„I’d like the Premium Service for today,” SolHi loudly read the note seen on the notebook’s screen. A note that a client left as a private message for Ha Ni on her personal page „The Black Lotus!” A web page where Ha Ni’s sexy photo was seen on full-screen.
„Premium?” DooSan asked, approaching her. „What do you mean by Premium?”
„Deliveries?!” SolHi answered in a slightly mockery tone, pointing with her head toward the notebook. „You should know better than me what this means because… you, men, have such an interesting taste in certain… things,” she added, teasing him. „Something that makes me wonder if I should also order a Premium Delivery for you, partner?”
„Only if you are the gift… inside a box and with a red bow around your waist,” responded DooSan, returning her the „favor” this way. „Something I still doubt anyway, that you’ll willingly accept to enter such a box and be my… dead gift. So, as I know that I won’t ever have what I want… I better say… „pass” to your offer.”
To his great surprise, SolHi reacted pretty well to his suggestion. Something that he didn’t expect, but still something surprising when she took a paper knife, which she gave to him later, saying to him, „You can give it a try if you want. Something that won’t be difficult at all for you while you did this before. Or… would you like a pillow instead of a paper knife?”
Listening to her words, DooSan showed her his fangs and said, „I think the nickname „dog” is more about you than about me. Why? Because you bite more often than I do.” After that, he turned his back to her, intending to keep investigating that place, which was the victim’s apartment. Yet, he right away pulled back the moment he spotted, from the corner of his eyes, how SolHi squeezed that knife in her hand, taking a few steps toward him. Something that made poor DooSan stutter in the end, „What the hell crosses your mind right now? To kill me here or what?”
„A wise thought in fact… killing you in an isolated place. The perfect place actually for a mad dog like me to pounce on you and stab my fangs in your jugular vein. A thought that gives me the feeling you’re afraid of me right now… partner. Am I right?” Saying this, SolHi stared into DooSan’s eyes while her eyes were strangely sparkling, something that managed to disarm him eventually.
Even so, not being ready to give her the satisfaction of seeing him terrified, DooSan cleared his voice and, stretching his back, he proudly said, „Of course, not! Not in a thousand years will I be afraid of you.” Words that expressed the contrary of what he felt at that moment because his hand slowly approached SolHi’s hand, taking the paper knife from her eventually. Yet, the moment he touched her hand, DooSan finally noticed that it was badly shaking. Thus, frowning, because it was something he never expected to see in her. That’s why he asked, „Something happens?”
„Nothing important,” responded SolHi, hiding her hand behind her back. After that, she approached the laptop and, to change the subject of the conversation, she said, „It seems that Lee Ha Ni was more than a simple waitress.”
„Yeah, I understood this while I was interrogating her boyfriend. And that dress… Well, it’s not something women generally wear. Only those who… you know which ones use such vestment.” Yet, spotting SolHi's glance focused on him, something that disarmed him again, DooSan asked, „What this time?"
„Nothing. I was just wowing about the pretty outdated way of thinking you have, Prosecutor Han. And yes, next time when I decide to wear such a dress, a mini one, I’ll think twice about this because… maybe I’ll look like a prostitute. Or… would it be better this way?! Because… who knows, maybe this way I’ll have you… submissive, on all four in front of me. Something that men generally adore.”
„Ya,” shouted DooSan, forcing her to cover her ears with her palms.
At all bothered by that shout, SolHi mumbled in mockery, „Yeah, yeah, I heard the bark, Hunting Dog! Now you’re free to check the apartment! Maybe you find some useful evidence instead of attacking me.” Then, sitting in front of the laptop, she started to check the information on that web page again.
Deeply breathing in to calm down, DooSan gazed at her for a while. Yet, seeing that SolHi wasn’t paying attention to what he was doing, he turned his back to her and started to look through the victim’s things, mumbling, „She simply adores to command! And these things… nothing useful. Only…,” he kept silent eventually, finding, in one of the drawers, a few clothes for men. Seeing this, he cooked his nose again and said, „We have a HE too.”
Approaching DooSan, SolHi started to look through those clothes, where she found, under a pair of pants, a few con…ms. „Yours?” She asked DooSan, frowning.
„Yeah, I always carry such things with me when I check a crime scene. Like a necessary accessory for a prosecutor.”
„No need to brag,” responded SolHi calmly. „Anyway, it was only a remark. Don’t take it personally and follow me! I have something more important to show you than these… things.”
„What can be more important than… Only shit!” Hissed DooSan through his teeth, approaching SolHi and seeing Ha Ni’s photo with a man, hugged. „Is that one…?”
„Yep, your eternal lover,” SolHi teased him. Yet, the surprised one had been her eventually when she spotted DooSan looking with interest at her. „What now?”
