death and trekked forward. Even more sharp sounds and flashes of metal resounded stopping a number of them.
The figure that had run into the room was the woman that had breast fed him before. Unlike before she had lost all pretense of a gentlewoman and had become a devil incarnate. Whipping around a whip the steel tip exploded the enemies heads leaving nothing but the body.
Towards this enemy the figures still streamed through the window heading towards the baby crib ignoring her.
As more and more shadows flew through the window into the room the situation became more dire. Overwhelmed the woman had gone into the defensive when more and more shadows directed their attention towards her instead of the crib.
Just as one of the shadows went for a sneak attack from behind her a arrow appeared in his head. The figure stiffened as if in defiance then collapsed disappearing. More and more arrows flew from the door supporting the woman.
Then from the doorway a thumping of footsteps and grunts echoed into the room. From the doorway a dozen of human like figures flowed through.
Each human like shape was covered in a midnight black armor. Eccentrically carved symbols glowed on top of the armor causing a dark mysterious aura to flow from them. They all held the same weapon a four foot long halberd.
Behind these armored beings, men and women with a minimum of leather armor rushed in with red colored bows that had knives stuck to the ends of it. On some of the knives dripped blood that flowed onto the bowstring making the whole bow blood red.
Drawing back these bows a synchronized twang sounded out as a barrage of arrows flew impaling the shadows. After the twang the armored beings charged forward at the same time impaling through the left over shadows finishing the fight.
After the fight, the woman left her wounds untreated as she went towards the crib lifting him up in the air.
I guess she is a good mother.
“You may retreat now,” said the woman cradling him as blood flowed through her shoulder.
Retreating as fast as they had come the armored beings and archers left quietly.
“You must be hungry,” said the woman gently, “Here mommy will feed you.”
Hearing her words he unconsciously drank his fill and fell asleep once again in her embrace.
Waking up the third time he was already back in his crib. The window and door had already been fixed and the room had been cleaned leaving no indication of a battle. The room even sparkle without a speck of dust like it was new.
“Wuu wuu,” came a crash as the room visibly shook.
“The dragon woke up, Call the Dragon Tamers!” came a shout from outside.
Dragons…?...Awsome
From outside the window he saw a white figure fly through the air coming from the ground.
“WUUUUUAHHHHHOOOO!”
The window shattered again as the shock waves of the dragon roar echoed through the air. The glass shards that were still flying through the air shot forward as the sonic boom exploded out.
The baby's crib that he was in somehow stayed upright even as most of the furniture in the room had collapsed onto the ground.
From the window he saw a human figure fly through the air fighting the dragon one on one. The human shaped being within seconds flashed across a dozen parts of the dragon. With one final roar the dragon collapsed onto the ground. The dragon had no chance to even resist.
When I grow up..I wanna just be like him..
“Ohhhhhh, My poor baby! You must be very scared, mommy's here!”
The door that had been fixed was broken into shards again as the woman that called him his mother ran in with a frantic expression.
“Woo, woo, I told your daddy to finish it as fast as he can. But no he has to take care of it after it goes on a rampage.”
Cradling Mark she left the room with him .
It was the first time he had left the room since he had been reborn into this new life.
The walls from his room and the hall they entered was completely different. His room was a nice childlike room with a wallpaper of rubber duckys but the halls were made of pure rough stone. Even the floor and ceiling were the same material. The only thing difference of the walls from stone was that there were symbols carved into the wall that created a eery light that showed the way.
These symbols covered the whole wall and seemed to move like it was alive. When he tried to focus on one specific symbol a wave of nausea flooded him while a migraine appeared.
Stupid wall…
Suppressing his headache, his mother expertly navigated the maze like hallway to arrive at a big room the size of a large aircraft hanger.
The narrative has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the infringement.
Inside the lard room a number of people lined the room. They were dressed in the same manner of clothes as his mother. They had the air of nobility and a distinct split can be seen.
On one side of the room nobles with more expensive clothing resided and on the other side nobles with less flashier clothes resided. The nobles with less flashier clothes looked to be battle hardened veterans while the nobles with flashier clothes looked like second generation playboys.
The two groups viewed each other with disdain as if they couldn’t stand the sight of either group.
“Her Fifth Majesty Nirvana and Twelfth Prince Shura have entered the throne room,” announced the announcer.
Twelfth Prince? Who’s the Twelfth Prince? ..Wait is that me…?
At the end of the room a mighty throne towered over the room. On the top sat a young looking robust handsome man. He had a arrogant look of disdain as if looking down at all things upon the world.
By his side five smaller thrones but as impressive towered. They all had women of beauty sitting upon them. All except for one. The last seat farthest away from the throne.
