Everyone ate their algae and kelp in the mess hall, and unless you were King Phil Le, it was a very gross last meal. Chloe could not believe their bad luck and Rosemary reminded her of that.
"What a pesky, perky little trap we've fallen into!"
"You're not angry about this?" Chloe said. "I'm so angry I could mud wrestle with a whale and win!"
Rosemary cackled. "Luckily for us, this is a grand oppurtunity. For where there is greed and lust for power, there is Fienmond lurking in the shadows. We will wait until he makes his grand appearance and then I will charge you full of my limitless power. You will then bring him down...for me."
"Don't you mean us..." Chloe muttered. "And you realize I might not survive as much as I want my revenge too."
"If we end Fienmond," Rosemary said. "That will be a life well lived. I'm not even living anyway, except for off you."
She cackled and faded into the ether of Chloe's mind. Chloe gave an uneasy look prompting Monica to put her hand on Chloe's shoulder. "Are you okay chica? Is the food really that bad? You're looking a little green."
Chloe sighed. "It's nothing, beautiful swordslady. But thanks for your concern."
Ramone put his hoof on Chloe's shoulder too. "Don't worry, my Queen. We are all going down to together. And you know what, even if I don't ever get to bask in the sunlight in Swinging Singles Island. I don't care now. After our little incident in the big fish, I am more than honored to protect you from that demon inside you, my queen."

"And I barely know yous guys," Vinnie the Eel spoke in his gangster voice. "But I gots to tell you. Your drive and the fact you gots a beautiful lady on your side makes me happy I did a face heel turn."
He clasped Monica's hand who quickly eyed him with a death stare. "It is love that truly makes a wicked man 'ave a change of heart!"
Monica growled. "Senor, you're gonna need to change your heart if you keep touching my hands."
Captain Abacab roared happily. "And honestly, my old friend Archibell said it best, 'as a pirate, it's not about the journey's end but the friends you make along the way. And look at this table! We're fulla friends!'"
As she observed her true mates at her last supper, Chloe's eyes started watering. "This kelp is really salty," she muttered. "I think I got some of that salt in my eyes."
"You know, Miss Matey," Abacab said. "A pirate is allowed to get sentimental!"
Chloe chuckled cooly through her tears. "Yeh...I just had no idea I'd end up with such an awesome crew in the end! From a beautiful swordswoman, to an electrifying eel man to a chocolate soda drinking captain with an odd fixation on flapjacks to..."
Chloe turned to Ramone with shimmering eyes. "To my best mate, someone whose been there since the beginning. The GOAT of friends!"
Ramone smiled fondly at Chloe. "I'm glad to be your GOAT. We may have had a rocky time over these last few days. We truly navigated those waters and in the end, this is where I want to be."
Everyone gazed with fondness in their eyes until they were interupted by a loud clank. Chief Inspector Valcom stood at the forefront of the tent. "I never expected a bunch of hardened rogues to be so sappy. But now, it's finally time. My master has arrived and so has all of the other leaders from around the sea. But he's told me that everyone else is just to fill the seats in the tent. Who he truly wants is you, Queen Annabell."
Chloe gave a formidable glare at Valcom. "Bring it on, Big Lady." And she turned to Monica. "Give us your tagline, swordslady."
Monica smiled boldly. "You may force us to watch some shoddy presentation for world domination. But senora anchor arms, we ain't going down without a fight!"