„How did you find this out?”
„What exactly?”
„That Min SinJu and I hate each other. Don’t tell me… stalker?”
„Yeah, absolutely! It’s all I’ve done in the last 7 years… following you everywhere and checking your lovers. Don’t exaggerate, ok?! If I know this, it’s because of your boxing match, which actually everybody saw on TV that day. It was obvious that you don’t love him. Only… if it’s that kind of tough love between you two…”
„What about keeping your mouth shut, huh?!” SolHi shrugged. „Thanks, I appreciate it!” Said DooSan in mockery, seeing her silent. „And… follow me! There’s nothing we can use from here to find the idiot who killed her. Let’s try our luck elsewhere!” After that, he’d been the first one to leave the apartment.
Watching behind him, SolHi smiled. „You’re the champion, Ian SolHi!” She said. After that, still smiling, she grabbed the laptop and left the apartment too.

„Are you from the police?” SolHi heard a weak voice coming from the neighbor's apartment. Looking to her left, she saw that the door was half opened and, behind it, half hidden, a woman was staying on the floor. Namely this made SolHi pay attention to that woman because it seemed something strange to see her on the floor, with the right hand somehow twisted to her back while her legs were put under her in a weird way. At the same time, the voice of that woman sounded strange.
Stolen story; please report.
Even so, SolHi decided that it was better to check than to regret it later. That’s why she approached the woman, showing her ID, and said, „Yes, I’m Detective Ian SolHi from Seoul PD.” Then, getting right in front of the door and squatting, SolHi stretched her hand in front to allow the woman to see what was written on the ID. Nevertheless, it didn’t happen right away, but she had to wait for a few moments until the woman took the ID from her hand and looked at it.
Later, after a couple of minutes of staring at the ID, the woman finally dared and opened the door a little bit more, allowing DooSan and SolHi to see her better. Thus, they could see that she was about 35, with visible traces of paralysis, which explained the weird position in which the woman was sitting. A position that managed to surprise SolHi a lot, but she tried not to show it because she knew that it would have been impolite on her part. SolHi only dared to ask the woman eventually, „May I know your name?”
Instead of an answer, SolHi heard another question from the woman’s part, like „Something happened yesterday? In the apartment I mean!” A question that amazed DooSan and SolHi even more, who finally exchanged glances, asking the other one for an answer this way.
Nevertheless, understanding that only staring at SolHi he wouldn’t be able to find out the answer he needed to know, DooSan took a few steps in front, toward SolHi and the woman that seemed to be a witness, whom he asked in the end, „If something happened? Like?”
„I don’t know much about this, but… something strange happened in that apartment last night.”
„Weird? What way?” Asked SolHi, sitting on the floor, not that far from the opened door, and trying to be as friendly as possible when she understood that the woman was an important witness.
„I mean the box was weird. A big box for gifts, which had been left next to Ha Ni’s door. Last night. At first, when I saw it, I thought that it was a present for her. Yet… soon, someone took that box. Somewhere.”
„Did you see who took the box?” Asked DooSan, squatting, right behind SolHi.
„I think it was one of those boys that generally delivers things. I don’t know for what company he was working because I saw it only from behind, but… I think the man who lives with Ha Ni can tell you more about this because… I saw him leaving the apartment last night.”
„Lee Ha Ni was living with someone?” SolHi asked, making a few notes on her phone.
„Yes. Well, they don’t live together all the time. He only comes to visit her… from time to time and only during the night.”
„A client,” murmured DooSan. Then, taking his phone out of his pocket, DooSan showed the woman a photo of Ri Jun. „Is it this man who came?”
Approaching her face to the phone to see better, the woman squinted. Then, when she could finally see Riu Jun’s face, she shook her head, saying, „No. The other one is taller and has a big tattoo on his left arm. I think he’s part of a gang or something because he always wears a leather jacket. Yesterday, he also had leather gloves.”
„He tried to protect his ass, the motherfucker,” murmured SolHi, looking at the floor.
Listening to SolHi’s words, the woman frowned. „What do you mean?” She asked in the end, staring into SolHi’s eyes.
„That’s nothing. Only… a remark,” SolHi randomly said, stretching her business card to the woman. „Call me if you remember something else! And… May I know your name? I need it to send someone to take your statement.”
„Ok,” the woman answered. „It’s Shi Yon. Yun Shi Yon. My name.”
„Ok, Shi Yoon, thank you for sharing with us what you know. Thus, we can find what happened that night there.” After that, SolHi stood up and approached DooSan, who was waiting for her a few steps from the place they stood by then.
Once next to him, SolHi heard him whispering, „With such neighbors, what do you need cameras for?! By the way, you also fit in this category.” After that, sketching an ironic smile, DooSan went away.
