Omake: Part 1
Sora’s POV
“Shall we get started then?” I ask, as I point my sword to the five.
I wonder if I will be able to handle them? As long as they remain over confident and refrain from using their full strength, I have a chance. Either which ways this fight goes, any outcome for me is good. If they win, I am freed of my responsibilities as a Gatekeeper and that ‘Mizuki’ won’t have any issues letting me free. If I win, I gain minions….I am only interested in that woman. She has such a kawai face!
The three warriors stared at the skeleton warrior gatekeeper. Although a skeleton has no expressions on his skull like face; for some reason the way the skeleton was staring at Claire, they immediately knew this skeleton was having some lewd-ero thoughts of their ‘good’ friend.
Oye! Oye! Oye! Don’t go about blocking the good view like that. What is this stupid warrior doing standing in front of the beauty! He is completely blocking my view!
“Come skeleton warrior! Let me entertain you!” Tulda said as he approached Sora. He was more ‘passionate’ about Claire than the others. He would not let this ero-skeleton steal any more glances at Claire.
“Entertain me? Why would I want you a smelly bag of muscles like you to entertain me. Why don’t you send the woman behind you to entertain me!”
“I am going make you wish that you had never spoken those words, Skeleton!” Tulda roared as he charged towards Sora.
Woah! This guy is fast! I guess it is one thing to watch the recording in a crystal ball and another to actually face them.
But still…given this level of speed, I can easily dodge him. His movements are very poor. Just by looking at his charging motion, I know where he is headed. The strain building up on his shoulders as he is raising his great axe is a dead give-away, he intends to swing it with a single hand.
Hmmm, if I had to guess he is going to swing flat wide and then reverse swing.
In that case, let me dodge backwards.
*SWISH* SWISH*
Tulda swung his axe twice in the very manner predicted by Sora but missed both times.
This guy is too lame. His skills are a bit good but if holds himself back like this, he will never be able to touch me. What kind of lame training is this?
*Sigh* He has completely given into his emotional temperament, might as well give me a Spanish book to read – that might be more difficult to read than this big lumps movements. For a berserker he is so-so.
“Stand still!” Tulda roared as he swung his axe wildly.
Really ‘stand still’? You request your enemy to stand still? What kind of idiot are you?
“Heh, weren’t you just saying you were going to make me regret ever saying those words. And now you are requesting me to stand still? While we are at it, why don’t you request your comrades to help you….for example that pretty woman there.”
Ah fighting her would be great. I would get to see some great *action*, I wouldn’t need a sword to attack her. Just my hands would do.
“You have spoken more than enough! You lustful Gatekeeper!” Hem barked as he rushed in with his massize sword.
“Rightly said.” Boze added as he took out his twin blades.
“Three idiots against one? You could bring a hundred idiots like you and that still won’t be enough.”
Maybe I am getting way too serious with my role….Ah…who cares.
The three warriors charged towards Sora simultaneously. Tulda first swung the axe at Sora’s feet. Then, Hem plunged the sword towards Sora’s torso and finally Boze reappeared behind Sora, his only retreat option, awaiting to stab his blades into Sora.
However, contrary to their expectations. Sora dived towards Tulda and Hem than retreat backwards. He jumped onto Hem’s large rectangular blade and began running on it! Sora stepped on Hem’s hand holding the sword and then kicked Hem in the face. Hem had loosened his grip on the sword when Sora stepped on his sword however that turned out to be a bad mistake. The sword flew out from his hands, as he flew backwards, and went straight for Boze.

But what would be more surprising is, Tulda also got hit. When Sora jumped on to Hem’s sword, he had activated the Ice Daggar. A small rod of ice shot out of the ground and knocked Tulda straight in the groin. Thankfully, Tulda took notice of the ice road and jumped backwards to dodge. Unfortunately, he was still hit albeit with not as much force.
They attack better as a group….but not as good. There are still way too many openings in their formation. I guess this won’t be any fun if they don’t get serious.
“Dammit. Since when has the fifth floor Gatekeeper been this strong?” Tulda groaned as he got up. It hurt him *there* as he stood up.
“Boze, step back.” Crayord shouted out. Crayford slowly pulled out a long black sword from ‘thin air’.
I see finally, the strongest one is coming to fight me. Honestly, I have always been curious in fighting this one. Out of all the recordings I saw, his style of fighting was the best and most savage. Let’s see how he reacts to a bit of tension in the air …
Sora began emitting a powerfully fiendish blood thirst.
Crayford began to think this monster clearly was not any ordinary Gatekeeper. In turn Crayford, released his full strength. A blood thirst far more stronger than Sora’s instantly filled the air!
This might be bad – I might have gone over my head on this one. Shit! Why is he fighting me seriously! What is with this insane killing intent!
Maybe I can still get out of this one. I’ll just remind him of the free passage – maybe he has forgotten about it.
“I did offer you free passage.”
Please just take the free passage. I don’t want to fight you! Sh*t! I seriously underestimated this one!
The two circle each other slowly as the four disciples quietly watched on. They were all confused why their Master desired to fight this low level skeleton boss. However, no one raised any objections as they rarely got to see their Master fight seriously.
F*ck it! If you want a fight you get one!
“Are we just going to keep going on in circles or are we even going to fight?”
Come on take the bait, I have lowered my guard.
Crayford took the opportunity and rushed in.
Sucker…..Hell he is fast! Will I be able to dodge it….
Rule One Activated.
Hah!...wait a minute is he slowing down? What the f*ck? Did he just turn his sword side to the dull side? He even let me hit him?? Is this guy looking down on me?
“What the f*ck was that? Why did you slow down? I know you saw through my skill! Are you mocking…..”
Okay this seriously getting weird. From attacking me, this man has suddenly gone down to bowing to me. Why is bowing down to me?
“Please forgive me Sensei for failing to recognize you!”
Sensei who? Me?
