Chapter 29

Following the one way main street they quickly sped through the city leaving a purple blur. Within seconds they had already arrived the castle gates.

The armor covered guards moved out of the gate way systematically, while it slowly rose up opening the way.

After passing through, the gates halfway up started to go down again and the soldiers behind them quietly stepped back into place  like nothing had happened.

The courtyard was smaller than what it looked like from outside. But the castle was bigger than it was seen from outside.

The castle from the outside had been tall like a tower piercing through the sky but up close it was huge skyscraper where you couldn’t even see the other sides.

And in front of the castle stood a entourage of people. On the right stood only women and on the left only stood men. They lined across the front entrance of the castle. They all stood with their back straights like spears.

As they got closer the men and women at the same time bowed down into a ninety degree angle and said, “Her Majesty Nirvana, We welcome you to Glass Tower Castle.”

The panther sauntered in between the two lines to stop at the majestic front entrance.

Getting off the panther his mother hugged him tightly and jumped off to glide softly down onto the ground. While hurrying to enter, the panther had already disappeared leaving the two lines still standing there.

“Darling!” said a woman excitedly while going to hug his mother.

The woman looked to be really young. Maybe even younger than his mother. Their facial features were about the same they could probably be called sisters. Even the air around them was exactly the same like they were twins.

“Mom!” said his mother excitedly hugging back.

While the two women hugged his mother didn’t forget to make sure that he didn’t get crushed in the embrace.

“Ahh you’ve grown so much,” said his grandmother taking him from his mother's arms.

“Wuu, wuu.” Hello.

“Where’s dad?”

“He should be here soon. You know your dad always so slow,” said his grandma while tossing Mark up and down in the air.

Flying through the air upside down he noticed that he had already reached the ceiling and could touch it if he reached his hand out. Then he noticed that the ceiling was probably twenty feet above the air.

“Waaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!” AHHHHHHHH!!!

“Oh my, I think I scared him,” said his grandmother below him.

“He’s probably afraid of heights,” agreed his mother.

Plummeting through the air he fell down into his grandmother’s arms. When he landed he felt no impact like he was still floating in the air.

“Wuuu.” Grandma you’re really strong.

“Ahhh, You remind me of your mother already,” said his grandma snuggling up to him, “The first time I threw your mother in the air she pee-”

“MOM!”

“Ahaha, What’s wrong darling.”

“Nothing.”

“Where is she!”

From around the corner a tall man came sprinting . He had very long hair that covered his face. Occasionally glasses would peak out of the mess of hair. He was also wearing a lab coat that trailed behind him like a loose dress.

Hugging the man she said “Daddy!”

“It’s been so long, how long was it again.”

“Geez, it’s only been a hundred years,” mumbled his mother.

A hundred years!

“Sigh, It took you that long to have our grand children. Let me tell you when I was younger I knocked up…” said his grandfather.

“What did you say honey?” sharply asked his grandmother glaring at his grandfather.

Her whole entire eyes turned red as if they were going to explode. The wild aura that his grandmother had started to rampage causing a suppressing atmosphere around the area.

Mommy and Grandma are both scary...

“Actually, now that I think about it I might just be going senile,” ended his grandfather quickly.

“Which one was it?”asked his grandmother coldly.

“Wh-what are you talking about.”

“Anna?”

“No..”

“Lisa..”

“No..”

“Erika..”

“How do you know about her!”

“Damn old man it’s true you got another one!”

“Shit..I-I can explain.”

“What’s there to explain! You just don’t want this old woman anymore!”

“No, no, no I can only love you..”said his grandpa while hugging his grandma from behind.

“Hmph.”

“You’re the only one I love, You’re the most beautiful woman in the world…” continued his grandfather trying to appease his grandmother.

“They’re always like this,” said his mother to Mark, “Once they start it takes a while to end.”

Sneaking off from the old couple they went deeper into the castle into the center courtyard.

“Hehe, You probably don’t understand me right now,” said his mother.

“Wooo”I understand…

“I’ll just tell you again when you’re older.”

“Waaaa”Please don’t…

“Ehh, You look like you understand?”

“Du Da”I can understand..If only I could move my body or talk!!!!

“That’s probably my imagination.”

“Saaaaaaa”Noooo It’s not!!!

“Either way, when mommy was younger she went all the way to the top of the tower.”

“Are you sure..” The towers like 200 stories tall..and that's only the visible part.

“Ehh, What's with those eyes of disbelief!”

“Wo” The tower…

“Tsk, well I went all the way to the top and I found a hidden cultivation manuel. Of course hidden things are always the strongest! I wanted to change my cultivation method but I was already to deep into my cultivation.”

Hidden things..Strongest...Fricking Light Novel Writers are all over it….

“So I decide that I would give the method to my first child. Hehe...Mommy’s gonna stimulate the qi points so that you can’t cultivate another method when you’re older.”

Wait...You’re joking right…

“I would’ve done this sooner, but there's too many spies around the capital. Well here we go.”

Putting her pointer finger on his forehead an invisible force went into his body.

“Relax, my little Shura, relax,” calmly said his mother as he felt the invasion in his body.

Throughout his body he felt like ants were running across. A burning sensation erupted from his chest as the blood inside him flowed faster and faster revolving throughout his body.

Like a flooding tsunami the foreign energy stimulated his whole body as they opened up every blood vessel that was in his body. He even felt some of the vessels breaking and being built anew bigger and stronger.

But the energy call converged at one point. The area close to the center of his chest. The heart.

Unknown from the naked eye. The energy was burning all the impurities in his heart forming a new heart over and over again. His heart was becoming clearer and clearer like glass. A pure crystal heart.

Then all of a sudden the energy flowed in reverse going backwards and entered his forehead. During the change a heart wrenching pain exploded throughout his body. The newly reconstructed blood vessels almost exploded from the pressure of the reversing energy.

The focused energy that was in his heart disappeared as they flew toward his forehead entering his brain. Just like his heart that had been burnt and reconstructed over and over again becoming a crystal heart his brain went through the same process.

“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!”

“Shhh..It will be fine,” said his mother calmly directing the pure energy .

Each time his brain reconstructed the pain multiplied by ten folds. When his brain broke he would fall into a unconscious lull and when it reconstructed he would wake up screaming.

This continued for only a couple of minutes but to Mark it was a eternity.

His mother that was quietly directing the energy around his body had become glistening with sweat. Her eyes had a dead look like they had seen through an eternity of darkness.

After the brain became as crystalline as his heart the energy congealed at his mother's finger tip in a black ball. It emitted a rancid smell of hundreds of impurities.

“There’s no turning back now hehe,” giggled his mother crazily.
