Chapter 16
“Can’t we just wait for a few days before buying the game?” asked Riley peering through the car window at the line across the street.
“It’s part of the experience, c’mon Mark, we’ll save you a spot Riley,”said Mikaela already leaving the car.
Driving away to find a parking spot Mark chased after Mikaela that had already ran towards the end of the line.
“*Huff* *Huff* Wh..When’s the re..release time?” asked Mark catching his breath.
“In about a few minutes,” said Mikaela looking at her watch, “We got here later than I thought we would.”
As the time drew close and closer the line became longer reaching a couple blocks in length.
“Hey kid, you cut us!” yelled a man behind them.
“My friends were holding my spot,” said a familiar voice behind him.

“Riley!” yelled Mikaela over the uproar, “You finally got here!”
“Yeah, I had to park about twenty blocks away!” Riley yelled back.
“That means you still cut us!” yelled a man grabbing onto Riley’s shoulder.
“Dude what’s your problem!” yelled Riley throwing the man's arm off her shoulder.
“What’s your problem,” the man said back.
“Dude it’s only one more person to wait behind,” said Riley.
“Yeah, well that's still wasting my precious time,” said the man.
“Why the hell would you even be here if it’s wasting you precious time,” said Mikaela that had been staying quiet on the side.
“Either way...You guys just can’t cut,” said the man flustered, “Right guys.”
“They aren’t the only ones that hold spots..,” said bystander 1, “I think it’s just fine.”
“Same,” said bystander 2.
“We-Well.. I guess it’s fine,” said the man..
“Actually now that I think about it,” said bystander 1, “You weren’t even in the line until a few moments ago.”
“U-uh w-what d-do y-you m-mean,” said the man.
“Yeah,” said bystander 2, “Now that you mention it..”
“Was anybody holding a spot for this guy?” asked bystander 3.
“....”
“*Cough* I better get going ..haha,” said the man disappearing into the crowd.
