Chapter 31
Like he was out in a winter freezing night his whole body had turned a pale blue. Like his body had become a frozen momento.
Steam pulsed off his body as his body regained its normal coloring. With the steam a pure gold radiance surrounded it. It emitted a pleasant smell like fresh flowers that had bloomed.
His body was noticeably bigger like he was older than before. It exuded a state of maturity that his physical features didn’t show.
His whole body after the transformation seemed to be lighter like weights that had shackled him disappeared.
“My little darling,” said his mother gravely as the fake smile disappeared with a grim expression.
She hugged him to her chest and a sparkle of tears could be seen forming around her eyes. The change was instant after her hand left his forehead.

“You can only blame mother,” continued his mother grievously.
Then everything had become dark again. But unlike the last few times the darkness seemed to welcome him.
Like a child in his mother's arms he felt relaxed like it was there for him. The thumping like a heartbeat echoed through his body lulling him through the dark.
“Mark!”
“Urmgph.” grunted Mark in indignation
“Mark!”
“Nhhh.” moaned Mark in annoyance, “What!”
Then he opened his eyes to see the two girls looming over him.
“Hey Mark! You good!” said Riley holding his shoulders and shaking him.
“What happened…” muttered Mark feeling a pain throughout his body.
“Dunno, You weren't waking up!”
“I wasn’t waking up…” muttered Mark feeling his vision going fuzzy.
When his vision cleared up he wasn’t on the couch staring at the two girls anymore. But being held by a servant being brought in front of a crowd.
“Wooohooo!” cheered some of the people in the background.
From the crowd he saw the wild general Marianne glaring at a calm, gentleman looking man. A complete contrast of the image she had when he was in the game.
