Chloe's eyes widened as the demon's noodle like arms twisted and twirled together and she balled up her fists. Scurvy's plaque like limbs had morphed into a makeshift hammer, and with a wildness in her eyes, she swung it backwards. "Get ready for my plaquehammer!" she giggled.
Chloe aimed to move, but her gut seized up. She wasn't used to such a potent disease infecting her body. Having wound up all she could, Topsy Scurvy's plaquehammer was ready to pound the young pirate queen to pulp.
"Rosemary..." Chloe muttered to herself. "Help me!"
"It's over, Queenie weenie!" Topsy cackled. "TIME TO GO BYE BYE!"
As the Topsy brought the hammer down, Chloe continued to edge along the floor. "I'm not gonna admit it's over...until I'm dead..."
A strength filled her arms and legs as they grew veiny and a shade of familiar purple, and at the last second, she cartwheeled away, narrowly dodging the blow.
Instead, the plaquehammer collided with the witness podium, shattering it to pieces.
As Topsy's weird and wild eyes expanded, Chloe taunted her. "Some judge you are..." she said, panting. "There's no order in your court!"
Topsy grew so furious, she bit into her moldy lips. "Thanks Rose," Chloe said softly. "You always know when your cue is."
"Of course, of course," Rosemary gloated. "I was a performer and I never miss my cue! Now then..."
Chloe's limbs jerked forward all on their own. Even with the scurvy infected her energy level, Rosemary's demon rage seemed to overcome the fatigue.
"How are you moving like that?" Scurvy demanded. "I've never seen such a sick scurvy victim move like that before!"
Rosemary didn't answer and merely lifted Chloe's fist and threw it straight at Topsy's head. The first made direct contact with the demon's head, causing her head to pivot around in circles, twisting her neck up. With her hands, she stopped it from twisting (though her eyes were still rolling around) and she hissed. "How dare you!"

"Some people like to fight disease with medicine," Chloe boasted. "I do it with demon fisticuffs!"
Topsy's springy limbs began to flail forward, attempting to pummel Chloe. If it wasn't for Rosemary's demon like reflexes, Chloe wouldn't have been able to side step and flip out of the way. With a backflip propelling her safely out of the way, the demon's roving eyes bulged incredulously.
Chloe stuck out her tongue and mocked her opponent. "Looks like a sorry disease like you, picked a fight with the cure!"
She laughed to herself loudly and obnoxiously in her best pirate rasp, but suddenly, the young queen stopped. A drop of blood trickled from her mouth and fell to the floor. "Why does my stomach feel so twisted..." she cried, feeling pain on a level she hadn't felt since Fienmond replaced her eye with Rosemary.
Topsy Scurvy sprung forward on her heels and rammed Chloe in the stomach, causing her to drop to the floor. Falling face first on the floorboards, Chloe looked weakly up at her adversary. Topsy stuck out her tongue and pulled down her veiny eyelid.
"Feeling a little under the weather are we?" she asked with faux concern.
Chloe only managed a grunt in response. Topsy laughed and kicked her in the head. "We should get your mommy to take your temperature!" she laughed to herself. "Oh wait...she's dead!"
Chloe's lips trembled. Pirates don't cry, was the mantra she repeated in her head.
Topsy Scurvy began to prance around Chloe's body singing and laughing evilly.
Chloe had never heard words crueler and colder than a stab from a scabbard. But she had not been on the high seas too long. Her face winced and her fists balled up, but she could not move.
"Rose..." She murdered but was only met with a sad response.
"Sorry darling, I use your body and the scurvy has gotten so bad that...I can't do anything either."
Scurvy continued to prance in circles, singing like a demented school child. But as Chloe's sight grew weary, another figure approached them. It was Ramone.
He tapped Scurvy on the shoulder. "Knock knock," he said in a sophisticated voice.
"Who's there?" Scurvy asked, perplexed that a weary satyr was telling her a knock knock joke.
'C" Ramone answered.
"C who?"
Ramone pulled out a bunch of lemon slices and squirted it all over Scurvy's face.
"Vitamin C you later!" he chortled.
Chloe watched in amazement as Scurvy, now doused with lemon juice began to melt before her very eyes. "I can't believe it..." Scurvy hissed as her features liquefied. "I'm meeeeelting! What a world!"
Chloe's jaw nearly dropped as Scurvy became nothing but a liquid puddle with a pair of pigtails.
"I hope you've learned your lesson, Queen Annabell," Ramone tut tutted. "A pirate must always get her vitamin C on the high seas!"
"You were always such a health nut...Rammy," Chloe sighed, before she slipped into the depths of unconsciousness.