The women that were seated looked at his mother in disdain and jealousy seeing the man on the throne have a flash of expression before it recovered into the arrogant look again.
Taking a seat in the furthest seat his mother continued to ignore the crowd and cradled him back and forth while whispering calming lullabies.
And like his mother that ignored the crowd he ignored his mother and was focusing on the crowd.
After listening to the debate between the two sides he realized the situation.
The dragon that had been awakened was knocked out by his father the Emperor Samarata. The dragon was currently locked in a cage awaiting it’s fate.
The two sides had a differing opinion of the matter. The side with battle hardened veterans wanted to out the dragon into the use of the military training a new dragon knight but the side full of merchants wanted to use the dragon as a bargaining chip to another country for trade. Neither side was willing to back down.
Eventually Mark got tired of the charade the two groups were having and studied the man that was the emperor.
The man had the same devilish charm as his mother. He was incredibly ripped. His eyes were sharp and glaring like they could see into a person's soul.
He seemed to be calmly looking over the two groups but every few moments there could be a change seen in his eyes. A slight flicker of mischievous intent.
“Boooooom!”
A mini explosion buffered the crowd as the emperor snapped his finger. A noticeable wave of the ari surged through the room knocking over the two people that had been arguing in the middle of the room.
“Enough!”
His voice was cold like a dark winter night. The voice had a forceful and calming affect. When some of the ladies in the crowd heard his voice they swooned with a pale grace of ecstasy.
Damn..When I grow up I want to be just like him.
Like children the two groups stopped arguing and looked towards him. Within a moment the whole room's attention had fallen upon him. Even his mother that had been singing him a lullaby was enamored.
“I have decided! Slaughter the lizard! We will have a feast tonight!”
Hearing the order neither side was happy but wouldn’t speak of their woes. If even one person spoke a word they would’ve probably be found in the nearby river dead.
But the ladies by his side spoke of their indignation.
“Your majesty, This goes against the Heavenly Edicts,” argued the lady closest to him.
Unlike the other four ladies that had a dark countenance she had a holy pure appearance. Like pure white snow untainted and free. In the dreary throne room full of demonic essence she glowed like a lightbulb with her holy angelic essence.
“Hmph, Heavens Edict, Have you not abandoned it after joining us devils,” said the lady next to her arrogantly.
Though her words seemed rash, her eyes were calculating as they flashed rapidly from joy to anger and back. But her eyes gave her a unique appearance. They fully complemented her face to give a seducing look instead of a wily look.
The other two ladies seemed to agree with her. His mother just ignored the rambling like it didn’t concern her.
“Sister Nirvana what might be your opinion of this matter?” asked the wily woman.
Forcibly being dragged into the conversation his mother glared at the other woman with blood thirsty eyes.
“I don’t care,” coldly said his mother with a cold expression.
Ignoring everything that had been happening around her she whispered to Mark.
“When you grow up don’t marry so many women like your father. It never ends well.”
Seeing that she had been ignored the wily woman proceeded to put her anger onto the holy woman.
“Then it has been decided! Tonight we feast!”
After having the situation finished the nobles dispersed leaving in groups. Once it became empty only the emperor, the five women and Mark stayed.
“Whoosh”
In a second the cold arrogant face that the emperor had disappeared immediately and became a smiling expression with a sunny attitude a complete opposite of what he had before.
The four ladies let out a breath as they physically relaxed. The different facial expressions they had also became different.
“Ay, Sister Nirvana you nearly ruined our act,” said the wily looking woman cheerfully.
“Sister Nirvana you’re always the same not getting into the act,” sighed the holy woman.
“Like I said it never ends well, Even though everybody is friendly with each other they still act like they hate each other in the public,” whispered his mother to him.
The other two women giggled seeing that his mother was ignoring them and taking care of her baby.
“Well I guess that's why we allowed him to marry you ,” said the holy lady kissing the emperor on the cheek.
Continuing to be ignored the ladies and man just looked at her warmly as she rocked Mark back and forth.
Feeling the motions he fell asleep again listening to the conversation around him.
The next time he woke up he was still sleeping in his mother's arms.
Where am I?...Oh yeah..
Different from his room and the throne room the first thing he saw was darkness. Then he found a number of lights appear in the sky like stars in a dark night.
They glowed brightly showing the scenery that toke his breath away.
Mountains rose across the horizon tipped with snow. Surrounding them like a net the horizon could be seen behind the mountains. Like a perfect image the mountains shown red as the light bounced off it.
Around them a number of trees flashed across his vision causing a dizzying sight. Whenever they almost hit a tree they would change direction avoiding the tree in a split second.
