Chapter 36

After mouthing the words, the whole world in front of him sped up and returned to normal. The markings that he had done to their faces had also disappeared.

“You're finally awake!” exclaimed Riley shaking his shoulders.

“What?”

“You wouldn’t wake up after being called for a long while so we thought something was wrong and was about to call the hospital but you woke up. Then you fainted again for a few minutes and now you're awake again,” explained Mikaela.

“What!” exclaimed Mark hearing the exact same words he had heard a few minutes ago.

“Mikaela call 911,” whispered Riley to Mikaela.

Turning back to Mark she held her finger in front of him saying, “How many fingers am I holding?”

“Three?”

“Mark..I’m holding out one finger,” said Riley gravely.

The room around him started to spin like he was being thrown around like a ragdoll. He closed his eyes only to see a blinding flash of light that forced his eyes to open.

When he opened them again he had reappeared back in front of the crowd as a two year old child. A fight was beginning to happen between Marianne and T’mar.

“I want fucking answers you damn scumbag!”

“Ms. Wilson please calm down.”

Two of the guards around the area were holding Marianne back and was slowly leading her away from the room.

“Fuck off!” yelled Marianne throwing the two guards to the ground, “I want fucking answers for the abandonment of the Indian Ocean Front!”

A few of the guards that had not been thrown onto the ground moved to detain Marianne. But they failed miserably, being thrown like ragdolls like the first two.

“Ms. Wilson, I don’t know what you’re talking about. We have never had a Indian Ocean Front,” explained T’mar mediating the situation, “The last front we had was ten years ago and it was the Brazilian Front, Ms. Wilson.”