Staring behind him, SolHi growled, „Now it’s my fault?! Damn turkey! I bet that if a storm comes, he’ll be well protected and at float because of the tail that will help him fly.” Saying this, still bothered by that commentary, SolHi imitated the turkey while heading toward the elevator that was waiting for her.

Walking out of the building, SolHi saw DooSan talking by phone with someone. And, from the tone of his voice, SolHi understood that he had an argument with that person, that’s why she decided that it’d be safer for her not to approach him. She only stopped and carefully stared at him, understanding this way that the man she was seeing had something that made her hate him. What exactly?! She didn’t know. Even so, still staring at him, she said eventually, „He definitely looks like a turkey. And, as I said, only the tail is missing to be the perfect combination.” Then, feeling the need to do this, SolHi imitated a punch. Nevertheless, even if she thought that DooSan’s conversation was for long, she’d been forced to „freeze” that punch half away through the air when she noticed him staring at her. She even forced a smile when she saw DooSan frowning. After that, understanding that fooling around when he saw her already wouldn’t have brought her anything good, she decided to simply turn her back to him, pretending that nothing happened.
Eventually, she frowned the moment she heard DooSan yelling at her, „What the hell are you waiting for? An invitation to dance? Or maybe to… open you the door?”
„I was waiting for a wise partner, but I received a turkey instead,” she said in mockery while approaching him. „And… the invitation or to open the door… don’t bother, ok?! I can live without it because… rather the North and the South Poles change their position than you to be a gentleman.” After that, opening the door, SolHi intended to enter the car. Yet, right away stopped and, looking at DooSan, she told him, „Allow me to give you a piece of good advice, Prosecutor Han: never bring another turkey like you into this world or it’ll be definitely the end of the world.” Then… she simply entered the car, slamming the door behind her.
DooSan, staring in front with pumped eyes because he was astonished by her words, suddenly shook his head mumbling, „What the hell was that?” A question he thought would remain unanswered. Yet, to his great surprise, he received a response to this too when SolHi opened the window and told him:
„What was that? Nothing out of the ordinary: only the perfect characteristic of the person I see in front. A turkey in your case. And… Thank God that stupidity isn’t contagious. Otherwise, we would have had a lot of stupid turkeys walking around the world. Just like you, Prosecutor Han!”
„What? A turkey? Recently I’m a turkey and not a dog?”
„Yeah, absolutely because I decided that it’d be better for you to use the right words to describe you. No offense, I mean!”
„Ia, Ian SolHi, who the hell do you think you are to calm me like this?”
„I? The Hunting Dog. You gave me this nickname, remember?! So, not to be offensive to you not having any nickname, I chose another one for you: turkey. So… Mister Turkey, what keeps you away from this car? The tail? Because of this, you are still out of the car and not in as it should have been, huh? If so, just tell me: I can help you with this. With the tail, I mean because it’s impossible even for me to buy you another brain.”
Definitely looking like a bull that saw red in front, DooSan approached the door, trying to open it. While approaching the door, he hissed through his teeth, „Ia, Ian SolHi, listen to me carefully…”
„Ia, ia, whatever! Just get in the car for once and follow me, Mister Turkey, because… I definitely don’t need either your advice or your arrogance. So… what are we waiting for right now? Flying pigs?” After that, not waiting for the answer, a wise decision in fact because she saw that DooSan was about to break her into pieces, she closed the window, sweetly yawning right in front of DooSan’s nose.
Seeing her acting like this, DooSan was about to kick the door. Nevertheless, understanding that it was useless to punish the door instead of SolHi, he simply decided to get in the car and move away. If not, he was sure that if he had stood there for a little bit longer, from a simple stupid turkey that was walking around the world as SolHi named him, he could get on a plate, fried. A thought that didn’t comfort him at all because… while entering that car… he outlined the words to be also heard by SolHi… „Turkey! Well… psycho, just wait… I’ll definitely show you what a turkey can do!”
„If you say so…,” murmured SolHi, yawning. Yet, seeing DooSan staring at her with beast eyes, she shrugged, telling him in a sweet voice, „I really don’t understand why it bothers you to be called a turkey. Lovely animals by the way.”
„Birds, you wanted to say.”
„Yeah, birds, and… I was about to correct my mistake, but… glad to know that you are aware of which category you belong to.” After that, listening to DooSan’s roar, who pressed the gas pedal to the brim to leave that place, SolHi looked through the window, saying in her head, „Well, Ian SolHi, you definitely can kill someone if you decide so. And… it’ll be definitely funny to kill this one. Only… too bad that you can’t fry him like the normal turkeys. Too bad!”