Then he saw that underneath them a huge beast was rocking back and forth. It had purple fur with a dozen of white spots. The surging muscle with each movement brought them forward dozens of feet in seconds. The beast had a panther like appearance with short ears and cat like eyes. It’s eyes glowed a deep mesmerizing emerald green.
“Oh you woke up my baby,” said his mother gently while guiding the panther across the land.
“Wauu, Wahhh.” Good morning.
“You must be scared, Don’t worry mommy is holding you tight.”
“Wuuu.” Where are we going?
“You must be wondering where we are, we’re going to see grandma and grandpa.”
“Wuuuuoooooo!”
A howl of wolves could be heard from the surroundings as silky white silver blurs appeared from the dark forest around them.
“Dang it, I was hoping to pass the wolf territory without any problems,” muttered his mother under her breath.
Moving even faster the panther exploded forward even faster leaving the silver streaks behind them.
“And one,” said his mother bringing out the silver tipped whip that she had used before.
It flew through the air and a explosion of red flashed beside them.
“Two, three, four...”
In the air around them even more color exploded as his mother slowly counted while moving her arm calmly and steadily.
Note to self..Don’t anger mother..
“Faster, nine, ten...”
The world around them had become an entire blur after the panther exploded forward in even faster speed. Even in this dizzying speed his mother still continued to twirl the whip around counting.
“Faster, twenty six, twenty seven..”
The panther exploded forward once again with the command his mother gave. The world had become a solid color around him. Then with an occasional flick of her hands a flash of red would appear around them like fireworks.
The mountains that had cultivated his sight before had become nothing more than black triangles in the distance.
The panthers legs had become a solid solid color of purple as they moved so fast. It didn’t even look like they were moving but were just hanging in the air.
“Wahhhhhh!”What’s happening?!
“It’ll be over soon my baby, sixty seven, sixty eight…” continued his mother calmly.
“Awooooooo!”
Even more howling came from the distance. Then blocks of silver appeared around them almost matching speeds with the panther.
“..109, 110..It’s the wolfking…”
Frantically swinging the whip a number of explosions appeared while the silver disappeared. Then a gigantic silver figure appeared.
It was four times the size of the other wolves. It even matched speeds with the panther and looked to be surpassing it.
Even when his mother whipped it a few times only a long gash appeared on its body. The gash even visibly disappeared leaving a long scar on its body.
“Awwooo!” roared the monster in anger.
The wolf completely surpassed the panther in speed and blocked its way. But with it’s nimble flexible body the panther avoided it while staying at the same speed.
“Just a little more…” mumbled his mother directing the panther and giving up on defending against the wolves.
None of the smaller wolves attacked trying to keep up with the panther but the wolf king speedily caught up again and was harassing the panther, slowing down its speed.
“Blood Dance Strike!”
With a yell his mother put all her power into the whip. With a glow the steel tip turned red and pierced through the wolf king's flesh like it was butter leaving a wound even bigger than before.
The wound didn’t close like before and blood profusely spilled out and turned into a blood mist. While running after them the wolf became slower and slower before stopping completely.
In an instant all of the wolves disappeared leaving the surroundings empty. Slowing down the panther unsteadily moved forward while breathing heavily.
“Let us rest,” said his mother patting the panthers back.
Collapsing onto the ground the panther lay there gasping and panting roughly. It closed it’s eyes falling into a deep slumber while its breathing slowed down to normal.
Jumping off its back his mother left him on top of the panther She was searching around the forest like she was looking for something.
While lying on top of the panther’s sleeping back he noticed how big the panther really was.
It’s back was about three feet across and was about eight feet long from it’s head to tail. Even while laying down the panther was like a small boulder with a height of three feet. When it stood it was probably four or five feet tall.
His mother continued to scan the forest while the panther slept.
After a while the panther stood up growling. It had become energetic again like it had not run very fast beforehand.
Seeing that the panther had woken up his mother jumped a full six feet and landed lightly on it’s back. Picking him up again she smiled while directing the panther forward.
After rushing through the forest for a few hours they arrived into a open space. In the open space a full open plateau spread out leaving a picturesque kingdom in the middle of it.
It’s castle spired through the clouds and pierced through the heavens leaving a profound majestic city in its wake. It’s wall surrounded the whole city.
Even though it had been a whole day/night the sky was still the same dark black canvas that stretched across. The blinking lights that were in the sky seemed all to fake lighting up the world.
“Ahh..It’s good to be home,” whispered his mother.
Running at the same pace the panther quickly arrived onto the main road leading to the kingdom. On the road the panther moved fast again quickly arriving at the gates.
The guards that were guarding the entrance saw the panther speeding through. Instead of panic they calmly bowed towards them while the panther went through.
